What program is that? HRC? Does the same thing happen if you toggle HM3 - HUD - [x] 'Standard HUD' or only when the [x] 'Graphical HUD' is toggled on?

- Close your poker clients, close HM3 and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray.
- Restart HM3 and make sure HM3 and the HM3 Server (Auto Import/HUD) is fully started.
- Launch your poker client(s).

a) Please enable the Tools - Settings - Feature Logging - [x] HUD - OK.

b) Please reproduce the problem and:
- Take a screenshot of the table/desktop before and after the problems
- Try to include the Live Play tab, your poker client lobby and a browser page of this site - https://time.is/ - visible in the screen shot.

c) Click the 'Send Feedback' button from the left sidebar menu, or from the 'Help' menu at the top, and send your logs and config files with a detailed description of the problem.
- You can also attach any screenshots or other files to the Send Feedback interface as long as they don't total over 250 MB (including logs).
- Attach a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue*

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue. If all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

*All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM3Archive is in C:\HM3Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Network\Month\DayOfMonth (example: C:\HM3Archive\SiteName\HM3Archive\2016\07\31). It is configured in the Tools - Settings - Import menu.

Thanks for the feedback. I was able to reproduce the issue with HRC and the HM3 Graphical HUD so I wrote up the issue for our developers to try and address in a future release.

How do i save the hem3 hud and settings where if i have to do a clean reinstall, then i could just install hem3 on a clean reinstall pc or new pc and have my hud and all settings the same as now? Will it also show my reports the same as well or just the hud?

So save file that to a usb flash drive and/or the cloud as backup? Most people do not backup their database right? Also how long do people keep their database for before they vacuum it? So when you vacuum it, are the hands still there? Heard it makes it faster. But say you have a tb ssd or 500gb ssd and you only used up 100gb total on your ssd and have plenty of ssd space left. Should you be vacuuming it or its fine not? Are there people who use with like 10 million hands in their database?

If you only want a individual HUD profile backed up you can do that from the HM3 - HUD - HUD Editor... - 'Options' button - 'Export Profile' option. If you want to backup all your HUD profiles, your HM3 user settings, and/or your database, you can do that with the HM3 - Tools - 'Backup Database...' option.

No, unfortunately, there is no option to export/import customized reports and they are not part of the backup. They have to be backed up or copied manually from one OC to another. The 2 folders you need to save/transfer are:
- C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\3.0\Reports
- C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\3.0\Config\Column Settings
- If you can't see it, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory.

Yes.

I am not sure what most people do. I suggest to any customer that asks that they should do regular backups and keep the last 2 or 3 backups.

If your database becomes corrupt, or you have hardware problems, you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results played after the backup was created if necessary. I recommend keeping at least the most recent 2 or 3 backups so if the most recent one does not restore properly for some reason you can try the previous backup.

- You can make a backup of the active database and settings at any time by using the Tools - 'Backup Database...' menu then restore it using the Tools - 'Restore Database...' option - https://kb.holdemmanager.com/knowled...ackup-database
- Individual HUD Profiles can also be exported from the HUD - HUD Editor - Options button menu - https://kb.holdemmanager.com/knowled...itor#2-options
- All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons.

If you also want to manually backup the database/settings files:
- Your actual uncompressed HM3 databases are stored in C:\Users\{UserName}\Documents\Holdem Manager 3\Databases\.
- Your personalized HM3 settings/files are stored in C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\3.0\.
- If you can't see those folders/files, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...0-1166d1d9f4b5

Most people never vacuum their database as we only recently added the option to the HM3 - 'Tools' menu. Before it was in the HM3 Tools menu you could only vacuume a HM3 database if you downloaded and installed a 3rd party program called sqlitebrowser.org/. The only time you ever really 'need' to vacuum the database is if you purged or deleted hands.

Yes, of course. It just reorganizes the database tables to reclaim space from purged or deleted hands.

If you have plenty of free space and have not purged or deleted hands then there is no real reason to vacuum the database. I have created and used 100's of HM3 databases over the years as I make a new one every month or two and I can count how many times I have vacuumed my databases on one hand.

Yes, but if they want to use that database for live play with a HUD they are going to need a very powerful PC with a fast CPU, lots of RAM, and an SSD with lots of space. Most people with a database that size probably only use that database when reviewing lifetime data periodically, but have a much smaller database of the last say 3 - 6 months worth of hands that they use when playing live with a HUD.

Open the Position report then add the RFI stat to the report, or add the Button RFI and Cutoff RFI stats to any other report. We also have a 'Steal Pct' stat which will include RFI hands from the CO, BTN or SB as well.

It depends if you want a street specific version or a general version. They are all in the 'vsMissedCbet' category of the stats pickers:

We should have initial support hopefully in the next public beta we release if all goes well. You will receive a prompt to update HM3 any time there is an update available as long as you have enabled the Tools - Settings - General - [x] 'Check for Updates' and [x] 'Prompt for beta updates' options. You can check for new updates via the HM3 - Help - 'Check for updates...' option. You can also check for updates and release notes in our HM3 Releases forum or in our Release Notes FAQ.

Open the HUD Editor, select the Profile you want to edit, click one of the '+' buttons to open the Stats Picker, then find the stats you want to add and double-click the stat to add the stat to the profile.

Was 16+tabling on stars with HEM3 and starscaption and my tables crashed/frozed so many times. I had to close the stars client and reopen starscaption and HEM3 and it seem each time I then open stars client again and log in, the tables don't even load correctly. They load but you don't see anything on the tables so my tables are literally frozen. It's like only if you have less than 12 tables or so, only then would the tables load correctly. Any more, you get sat out at all your tables. And even if the tables do load, literally clicking on buttons on fold/call/raise does not work when this occurs. Sometimes I have to click it multiple times... other times clicking it 10+ times doesn't work and then it folds or I get sat out. Some people mention on stars its like your buttons get sticky... but when too many tables, no hotkeys or mouse clicking works and you get sat out and can't sit back in.

