Install VC++ 2013 from this link.
- If you have 64 Bit Windows you have to install vcredist_x64.exe and if you have 32 Bit Windows you have to install vcredist_x86.exe. You can check your Windows Control Panel System details if you are not sure which version of Windows you use.

If you continue to have problems:

Please see this FAQ for help in resolving licensing issues:

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing .

Once you have collected/sent the logs roll back to 8536 from this link until we have a chance to review your logs.

Trying to install HM2 on a new machine and keep getting the "Sorry, can't install PostgresSQL" message. I did all the windows updates and tried installing HM2 with firewall off but still didn't work. Please help!

This is a bug in our installer related to our recent server migration. We will get it fixed in our next release. For now you will need to manually install PSQL then install HM2 (w/o PSQL) using our installer.

Try installing PostgreSQL from this link - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/postgres84

Then install HM2 again from the same file you already downloaded and it should install without issue. Once installed you will probably get prompted for a beta update. If you have any problems auto updating open your Windows Task Manager to the Processes tab and right-click - 'End Task' on the Holdem Manager process and click the 'Retry' button on the installer prompt.

Make sure that the Site Time Adjustment is properly configured such that the Time Stamp in the Reports for the hand matches your local windows clock time.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing, with a link to this thread and your forum name.

Same problem, but the software won't even open. I get the same message and it auto-closes before the software starts.

Please send the log files as I instructed in my previous reply. Without seeing the logs I am just taking educated guesses as to the cause and solution.

I was able to fix this by resetting my license and reinstalling to the latest version...Which brings me to my next issue.

I need v8079 for known hole cards on Ignition. I'd like to do a separate install which I've done. My issue is I have to enter my license key every time I switch between the 2 installs. Is there any way around this?

The only thing I can suggest is to install 8079 to a new non-default path. I know some customers would do this in the past but I don't recall if they ever had to register again each time they switch.

Hey im having issues with not seeing hands/not being imported even though it says its finished.

I have read through lots of these posts to try and find the solution but the things I've tried so far have not been successful.

I've followed the link above to download postgre before HEM and get this response:

Problem running postgres install may not complete error.

Then Hem won't install either.

I'm trying to put the trial on my laptop as i'm returning to the game following a break. Any idea on the issues i'm facing.

TIA.

What site/games are the hands from? Are you having manual importing, auto importing, or both?

Please zip/email the problem hand histories and screen shots of the problems, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to us using the 'Contact Support' link.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with 7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD. It is configured in the Site Setup - Auto Import Folders menu.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email.

Please try these steps one of our other techs wrote:
a) uninstall existing Postgresql via Control panel - Programs if it is listed
b) download "Bigsql" 9.4 installer
https://www.openscg.com/bigsql/postg...nstallers.jsp/
c) create a subfolder C:\postgresql\94
d) run it by right click as admin and install in just created C:\postgresql\94
when you will be asked for password - use this
postgrespass
e) also check a mark to install Pgadmin while Setup runs

If you continue to have problems, please duplicate the issue and send us log files with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing:
- Open Windows Event Viewer's (Control Panel - System & Security - Administrative Tools or Start - Search - 'Event Viewer') - Windows Logs - Applications.
- Check for any errors and send the information (Save All Events As...).
- Please send your \HM2Logs folder files as well if possible.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click - send to - compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then right-click - 'copy dropbox link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email. If you have any problems with dropbox try using filedropper.com

Thanks for the update. One of the other techs was asking me yesterday if we had any 'new year's bugs' which I had forgot is sometimes an issue. It sounds like you and AngryDingo both may have had the issue he was asking me about, that I had forgot can sometimes happen.

PostgreSQL can be a real pain to install on some machines and this is the major reason HM3 will not be using PostgreSQL. Please send those logs for your HM2/PSQL issues for us to review and request instructions for how to sign up for the HM3 Beta, and a link to the latest HM3 version. That way we can get you up and running with something that doesn't require PostgreSQL to be installed while we try and find out why PostgreSQL won't install on your machine.

Does the CPU use go back down once it launches? Does it help if you try disabling Note Caddy? Open HUD Settings, make sure you are on the HUD Designer tab, and uncheck "Show Caddy notes in HUD." Restart HM2.

In the HM3 tutorial vid "popup editor explained" you can use show times/opportunities but in the version I'm currently using that isn't an option unless I'm missing it somehow? Here's what I see: https://www.screencast.com/t/0JBaM6u1n1aq
