2 Holdemmanager:

Hello!
I'm interested in one function, is it in holdemmanager?
Let's say I have a database of 10 thousand players and all the statistics on them, and I want to select from this database all accounts that have identical statistics (with a small error), more than 3 accounts from this database, is it possible to do this in your program?
Can I see these accounts?

We have the Opponents List View but the filtering is rather simple and limiting in that view compared to the filtering you can do in the reports with a single player or an alias of multiple players. I can't think of any other way to do what you want but perhaps it might be possible in the SQLite Database Browser if you are familiar with how to query a database manually.

We also have the Range Wizard app for HM3, that will soon be getting a major update and be renamed to Leak Explorer, for population analysis but I am not sure if they can really do what you want as I do not regularly use those apps myself.

Has there been a change in the licensing rules? I let my license expire last year because I was quite unhappy with the new cost structure. At the time I was told that my HEM would continue to work but would not be entitled to new updates. I was ok with that as long as I maintained access to my old database.

Today I opened HEM3 for the first time in quite a while and was prompted to log in. When I did so I was told I only had access to the free version and could only see 500 hands of my database and to see the rest I would need to renew. Is that an error or some change I am unaware of. I am really hoping it is an error because it would be real crappy to lock me out of a database that I purchased. I get not being entitled to ongoing support but refusing to let me see the hands I imported while paying for it seems a bit shady.

That indicates that HM3 was updated beyond the maximum stable version that was released before your Support & Maintenance (S/M) expired. You should be able to install the older version from the HM3 - Help - My Licenses... menu. If you have any issues rolling back via that method please create a support ticket via the 'Contact Support' link with a link to this thread and your forum username. Please reproduce the problem and attach a set of log files and a screenshot and detailed description of the issue in the support ticket you created so we can get you a direct link to the older version of HM3 that you need.

Hi,

HM3 hud is not appearing on 888 SNAP tables. It works fine on cash game tables.

I've mentioned this in the 888 thread and the rep said you had pushed through an update to fix but it is still not appearing for me.

This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. These changes should be available in the next gold beta release above version 3.1.24.8496+. You will receive a prompt to update HM3 any time there is an update available as long as you have enabled the Tools - Settings - General - [x] 'Check for Updates' and [x] 'Prompt for beta updates' options. You can check for new updates via the HM3 - Help - 'Check for updates...' option. You can also check for updates and release notes in our HM3 Releases forum or in our Release Notes FAQ.

You need to install the latest beta version of HM3 for it to work on Zoom tables due to a recent update Stars made for their Zoom games. If you continue to have problems, please see our HUD Troubleshooting FAQ and reproduce the issue then send the requested logs, screenshots, and hand history files in a support ticket as instructed at the bottom of that FAQ with a link to this forum thread and your forum username.

That likely depends on which Stars skin you play on at the moment. The only way to know for sure is to test the new beta in Free mode. If the new beta works for you but the old one doesn't, then you need the new one that requires an active S/M for full features.

I have no way to know that for sure as we no longer support it, so we no longer track where it does and doesn't work. All I can suggest is to give it a try and see if it works for you.

Question: Is it somehow possible to take a one page screenshot of a hand, so you could post it to friends and such on whatsapp or FB messenger? I discuss poker with my poker playing friends and it's kinda annoying that I can't easily post hand histories in an easily readable format to them without posting the hands to forums.

If not possible, would it be impossible to add such a feature at some point? No biggie, just a suggestion.

You can export hands from the Replayer, Hand History Viewer, or the Reports Hands View in a plain text format. Or,win you can just open the Hand History Viewer and use Windows Snipping Tool to grab a screenshot of the hand viewer.

Hello,

My debit card expired and I need to change account details to my new card to pay for the subscription. It says on your site that this option is 'coming soon'?
It also won't let me just cancel the thing for some reason.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hey fozzy. I am going to get a new laptop soon as I'm in the US now and looking at laptops.

You would never recommend getting a macbook and using it to run HEM3 correct? I always used windows and was going to buy another windows laptop but I was considering a macbook.

If I buy a macbook and download bootcamp or parallels, I heard a while back these were the programs you need to download to use windows on a mac, would that work with HEM? I assume it would but you would not recommend this?