Many times i get that message to send an error report with HEM3. I must have gotten that message at least 10 times while playing and then client crashing and freezing over and over again. Is there a way to find out if its indeed the stars aurora software... or if its HEM3 or starscaption? Or its possibly my laptop? Many times it ask me to send error report and log but I had to do it at the time it ask in order for you to see what the issue is?

Also, do I need to make the better graphics card on my laptop run for everything? Example, I have

Intel (R) HD Graphics 530
NVidia Geforce GTX 960M

On default, I believe all my programs run with the Intel HD Graphics 530. Do I need to change it to the Nvidia?

My laptop is an old laptop

Dell xps 15 9550

i5-6300hq
1tb ssd
8gb ram upgraded to 32gb

Even with 32gb ram, I have tons of issues whether playing on stars or 888 with HEM3 and/or starscaption/888caption. The tables literally freeze and you get sat out the entire time if you have 16+ tables running. It seem these issues don't happen unless I Have 12 stars tables or less. With 888.... it seem 9 or 10 tables is the max tables I could play on 888 at once before the 888 client freezes and then crashes etc.

Do you know if there is anything in my computer settings that could fix this issue? Is it possible its my 2 external monitors... one being 32' 4k and the other 24' 1920x1200 and it both having different resolutions? I did check my monitor settings and all my monitors... whether my laptop monitor screen, the 32' 4k or the 24' 1920x1200... all of them in the advanced display settings internal display is Connected to Intel (R) HD Graphics 530. Do I need to make all these monitors connect to the NVidia Geforce GTX 960M and if so, how do I do that and would it make a difference?

Also I took a look and all my 3 displays.

Laptop Monitor Screen - Refresh Rate - 59.934Hz. Other option is 59.994Hz.

32' 4k Monitor - Refresh Rate - 59.937 Hz. Other options are 29.700 Hz, 30.000Hz or 59.997 Hz.

24- 1920x1200 Monitor. Refresh Rate - 59.950 Hz. Other options are 60.010 Hz.

Do I need to change each refresh rate to the highest one for each or that doesn't matter? Do you know if buying a new laptop with a much faster processor will fix this issue? Would you need a very good graphics card as well? Because it's basically impossible to play on stars if one wants to say 16+ table. And its impossible to 10+ table on 888 with the client freezing and crashing each time.

I want to know if its indeed the stars and 888 software where no fast laptop will solve this issue or not. And when I'm talking about stars and 888... I'm talking about only playing on 1 site at a time. Back then a long time ago, I remember I could even 20 tables on stars/888 with hem2 with zero issues and that was when i only had 8gb ram.

- Please try to update your graphics driver.
- If you have multiple graphics cards you can also try switching to your alternate graphics card using these steps.
- If you continue to have problems: Try to disable Hardware acceleration in the registry editor as instructed in this thread.

If none of that helps:

Please create a support ticket with a link to this thread and your forum username.

I took a look at what you posted.

When you go to settings - displays - I see display with 3 monitors. It looks like 1 2 3. The 1 is my laptop monitor screen, 2 is the 32' 4k screen and 3 is the 24' 1920x1200 screen.

When I click on graphics settings at the bottom for any of these 3 monitor screens, it ask to

Choose an app to set preference

Default is

Desktop app

If click on dropdown menu, it's microsoft store. You can click browse... but when you click browse, what are you suppose to click on? You suppose to click on stars, 888, party and HEM3, and all the caption and do it for each one?

What I did earlier was I right click desktop and Nvidia Control Panel, I went to

I would like to use the following 3d settings.

Global settings... I changed it to high-performance NVIDIA processor. By default it was the Auto select I believe. I don't think it was integrated graphics which is the only other option. I also see tab of program settings where you can click on programs like chrome, firefox etc and select the preferred graphics processor for this program. By default its integrated graphics. Should i change chrome to High Performance NVIDIA Processor? What about the other programs on dropdown menu like Control, Intel Control Panel, Calculator etc?

I went to task manager now and have HEM3 opened and stars and 888 opened. I notice in task manager,

chrome - GPU 0- 3D
HEM3 (6) - GPU 1 - 3D
poker (32bit) (6) - This is 888poker client - GPU 0 - 3D
Pokerstars Client Software - GPU 1 - 3D
Holdem Manager.Server - GPU 1 - 3D

There are other programs on my task manager as well but none of those show anything for GPU engine.

So for some reason 888 is using the slower intel graphics card 530 but stars is using the Nvidia GEForce GTX 960M? Does this look correct in how my task manager should look with these programs opened? Starscaption if I don't have it minimized to tray... doesn't show anything for GPU like some other programs etc.

I can't say, other than many customers have no issues with onboard graphics, while others do have issues.

I can't answer those questions as I am not a graphics/hardware expert and have never had to switch graphics cards as explained in that FAQ I linked. Please just reproduce and screenshot the issue then send us your questions, screenshots, and logs in a support ticket as instructed in the following FAQ so I can forward your questions to one of our remote support techs that might be able to answer your hardware questions.

You do not have to 'locate' anything. You just have to click the 'Send FeedBack' option, enter your feedback text, attach any related screenshots from the logged session, etc, then click the 'Send' button and your logs/configs will be sent to us.

Is there a reason when i check tournaments tab to see the results, sometimes some tournaments are not recorded after playing a session? If HEM3 had any crash issues during the session, could this have caused it?

Also, it seems HEM3 actually records the amount of rebuys and add ons you do? I recall back with HEM2, it couldn't do that?
