If they import fine for someone else then your database or postgresql installation is likely corrupted/damaged.

Please note that reinstalling PostgreSQL will mean losing all your old data.

Please see this FAQ to transfer/backup data. This will ensure that you have your hand histories and HUD saved to import into a new computer, and as a backup to restore in case of an emergency. I recommend you do this at least once a month and keep the last 2 or 3 most recent backups (and your \HM2Archive folder) stored on an external drive and/or cloud storage site like dropbox or google drive.

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.

2) Delete the \PostgreSQL\X.x\data folder that is left behind.

3) Delete the sub-folder(s) in c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\HoldemManager\Da tabase (XP - c:\documents and settings\username\application data\HoldemManager\Database).

4) run the command - start > programs > accessories > command prompt > right-click > run as administrator

net user postgres /delete

After you click 'Enter' for the code above also do that same for this code:

sc delete postgresql-8.4

and click 'Enter' again.

5) Restart your PC

6) Install PostgreSQL 9.4 from here.

7) Once installed you should disable the postgresql logging as instructed here.

If there is still an issue, we need to know the error - it is in the temp folder - bitrockinstaller.txt file. If you can't see it, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory.

Fozzy71, please help. I cannot setup notecaddy. both sides of the "notecaddy popups" tab from the "hud settings" are blank. so I cannot add or remove anything at all. Could you please tell me how to enable notecaddy? I have purchased the notecaddy premium version. thanks a lot.

never mind. I found the HUD Designer -> show notecaddy, and it works.

Not at this time. There are a few known issues with them:
  • HM-8776: WPN Jackpots HUD does not work properly on multiple tables
  • HM-8672: WPN jackpot SNG's show as freerolls
  • HM-8683: Jackpot SNG Tagging (affects multiple networks)

The numbers I got using what I called the Fold to Flop C-bet stat didn't look right. It turns out that I wasn't using the correct stat. Now I have the correct stat, Flop Fold to C-Bet, but I can't delete the incorrect one, Flop Cbet-Fold.

I have the display open and in the HUD Designer i have the incorrect stat highlighted. When I check the Delete box, I get the following pop-up message: "You can not delete the default configuration.

I don't understand this. Since I picked my own stats, how is this the default configuration? Is there a way to construct a HUD display without choosing a configuration?

You are trying to delete the entire active 'default 2.0 hud' config/layout when you use the 'delete' button. Select the stat you want to remove from the hud config/layout and use the right arrow below the stat as highlighted in the image below to 'remove stat' from the layout, instead of the 'Delete HUD' button. This will send the selected stat from the left hand window showing your layout back to the right window that lists the available stats. You can see the difference in these buttons if you hover your mouse over the button/arrow for the tool tip to activate and explain the button further.

One more question. I've been experimenting with opening 50% of my hands from the button. It's important to me to know when the blinds will let me get away with that.

I was looking for a stat that says something like:

SB (or BB) Fold to Button Open.

I found:

BB defend vs. Raiser
SB defend vs. Raiser

I'm not sure if that's what I'm looking for. Would these only count if I raised from the button, or would they take into account other scenarios, for example:

EP limps.
It folds around to me and I raise from cutoff.
It folds around to the blinds.

Those 2 stats you mention (that I bolded) are in the 'vs 1 Raiser' category and don't specify which position the raiser is so they could be in any position. Try these stats in the 'vs Steal' category:
  • SB Fold to BTN Steal
  • BB Fold to BTN Steal

Those should do what you want I believe.

I play 18man SNG's, but when I go to the reports section to check my results it shows 2 different categories. HM2 basically divides the 18mans into an MTT and STT tournament and shows 2 different results. (I have played only 18mans since installing HM2 on my new lap-top)

Also, does HM2 work for play money games?

Which site or sites are you experiencing this issue with?

