There is a bug in the 8635 beta. It was supposed to fix the problems with the HUD on Zoom tables if you had the new Stars beta graphics engine Aurora enabled, but it did not. If you are on any build other than 8629 or 8634:

Please rollback to the previous/latest stable beta version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe

- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock.*
* If you do not see an 'unblock' option you can ignore this step.
- Then, right click the file and run as administrator.

Turn off the PokerStars - Settings - Table Appearance - Table Graphics: [ ] 'Enable the new PokerStars Graphics Engine' option if your poker client has that option.

Once you get 8636+ you should be able to enable Aurora in Stars again hopefully.

IMPORTANT Zoom Installation Instructions:

Make sure you always start HM2 first before you open the PokerStars Client. If you closed PokerStars for any reason and did not close HM2 please close them both and start HM2 before you start PokerStars again.

On the first run, you must start the Hold'em Manager 2 HUD BEFORE you launch PokerStars. If PokerStars is open, you must close PokerStars, start the HUD and then open PokerStars before Zoom HUD will function properly. If the Zoom HUD is not displaying after doing the above, please uninstall PokerStars, rename the associated C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\PokerStars.xx folders. and re-download and install PokerStars as the PokerStars installation is more than likely corrupted and a PokerStars reinstall should resolve the issue.

Please check all of the steps on this FAQ - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rs+Zoom+Tables

If you continue to have problems please tell us which ps.xx skin you play on, what the client/server version numbers are, and send the requested files/screenshots as instructed at the end of the Zoom setup FAQ in the link above.

Tried most of that and nothing seemed to work, and so because I'm a big computer noob I thought I'd uninstall HM2 and reinstall to see if that makes it work. But it seems I've completely ****ed everything up because now I can't connect to the database server.

I just get the red error message when I click retry connection or reset password.

This is usually a firewall or windows update issue and the following guide gives a step by step guide.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing, with a link to this thread and your forum name.

The HM2 beta build with support for WPN v2? It is still not ready for testing or you would have likely received an update prompt or seen me posting about it in here. I do not have an ETA other than 'soon, hopefully'.

We pushed initial WPN v2 support for HM3 late last evening so if you own HM2 you can use HM3 on WPN. You need to make sure you double check all hand history paths and preferred seating options in WPN and HM2 as some things have changed in those areas in the new WPN client and HM2 settings have to be adjusted accordingly.

HM3 Pre-Release beta is now available. Click here to register your HM3 beta now - http://www.holdemmanager.com/hm3/beta.php

- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock.*
* If you do not see an 'unblock' option you can ignore this step.
- Then, right click the file and click 'Install'.

Here are some first time install instructions - https://support.holdemmanager.com/su...tion-and-Setup

If you have any problems with HM3:

Please reproduce the problem and click the 'Send Feedback' button from the left sidebar menu (or from the 'Help' menu at the top), or choose 'Yes' if prompted to submit an error report, and send your logs and config files with a detailed step by step description of the problem that we can use to try and reproduce the problem.

Thanks Fozzy.

Managed to get HEM 3 beta installed and working for WPN.

Two questions:
1) How do I move the HUD for each player? Right clicking and dragging the box didn't move the boxes at all.

2) The "Live Play" section is very glitchy. It wasn't importing hands when I didn't have the HUD running (because the HUD's were blocking player stacks). Also, even with the HUD up, the refresh button wasn't refreshing the graph/# of hands. I had to close out, re-open HEM 3 and click "Start Auto Import" to get the graph to refresh new hands. Even that didn't work sometimes.

Other than that, I am excited for the new software. Feels like a nice upgrade.

We will have a HM2 build out tomorrow I believe. It is working now, we just need to get it signed.

1) By default the HUD components placed on the table are locked in position to avoid accidentally moving the HUD while playing. To move the HUD component boxes to new locations on the table:

Hold the Control key and left mouse button while dragging the HUD components to the new location.

Once they are positioned how you want them you will want to click the HM3 Table 'HUD' icon and 'Save Layout' or 'Lock & Save Layout'.

You can alternatively click the HM3 'HUD' icon and Unlock the HUD to move HUD groups around on the table without the need to hold the control key. This also applies to moving the HM3 Table 'HUD' icon - hold the modifier key to drag it; and also applies when moving mucked cards and board cards. To see the position of all mucked cards, use the HM3 Table 'HUD' icon to enable "Configure Mucked Cards".

p.s. The Graphical HUD does not have a lock on the HUD and it is moved using the right mouse button, like HM2.

2) The Stop/Start HUD button in HM3 is different than in HM2. In HM2 you could start/stop the importing and HUD independent of each other, you can't do that in HM3. The 'Stop HUD' button actually stops the auto importer so if you stop the HUD the live play view can't update as it is no longer importing.

