I recently switched to ACR (well, BlackChip Poker) and I am having a problem with Hand Histories. The poker client software just isn't saving them? It isn't working on my mac or my PC. Changing the HH folder location does not fix the issue. A search on google shows that a lot of people are having this issue, but I haven't found a solution yet. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
(Just as more data - I also CAN'T disable the "save Hand History" checkbox in the Poker client settings. If I disable the check box, hitting "Apply" or "Ok" does nothing, unless I re-check the box. Then I can close the settings.)
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you all!
I'm sorry for the lengthy and detailed instructions that follow, but I want to ensure that I cover all the possible solutions, starting with the most straightforward one. Please bear with me, as I don't have any personal experience with MACs.
a) Holdem Manager 3 requires the \Documents folder to be a local folder and not a shared folder.
To use HM3 with Parallels, you have to disable the shared \Documents folder between OS X and Windows.
Please follow the guide from their website with possible solutions:
https://kb.parallels.com/en/112983
Specifically:
2. Isolate Windows from Mac to exclude Mac OS X influence. (Virtual Machine > Configure… > Options > Security > check on Isolate Mac from Windows)
b) If you continue to have problems:
1) Restart the computer.
2) Reinstall your WPN poker client.
3) Update your WPN poker client and close it
4) Restart HM3 and ensure HM3 and the HM3 Server (Auto Import/HUD) are fully started.
5) Launch your poker client(s).
c) If you continue to have problems:
Try creating a new folder on your computer such as C:\WPNHands and C:\WPNTourneys then setup your WPN client to save both the hands/results here in their settings/options and setup HM3 to Auto Import from there in the Tools - Site Settings - Auto Import Folders menu -
https://kb.holdemmanager.com/knowled...file-locations
Make sure you 'Remove' all the unused auto-import folders for the site's default hand history path. Any duplicate paths for the same site can cause the HUD to fail sometimes, even though the hands are being imported to the database.
d) If none of that helps:
Please reproduce the issue and screenshot the tables/HM3 then send the requested logs, screenshots, and hand history files in a support ticket as instructed at the bottom of this FAQ -
