HM2 works fine, except:

When I minimize HM2 sometimes it will disappear from the taskbar, it will still be running in the background but the only way to make it appear back to wear it opened is to start Task manager and double click it under "Processes"

Is your Settings > General Settings > Miscellaneous > [x] 'Minimize to Task Tray' option enabled? Try toggling that option off and see if it stops what you are seeing.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

Please zip and email the requested files via the 'Contact Support' link here and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and AntiVirus are you using?

One of our techs just suggested it could possibly be related to .net framework:

Sorry for triple posting, one of our other techs that just got online said he was aware of this issue:

Close HM2, open your %localappdata% folder in Windows/File Explorer and delete the \Hold'em_Manager folder.

i can not get the pop up to take notes on. i will click it and if i hover over the icon on the task bar itll show it there on the pop up, but i can click on it and bring it up. ive downloaded newest update.

where do i go from here to solve this?

The color can not be widened. Your HUD is semi-transparent so you would need to increase the opacity to make it look more like the first screen shot, which will make the background color of the panel more opaque also: hud settings > general settings > hud font > HUD Opacity slider and/or click the 'Background' color square and there is another Opacity slider.

You could also try using a transparent background panel color (A:10 R:0 G:0 B:0) and picking a darker black table background color in your poker site theme controls.

I think this is your problem and not how "wide" the line is...

1) Export any custom HUD configs.
2) Open the HM2 > HUD Settings > HUD Designer menu > Click 'Reset' > [x] All Configs > OK
3) Manually reset your Site Setup > Seating Preferences > for your site/seats and any other HUD Settings you had personalized.

Try to reproduce the problem using the default HUD/settings. If it works properly you can try importing your customized HUD again. If the problem returns after importing the custom HUD then you know that config is corrupted and you will need to delete it and rebuild it from scratch or import an older backup of that HUD config that was created before the corruption.

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' and 'FastPoker' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu.

- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue, if all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

stupid question, but where did the seat settings go? ive been playing like for like 2 years so ive been on a hiatus.

it came up as Headsup/none, so i dont know if i have any more resetting of my settings to do

if not the problem persists...i shall try again

I do not have an estimate for when the scanner issues will be resolved. We do not give estimates until it has been confirmed as fixed by our internal testers and the release is imminent.

They were moved to the new(ish) Site Setup menu in the main ribbon bar/menu.

To be completely honest, even though I know what they are supposed to do I also forget and I have been using HM2 for 6 years or so. I actually think there is also a bug (at least on WPN) where it sometimes goes the wrong direction the first click then starts going the right direction. I will make sure that HM3 is more clear if it has a similar feature.

I'm running HM2 and I can't get a HUD to come up on the tournament table, but it's running fine on the cash games. It just says "waiting for hands". I've checked the folder in which the HHs are being saved, and the tourney histories are there.
