There are no plans for a MAC version of HM2 or HM3 at this time. If you want to use HM2 on a MAC you will need to use something like Parallels or BootCamp so you can install Windows for playing poker. If you do not want to use Windows to play poker you could consider trying the MAC version of PT4.

Any way to stop the popup that says "would u like to use this hud for all similar tables?" when switching the hud on a table? (auto selecting no)

I dont really understand who would be ticking yes regularly? Surely you tick yes once, then leave it , otherwise you have to tick yes once, then no a lot.

Unfortunately there is not a way to do that in HM2. HM3 will not have this popup as it will have a different method of setting the current profile as default for similar tables.

Hey guys...

Everytime I review a hand and want to copy it to the clipboard, the little window and eventually the whole HEM freezes.. I gotta click like a million times, minimize it and click other random stuff until it gets copied.. In the meanwhile I also cant copy anything else to the clipboard.

You can't copy to clipboard with any programs or just HM2?

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

I'm using HM2 on BetOnline which requires the BetOnline Card Catcher. I believe the hand histories are converted into PokerStars HH's as that's what my screename is listed under. I'd like to purchase NoteCaddy but you guys limit its functionality as a PS HUD to meet their TOS. If I used it, would it be limited as a BetOnline HUD because the HH's are using the PS format ?

Yes. Most of the various 3rd party converters for unsupported sites/networks have switched to using ipoker's (or other non-stars sites) format for their hands so the HUD and NoteCaddy functions wouldn't be limited like they have to be on stars.

Hi

My F6 - copy previous had - stopped working mid session only in HM2. I tried remapping the F6 key and it works for all apps but not HM2 and now that I have remapped it (restored to default registry settings) back to the original location it does not work at all for any application. It is as though HM2 has stolen it/locked it out.

How can I get it back? Or remap it?

I have never heard of such a problem with HM2 or caused by HM2. Have you tried to disable them in HM2's HUD Settings, restart HM2 and then enable them again and restart HM2 once more?

Also make sure that any other programs that are using them are set to run as admin.

If none of that helps:

1) Start HM2 and Export any custom HUD configs.

2) Close HM2.

3) Please create a backup of your settings and reset your settings as explained here.

4) Restart HM2

5) Manually reset your Site Setup > Seating Preferences > for your site/seats and double check your auto import and archive folders.

Try to reproduce the problem using the default HUD/settings. If it works properly you can try importing your customized HUD again that you exported in step 2 above. If the problem returns after importing your HUD you know it is a problem with your HUD Config and you will need to recreate it from scratch or import an older backup of the HUD.

If that solves your problems please email us the files you backed up in step 1 of this email by following step 2 in this FAQ.

If that did not solve your problems you can restore all of your original settings using the Utilities menu as explained in step 3 of the above FAQ and send us a set of logs. Please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

I probably won't have time to do all that over the weekend but I will get get BA ck to you with results. In the mean time I thought I'd add that it looks like a two part issue:

HM F6 stopped working and then Smart Keys doesn't restore default key map properly. I will work the latter out first.

Whilst I'm doing all this I would prefer to relocate F6 to an easier target key. Is that an issue for HM2? Or should that be do'able? I might as well achieve a benefit from this if it's possible, but not wanting to set off into an impossible mission. I thought

You can not configure the hotkeys in HM2 unfortunately. I have never heard of smart keys so it sounds like it is a possible conflict of some sort. If none of the above helps: Please create a support ticket via the Contact Support link with a detailed description of the problem and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread and we can have our testers look into it.

We will want a log file at a minimum: please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

Hi,

A few questions, please.

1. I have just set WPN and I’m receiving stats in the ‘Overall’ report but no stats are showing up in the reports ‘Tournament Stats’ or ‘Tournaments’. They are being tagged and the date is there but everything stat in the report is zero.

2. When I filter for tournaments for ‘Players greater than 30’ the above reports are not registered but they certainly are greater than 30.

3. On WPN I had to use a different name compared to my other sites. When running reports for my performance can I combine the two names to get an overall performance?

4. Some of my stats are wrong. For eg. In February I have been credited with a finish that I never had and all of the stats that go with it. Can I rectify this?

1 - Those tournament reports are completely blank?