Also my old xps 15 9550 that i use to play, i had upgraded the ram to 8gb to 32gb a while back but mentioned stars aurora still had issues with this when lot of tables. HEM3 would still be good enough if my new laptop whether its a windows or mac only has 16gb ram? Or should I make sure i upgrade the ram to 32gb if its windows? Or should the processor will be more than fast enough to handle this? I know my old xps laptop processor is older as i5-6300hq though and my graphics card is just very old with intel hd 630 graphics and nvidia geforce gtx960m.

Thanks.

I have never used a MAC, so I can not comment on it. Our QA/Testing Manager uses one, and so does/did a former employee, but I don't know how they got on with HM3 on it.

Correct. There are no plans for a MAC version of HM3. If you want to use HM3 on a MAC you will need to use something like Parallels or BootCamp so you can install Windows for playing poker. If you do not want to use Windows to play poker you could consider trying the MAC version of PT4.

My old Desktop had 16 GB of RAM, a decent i7 for when I bought it 4 or 5 years ago, and an SSD, and it did well from what I recall but it died nearly 2 years ago so I could be remembering wrong.

I would compare similar computers on a PC building site and see what the price difference is between 16 and 32 GB for the type of machine you want. I would bet the difference is maybe 10 or 15% more to double the RAM, in which case I would do it personally if you plan to keep this new laptop as long as you kept the last one.

Here is my 3 year old laptop specs for reference. I bought it from Best Buy in October of 2019 for 1600 or 1800 on sale if I recall correct. I had a working Desktop at the time so this only got used when I traveled or went to a coffee shop, etc until the desktop died 20 or so months ago then this became my daily driver. I don't mass multi-table like you but my laptop has no issues for me testing on 3 or 4 tables at a time, or importing 100's of thousands (or millions) of customer hands for testing.

Edit: 512 GB SSD

Hey thanks for the response fozzy. So i should ask this question in the hem forum then on if people who have a mac and use hem3 with parallel or bootcamp like it or not? I have rarely considered a mac as I always used windows... but when I read about how long the battery is with macbooks, that is why i am considering one. Now even though i use it plugged almost always, having a long battery seems very good.

I don't think i want to use PT on mac. I used PT and its fine... but the way the hem hud looks is much easier to look at compared to the PT hud. So I have to use windows because I like the HEM hud layout.

Most laptops nowadays are 16gb ram or 8gb and rarely 32gb. But you could upgrade the ram on sites like dell etc or some laptops have 32gb ram. Yea the cost of upgrading the ram will be a bit more. I never considered how much percent more but I do want to use the new laptop for a long time.

I'm curious but I see your device from that picture is Msi and from what I been reading on laptops, is there a reason you bought that specific gaming laptop as you said you only used it for travel or when you go to coffee shop? Do you play any games at all? I heard people say if you don't play games, do not get a gaming laptop. Those specs are pretty strong for few years ago. Is it because for importing millions of customer hands for testing, you needed a gaming laptop? Thus a midrange or ultrabook one wouldn't work?

Right now, I'm leaning to getting the current xps 15 9520 model and was considering just keeping the ram at 16gb since its ddr5. But now i might upgrade it max to 32gb. Machine would cost over 2.2k at least though. But other laptops seem to cost much less... but my concern is if i need a 3050 or not or if just a regular graphics card would work.

I have a Best Buy Credit Card that gives me 0% interest for 18 months, and this was basically the only laptop with a 512 GB SSD, 32 GB of RAM, and a 15-inch screen they had in stock nearby when I bought it in October of 2019.

Hey thanks for that information. Oh okay so the 32gb ram was the most important thing to your new computer right? Very few laptops seem to have that preconfigured and if so, almost always expensive. But it didn't bother you that the laptop was a gaming laptop though and bulky when you take it outside? Also i got to assume the battery life is pretty poor on the gaming laptop as well when you took it outside or tested it inside? I heard gaming laptops batteries are very bad.

Okay how do I right now on my old xps 9550 with HEM3, how do i import the settings so when I use a new laptop, I transfer all the settings to it where the hud and everything looks exactly the same? I want to do this with HEM2 as well. I do not care about the old hand histories I have and want to make sure the hud looks exactly like how it does. Also when you import the settings, are the tabs in hem3 and hem2 the same such as overall and all those other tabs or that you have to manually configure yourself on a new laptop?