Please edit the Tools - Site Settings - {your site/network name} - Time Zone Adjustment - [x] 'Manual hand time adjustment (in hours)' option so that the time for the hands in the Reports will match your local time if the Auto Detect method did not properly set the offset value.

Both of your suggestions worked. Thank you.

One more thing I noticed (let me know if I should send this somewhere else or just post it here):

HEM 3 isn't calculating the EV for CAP games on WPN correctly. Unlike the v1 WPN software, if you go all-in before the river, the cards are revealed in their new v2 software. This should enable HEM to calculate the EV correctly, since all cards are shown and no losing hands are mucked.

Currently, however, if I win a pot that is capped before the river, HEM is giving me 100% equity regardless of how much equity my hand actually had. The opposite is also true - I'm given 0% equity in any capped pot I lose.

Would really like to get this fixed as I play a lot of PLO CAP.

Thanks again.

This is a beta release for 2.0.0.8644

The purpose of this release is to allow users to get early access to fixes and provide feedback as it would be impossible for our internal team to cover due to the huge amount of different possible PC environments out there. We do recommend you use a new database as a precaution.

Even though we rarely see anything that serious in these betas, and they have gone through some internal testing, they have not completed all our internal tests yet and the chances of a bug are higher than normal.

You can manually download the build here, if you have any issues you can rollback to the last official version here.

Release notes:

Note: Restart of HM2 required after the installation before HUD will work on fast forward tables

Is everyone all-in before the river? If not, and for example you were AI PF and others could act post-flop:

In a hand like this (where a player is all-in preflop but other players are not) net adjusted results are not calculated. When one player is an all-in preflop and other players are not, then they usually have the option to act postflop and this means that sometimes one of them will fold. Having the option to fold after another street is dealt means that in the long run there will be more strong hands which get to showdown and less weak hands. If we were to calculate net adjusted results in hands like this it would introduce a systematic bias (because there will be more known strong hands) so we exclude all hands like this from net adjusted calculations.

If that doesn't apply to the hands you are referring to, please zip and email the problem hand histories and tournament summaries to us using the 'Contact Support' link here - https://support.holdemmanager.com/support/product/1 - for testing. Here is a direct link to your My Tickets page - https://support.holdemmanager.com/user/mytickets/

Make sure you also include screenshots of your reports and a detailed description by tournament number, session, hole cards, stat, etc. of some of the errors we need to test.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM3Archive is in C:\HM3Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: C:\HM3Archive\2016\07\31).

When sending any files please zip them (right-click - send to - compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email.

They should come with the HUD profile. TO use them on other HUDs in HM3 you have to export them and import them from profile to profile.

HM2 Popups can only be imported to HM3 if they are already linked to a HM2 HUD Profile that you import to HM3 from HM2. You can import the HUD and it's popups using the HUD - Import HM2 HUD... menu or by exporting it from the HM2 HUD Designer then importing it to HM3 using the HUD - HUD Editor - Options - Import HM2 Profile menu.

They should import attached to the HUDs you imported. HM3 will not list all available popups as an option to use on any/every HUD like HM2 did. You have to open the HUD - HUD Editor and choose the 'Profile:' that has the popups you want to use on another HUD then click the 'Popup Groups' in the upper right corner. Choose the popup you want to export from the 'Group' list window in on the left then click the 'disk' icon/button to the right of the 'Delete' button and export the popup/group. Then you change the 'Profile:' and repeat the process to import that popup/group to the other profile - https://www.dropbox.com/s/zkbzh9f1xq...mport.mp4?dl=0

No, not yet. NoteCaddy is not yet ready for beta testing in HM3. It is still in private internal alpha testing. That tab in the popup had to be added with a url link (to pokertracker.com) placeholder in preparation for our upcoming release of the HM3/Apps licensing system. Some time after HM3 is released we will announce that NoteCaddy is ready for beta testing and that popup link redirect will be updated to go to the Holdem Manager site instead.

No decision has been made yet about HM Apps licensing for HM3 except for LeakBuster which will not be a part of HM3.

I'm a noob at new stuff like this but I did import my HUD from HM2 for example my profile now says (HM2 IMport) and is working perfectly. However when I hoover over any of the stats it says Player: (my sn) stat: pfr etc this session:. this displays for every stat.
The strange this is, in HUD profile editor. If I click on each stat and look at 'item properties' >popup the correct popup is shown for each stat?

We replaced the hover over popups action with the stat details popup. At this point it is not possible to display the assigned stat specific popup instead of the stat details popup on mouse over. You can only see those popups via clicking. We plan to implement this feature when we redesign the HUD Editor and HUD Options menu systems after our official public beta release.

The assigned internal issue # on this issue is HMT-1361. If you want to be notified when it is added please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link and include "Notify Me When HMT-1361 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.
