There is no built in option yet so you have to do it with the SQLite Browser application as instructed below.

- Now click Tools - 'Compact Database...' - 'OK'.
- The process will likely say 'not responding' but just be patient as it can take a good bit of time for larger databases.
- When the process finishes the 'Compact Database' window that had popped up will close and then you can close the main DB Browser software.

Hi i am looking for holdem manager 2 support. i was playing on pokerbros under a screen name and then i changed my user to lets say ' newname'. however i cant find that 'newname' on any hands anymore which is extremely frustrating. Is there a way to fix this

Although the hand converter finds the table it doesn't track any hands from this player anymore or show the hud.

You can do it in the open/new database. Right-click the one in the folder and delete it. Shift-right-click will delete immediately, instead of going to the recycle bin.

You can also do it at anytime without HM3 open by using Windows File Explorer and browsing to your databases folder. The default location is: C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\Holdem Manager 3\Databases

You will need to ask the maker of your PokerBros card catcher app for assistance. If you are using the one from EliteHUD please contact their support directly - help@elitehud.com

We can not provide technical help for unsupported sites/networks as we do not design our software to work there or test there with all of the third party tools. If you have any problems with HM2 using third party tools, to use our software with unsupported sites, all support will need to be handled by the third party software support team.

Hey, my HUD isn't loading at my PS zoom tables. It all started when I started playing party as well, but now I don't play there anymore and it's still the same.
It tracks all my hands, just the HUD issue.

I tried restarting everything but nothing worked

Are you using HM3 or HM2?

For HM3:

Make sure you always start HM3 first before you open the PokerStars Client. If you closed PokerStars for any reason and did not close HM2 please close them both and start HM3 before you start PokerStars again.

On the first run, after an install or an update, you must start the Hold'em Manager 3 HUD BEFORE you launch PokerStars. If PokerStars is open, you must close PokerStars, start the HM3 HUD/Import and then open PokerStars before Zoom HUD will function properly.

*If the Zoom HUD is not displaying after doing the above, please uninstall PokerStars, rename the associated C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\PokerStars.xx folders. and re-download and install PokerStars as the PokerStars installation is more than likely corrupted and a PokerStars reinstall should resolve the issue.

If you continue to have problems please tell us which ps.xx skin you play on and what the client/server version numbers are and send the logs/files as instructed below:

Please see our HUD Troubleshooting FAQ and reproduce the issue then send the requested logs, screenshots, and hand history files in a support ticket as instructed at the bottom of that FAQ with a link to this forum thread.


For HM2:

The first 2 paragraphs above about starting HM2 before you start Stars, etc applies.

If you have not updated to beta 8695 please do that first.

If you continue to have problems please tell us which ps.xx skin you play on and what the client/server version numbers are and send the logs/files as instructed below:

Please create a support ticket via the Contact Support link and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread. In the ticket send all the following:

Please follow the instructions in this FAQ and reply back with the answers to the 12 questions in that FAQ. Those answers should help us quickly identify your issue, skipping questions will just mean we have to ask again in the next email and will delay the resolution of the issue.

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' and 'FastPoker' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu.

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Attach a screenshot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Attach a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue*
- Close HM2 and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

* All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with 7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.* It is configured in the Site Setup - Auto Import Folders menu.

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue. If all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

i cant login to hm2 forum so posting here

my hm2 was installed on new computer working fine etc
fired up this mroning and replayer doesnt work
as in it wont replay a hand at all
the window doesnt open

EDIT - i just worked out it replays hands ive imported but wont replay any new hands ive played ont he new computer

any ideas?

What site are the hands from? I have had a few reports of IPoker hands not replaying but I have not received any logs or hands from a customer to test yet.

Make sure you have beta 8695 installed. If you have not updated yet please update to the latest beta first.

Please follow the steps on this FAQ to import those hands to a new test database and if you continue to have problems please send the hands (and screenshots/details of the errors) to us in a support ticket as instructed in that FAQ.

Also send your HM2Logs folder with screenshots and a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing, with a link to this thread and your forum name.

HM2 will NOT be getting support for these new types of hands. All development of new features, tools and game type support will be focused on HM3. We will continue to support HM2 for bug fixes and parser updates until an end of life (“EOL”) date for HM2. We have not yet determined an EOL date for HM2; however, it will remain supported until at least October 15, 2020.

We are working on trying to add support for them in HM3 but it is not a simple task. 2 questions.

Where can you find the option to get the HUD to only show stats when 6 max and only show stats when full ring etc.

Where can you find the option to only show hands when at certain stack depth.
ie when villian is under 20bb, HUD would only show hands played v villian when he is under 20bb etc

In HM2 it is in HUD Settings - 'HUD Filters' and 'Tournament Filters'.

In HM3 this is under HUD - HUD Options - General/General. We have a short video about it here.

thats great thank you.
Is there any way to use this hud but also have option to see all hud stats.
For example villian has 15BB and we get to see his stats from 12-24bb Is it possible for eg to double click on stats and it would then show all stats etc or another way to do this?

quick question

how do I filter for BB calls or folds after any position opens and there are 1 or more cold callers?

i.e. utg opens, btn flats, bb flats

in hm2

edit: think I found it, is it "BB Defend vs Sqzr" ?

No, not in the HUD. You could see that info for that player in the Reports or Opponents views though.

HM2 has a Opponents - Player Analysis - 'Players In Active Session' view that would help you see that info quickly from what I recall, but HM3 does not have this feature yet. If you would like to see this feature in HM3 and be notified when it is added please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link and include "Notify Me When HMT-3581 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

No, only the actual HUD Profiles can be assigned by site. AFAIK it is simply not possible for us to filter HUD data by site as we do not even have an open feature request to try and add it in the future.

To not read all the thread, I would like some fast feedback on HM3 as I would like something faster/better optimized then HM2 which sometimes freezes, or makes my system lag if there are many tables and other programs opened.
How is HM3 in this regard? Is it any faster?
How about the stats compared to HM2+notecaddy which I use atm.. will I have enough in HM3?

That is the stat you want for the situation you described. The stat name is actually a bit odd as it is actually an opportunity to squeeze but the definition shown for that stat in HM3 matches the situation you describe.

HM2 or HM3? Neither should require you to do that but you should always make sure to start HM2/3 before you launch your poker clients as some sites/games require that HM2's HUD has been started before the poker client.

HM2: If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder with screenshots and a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing, with a link to this thread and your forum name.

HM3 has all the same stats as HM2 and many more new stats that have been added since the release of HM3, and many more new stats planned for the future based on customer suggestionsr.

HM3 should generally perform as good as, or better than, HM2. I don't use NC and don't ever test/play more than a few tables at a time but I never have lag or other performance issues personally. All I can suggest is that you give the 14 day trial (we have a 15 day refund period if you choose to purchase) a go and if you have any issues use the 'Send Feedback' system (left sidebar or under Help menu) to report those issues.

NoteCaddy is in public beta testing with many HM3 license owners. You will not be able to test with NC during the HM3 trial. HM3 Apps can only be used if you own a HM3 license. They can not be used if HM3 is in Trial or Free mode.
