I had the same problem - suddenly hm2 became so slow that it became unusable. Support was helpful but nothing suggested worked.

What did work was reinstalling hm2 and importing hands freshly coupled with purging half of my db. Purging might not even be necessary.

Works normally now.

hi, when i put Name in the hud it always shows the whole name which makes the hudbox too lengthy
ive seen huds before where the name is abbreviated to first 3 letters or something, i want to do that too, how can i make that happen?

Open the HUD Settings - Stat Appearance menu and select your HUD you want to edit from the upper left preview menu. Select the 'Name' stat from the 'Selected Stat; window then increase the Stat Settings - 'Decimal' drop-down from '0' to '1' or '2; shorten the number of characters allowed to appear for the name.

Is there anyway to automate a one time note creation on wsop from hem stats directly to wsop notes file? Or even to run a query through sql to just gather all screen names-vpip/pfr/3bet and export it to a note file with new lines between each screen name?

No to your first question, and not as far as I know to your second question but I am not adept at SQL.

I read that WSOP.com NJ is joining the player pool with other states (DE/NV) tomorrow that do not allow tracking/HUD software and they will be making changes to their software to stop the importing of hands, which will prevent the use of the HUD at live tables.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I wanted to take the hands I have already played and make notes from there. My db is purely made of my own hands and I in no way would be attempting to use a hud, so I assume if I could just get notes in accessible location it would be easy to manually enter them into wsop. I started looking through my postgres database, and for a novice programmer, its pretty complex to dig through.

Ahh, now your original question makes more sense. I thought you were trying to get those stats into the HUD notes. I am not a programmer and not sure what type of note system wsop uses but I replied to your PM about the HM2 API system and linked you to the thread/document explaining it.

hi this works.
with dec0 it shows normal name
with dec1 it takes the last letter away
with dec2 it shows the first 4 letters

so it isnt possible to show the first 2 or 3 letters?

Decimal = 1 shows 8 characters and Decimal = 2 shows 4 characters. It is not possible to show only 2 or 3 characters.

i have a problem with the 'show mucked cards'

when a hand is mucked in zoom and i want to know what villain had i click on the hand to show the board, my holecards and the mucked cards
on 3 positions this works but on the other ones i see the board, my holecards, but i cannot see villain mucked cards (its possible they are aligned outside the screen or something)

how can i set this up to make sure the mucked cards are hovering over the correct player/position?

They shouldn't be showing at all actually as we do not support mucked cards on fast fold tables since the players at the table will have changed by the time you are reviewing a hand. You need to use the Sessions Report or Active Session view to open the Hand History viewer or Replayer if you want to review cards from a previous hand at a fast fold table.

I know what you meant. They shouldn't be showing when you click the last winners list if you are on a fast-fold table, for the same reasons we don't show them automatically, like on regular tables. That is a bug or oversight by the developers.

How do i backup/export my db/HH all it does is give me a bunch of useless files that have x number like file 01 etc. how can i get it to be compressed into winrar?

Please see this FAQ to transfer/backup data. This will ensure that you have your hand histories and HUD saved to import into a new computer, and as a backup to restore in case of an emergency. I recommend you do this at least once a month and keep the last 2 or 3 most recent backups (and your \HM2Archive folder) stored on an external drive and/or cloud storage site like dropbox or google drive.

You are just exporting hands, none of your settings, player/hand notes, HUDs, etc. Those you would need to manually compress with the Windows right-click menu or something like winrar/7zip. If you backup your database/settings as explained in the link above it will output a compressed .pghembk file.

hi.
when i use the replayer every time the hand gets to the flop the hud switches back to default while i use a custom one.
after i change it it always says 'remember this hud for all times' and i click yes but then each hand when i click next move and flop shows i get the wrong hud again

This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. The assigned internal issue # on this issue is HM-8944

i'm trying to import hands from hm2 and the hm3 is eating all my ram and proccessor.
i5 and 12gb of ram, so it should be fine, i have tried several times but is always the same (some months of difference between each one).

What should i do?

Please exit HM3 and the Server then create a new database: File - New Database then manually import some hands File - Import Folder - from C:\HM2Archive

If the new database works: Can you please backup your HM2 database/settings as explained here.

Then upload the backup file to to a file hosting site like or dropbox, then right-click - 'copy dropbox link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email. If you have any problems with dropbox please try using filedropper or google drive instead.

Please create a support ticket via the Contact Support link to send the download link and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

I have followed the steps and it has not worked. i do have some hands manually imported, but can not sync with my hm2 databas, nor from a backup file of my database

Hi HM support, I had to buy a new computer, can I download HM2 on the new computer and start fresh using my old license code instead of trying to transfer from the old computer? How do I do it? thx

Don't know where to post about HM3 so I will post here bugs I encountered (no specific order):

1. Need to refresh live play tab (hands don't add automatically). If I want to show all hands from live play I have to select all table history first which is very annoying. Selected table history will deselect when I refresh it and I have to select all table history again.

2. PartyPoker PKOs bounties and not counting towards winning. 888Poker re-buys/add-ons not counting towards winning.

3. Re-enties not counting on PartyPoker and 888Poker (Didn't test for PokerStars).

4. Whole HM3 is very slow/laggy, re-player and pop-ups sometimes don't load.

5. Pot odds aren't showing correctly in re-player if bet is larger than other's player stack.

6. Pot odds not showing in re-player in some specific cases e.g. I was being 3-Bet and I folded my hand.

7. Big blinds count sometimes not showing correctly in HUD (showing random number?, no short commited in BB).

Please backup your HM2 database and send it to us in a support ticket as explained in the previous ticket.

For now you will need to use the HM3 database you manually created and import all your hands from your C:\HM2Archive folder (and/or export the hands from HM2's Database Manger, then import those manually to HM3) to that new HM3 database until we can test your HM2 database backup to see why it is not importing directly.

HM3 can not restore a HM2 database backup, it can only import it directly from postgresql.

Yes, simply download the software from our site then enter the same HM2- license you used on the old computer.

The same code can be used on 2 pc's you own at once and can be reset as often as needed. Please try using our site to retrieve and/or reset the code whenever necessary.

If you have any problems activating the software please see this FAQ for help in resolving licensing issues.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.