Any tournament with more than 1 table (and some single table games) will require a separate Tournament Summary/History file to be imported for HM2 to properly calculate the size, places, and prizes. Without this information it is impossible for HM2 to work out the correct results. The only sites that currently write these summary files that we support right now is Pokerstars, Full Tilt, and Pacific. If your site does not write summaries, or you experience any discrepancies with the results, you will need to manually edit the results via the Reports > Tournament > Tournaments > right-click > edit - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rnament+Editor

If you continue to have problems please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to us using the 'Contact Support' link.

I am having issues with HH's from Coral.

Seems like all (or most) hands are imported, but the very last hand of the tournament isn't, so my results are not accurate at all. I am guessing the problem is on Coral's side, not HEM.

Anyone experienced any similar issues? I have tried multiple times to reinstall Coral (and right clicking on the setup file -> run as administrator).

Other sites works without any issues.

I play husng's and I am using Windows 10.

edit: Forgot to add that I have tried playing with and without HEM/auto import on, but still the same.

First make a copy of your recent HM2Archive folder for today or this month to your desktop. All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with 7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.

Please try to retrieve the tournament history manually from the ipoker client as shown in this FAQ to see if it corrects the missing hand and results.

If that doesn't help please create a support ticket via the Contact Support link and send us the backup copy of your HM2Archive you made before attempting that, and a copy of it after updating via the client, and zip/attach both, with a link to this thread and your forum name.

I followed the guide and just shift+clicked all of the 18mans in the tournaments section that I've played since installing HM2 on my new lap top and set them to "two tables" and it just worked... If it however HM2 separates them in the future I will write a ticket as you suggested

One more question that I didn't include in my last post: My F9 hotkey for saving hands doesn't work. Can this be because my lap top uses it for some function on it's own? If so how can I go past it because I really need to save my hands. (I didn't have this problem on my old lap top)

I haven't searched our open tickets but this may be an open tournament detection issue we are aware of. Sending us the HH/TS files will ensure it is documented and you are added to the ticket.

Is this a stars hotkey or one of the HM2 > HUD Settings > Hotkeys option you are referring to? The HM2 Hotkeys F9 function is for marking hands so I assume you are referring to a pokerstars hotkey.

Please close HM2 and Poker Stars then go to C:\Program Files\PokerStars (Program Files (x86) for the 64bit version) and right click the PokerStars.exe and choose “Properties”.

In the Compatibility Tab, select “Run this program as an Administrator”. If this option is greyed out it is because the UAC is disabled and you are already running as admin so there is no need to change anything.

Please repeat those steps for PokerStarsUpdate.exe in the same folder.

Please see this FAQ for further detailed instructions how to do these steps and make sure Holdem Manager has them done also.

Note, if you are running Windows 8 compatibility tab is most likely not available for PokerStarsUpdate.exe so alternate steps are: right-click, "Troubleshoot compatibility", click "Troubleshoot program", choose 3rd option "The program requires additional permissions, click next, click "Test program" (PokerStars should run), click next, click "Yes, save these settings for this program".

Nope, I just recalled this is a known issue:

HM-8042: Marking hands via hotkey, then restarting, the hands are not marked in the DB

There is a workaround that seems to work:

'After your session you could try going to the Reports > Sessions report and enable the [x] Marked Hands filter above the Hands View grid and then change the mark or add a second mark to the hands you marked during the session and hopefully they will not be forgotten that way.'

Just got a pop-up saying that my license doesn't support some hands in the "importer". Is this just referring to the fact that I have some Omaha hands in my database and don't have Omaha manager or is referring to something else from my current sessions.

It would most likely be the Omaha hands, or if you have a small stakes license and played some higher stakes hands/tournaments. You can disable the warning in the HM2 > Options > Settings > General Settings > Miscellaneous menu by enabling the [x] 'Hide importer licensing restrictions' option and clicking 'Close'.

I am not sure if any of them were designed specifically for those hyper sng's (I assume some were) but there are lots of free HUDs you can try in our HUD Repository.

Update: I tried everything, I reinstalled PC the import worked UNTIL i imported the last databse i used, then the problem came back. I have no idea why.