Please delete everything in:

Win Vista/7/8: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Re ports and \Filters
Windows XP: C:\documents and settings\username\application data\HoldemManager\Reports and \Filters

Restart HM2 and the issue should be resolved.

If you continue to have problems with them not showing in the Tournaments Report so the results can be edited then filtered please zip and email the problem hand histories and tournament summaries to us, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to us using the 'Contact Support' link.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth e.g C:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31 or if it was auto-imported with v7283+ it would be in C:\HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email.

2 - Do hands show in the overall report? If not it is probably because WPN does not write tournament summary files and the fact you can't see them for your first problem to edit in the proper results (finish, size, buyin, winnings, etc). See my reply below for #4.

3 - Click the Hero menu > Edit Aliases. We have another FAQ for Aliases here.

4 - Any tournament with more than 1 table (and some single table games) will require a separate Tournament Summary/History file to be imported for HM2 to properly calculate the size, places, and prizes. Without this information it is impossible for HM2 to work out the correct results. The only sites that currently write these summary files that we support right now is Pokerstars, Full Tilt, and Pacific. If your site does not write summaries, or you experience any discrepancies with the results, you will need to manually edit the results via the Reports > Tournament > Tournaments > right-click > edit - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rnament+Editor

Is it possible to have versions of Holdem Manager simulataneously installed on the same PC?

For example, I'd like to have the most latest version installed for all of my general needs as well as the older version that works with Ignition's exposed hole cards.

If you still want to use 8079 when playing at Ignition and the latest version of HM2 when playing at your other site(s) you will want to install the 2 versions to 2 different folders. The easiest way to do this so you can keep your non-Ignition version updated with the latest releases is to update HM2 in the default folder then install 8079 to a custom path and create a 2nd desktop shortcut to point to that 2nd installation.

- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock.*

Install that to a custom path of your choosing, open the new installation folder's \Holdem Manager 2\ folder and right-click HoldemManager.exe > send to > 'Desktop (create shortcut)' option and rename the new desktop to something like 'HM2 8079'.

You will not be able to run both installations at the same time or play both sites at the same time.

Hi,

I am trying to load HM2 and getting an error message saying 'valid license code not found'. I had this before and typed my license cod in but ended up losing stats and HUD settings, so I don't want to do that again!

That should never cause you to lose those things unless you also had postgresql and/or other issues as well.

Please see this FAQ for help in resolving licensing issues.

Hi,

Ever since last PS update, myself and a few friends have been having issues with hm2 not tracking all zoom hands. Functionality is as usual except some hands are missing and not tracked. Manually importing hands from PS seems to work but it doesn't automatically track all hands, any ideas?

Apologies if this has been addressed but I couldn't find any answers over the last couple of pages.

For clarification: Are you saying you are importing them manually from the archive folder or are you requesting them from stars support to import?

We have seen reports of this for larger sized multiplier games in spins and zoom. According to what has been reported so far the hands are not being written by stars and you have to request them from stars to import manually so we had thought it was a stars client issue and not an HM2 issue but you have me second guessing that assumption now.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I am requesting HH's from stars, DL'ing them and then manually importing them into hm2 (in order to get accurate results). There seems to be issues with the automatic import/tracking (6m NLH zoom) since the latest update.

The problem is with the stars client. It is not writing them for all games. Zoom it writes some but not all. Spins with big multipliers it doesn't write any. If you try importing the original files manually from the stars HH folder or the HM2Archive folder and no hands get imported then they don't exist and it is a bug that stars needs to address. We can't import anything if they don't write it during live play.

If you can dupe an issue where hands don't get auto imported when playing live, then you manually import those same files (not the ones you request from stars) and hands get imported then it would be an issue with HM2 we need to address and we would want you to send us the hands for testing.

At this point it sounds like an issue that you and others need to report to stars. Chances are you will have to be persistent and explain yourself clearly multiple times as their first level responders often start by blaming us.

Yes, that is what it appears to be from what I have gathered but I am not sure if any of our testers have had the time to duplicate the problem for me to say it is definitely on the stars side of things. I have also not seen where stars has confirmed it is an issue on their end but everything I am seeing points to them not writing some of the zoom hands (or not writing the files at all in 6x+ spins). If they don't write the hands/files for some reason there is nothing we can do on our end and customers will have to request the hands to manually import after the sessions and report the issue to the stars support.
