The hudstats feature logging shouldn't actually fix any problems, it just enables more detailed logging so we can better see possible causes of the problems you are experiencing when you send us the requested log files.

I have 2 different 64 bit Win 7 machines that I have installed HM2/PSQL in multiple times over the past 5 years and never had an issue with either. Is this a Win 8 or 8.1 specific issue? I have forwarded your posts/links to our remote support team members since they would have more experience with possible install issues on different systems. If there is a problem we definitely want to address it when we make our planned setup file update later this year to replace PSQL 8.4.x with a 9.x.x version.

the problem encountered on zoom fault executable HM2Setup !!!

being installed on 64bit does not install postgres folder C:\Program Files (x86)\
but in C:
this is not good for software 32bit !!!

all version w7 w8 w8.1

all 64-bit systems must be installed in postgres
C: \ Program Files (x86) \

the current file setup hm, since only the possibility for hm2 select the installation folder and
does not give it to postgres !!!
the setup file at installation installs postgres in: C
is this is a bug
not good for 64-bit systems !!!
the actual executable must be renamed to 32bit !!!
you'll have to issue a 64-bit
where there is the possibility for
postgres to select the folder

this applies to all versions of Windows 64-bit
windows 7 windows 8 windows 8.1

any software for 32-bit must be installed in C: \ Program Files (x86) \

in all 64-bit systems compulsorily

I am not a programmer so you need to explain in detail why the programs need to be installed there. Can you link to some sort of documentation about this? Once I have more information explaining why I can discuss it in detail with the developers and they can address it when we update the installer's PSQL version next time.

We made a conscious decision to remove the option from the customer for picking a path for \postgresql and it's \data folder to simplify things for customers. Most do not know what PostgreSQL is so it makes things easier for the vast majority of customers. I doubt we will add that option back when we update the included postgresql version but if there is sound reasoning why it should be installed to \program files then we can certainly address that issue.

What are talking about exactly? If an application is identified as a 32bit app it gets WOW emulated automatically even of it's not in Program files x86.

I purged my cash hands and my tournament hands disappeared too. Why?

Somehow there are 700000+ hands preloading. What are those, since I have no hands in my database?

When I select a new data period, it takes a minute or so to load, but there are only a handful of results. Why so slow?

The number of tournaments seems to change each time I load HM2. That is, if I select a certain date, I will get all results sometimes and various other numbers other times. I'm not changing any settings or anything. Why can't I just see my results in full each time?

Hi, I need advice. (sorry for english - google translator)
All of a sudden stopped working for me today at my HEM (version: 1,12,09) HUD on both PS and on Winamaxu (SNG, MTT)
When I've played some older SNG Replayer in the HEM and HUD starts up, but when I play so nothing.
Folder where you import your hands is the same. In Table manager sees all the tables but nowhere HUD.

I peered into the folder that holds your hand and PS I did ingredient for February (02), and it gave me a hand to the folder with my nick and winamaxu normally see in a folder HH.

Does anyone know what to do?

I am having a problem with my HEM2 and its tournament tracking. It is getting both incorrect stakes and incorrect winnings. My results has me down over 6k since I started using HEM2, and this is very incorrect. What do I need to do to get it to track results properly?

It sounds like something went wrong with the purge process.

Please try to vacuum/analyze and reindex your database - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...29#maintenance

If you continue to have problems, try the following:
Try creating a new DataBase and import a small portion of your \HM2Archive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...y+played+hands

If the new database seems to work properly, it sounds like your database might be corrupt. This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary.

Here is a FAQ explaining how to backup your database and all settings in one easy step - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...onfigs+work%3F

I'm really sorry and I know there is nothing more frustrating than having issues like this when trying to play. I hope i can help you resolve this quickly.

Have you performed a full maintenance on your database recently?

What is your hard drive model, RAM and CPU? You can find this in your Control Panel - System - Device Manager. Sometimes lower spec PC's can contribute to lagging but that is not to say we can't still improve it further.

Are you running Notecaddy also and do you have many definitions or use any of the NC Edge or NC Advantage packages? Those can also have an impact on large database with large definitions. If you do I would suggest reading this thread which will help improve the performance when using NC.

In the meantime while you reply with those details I have a couple of things you can try that will improve the performance of your PC in general and may help if this scanning is the cause of the issues your seeing.

Please check these 2 FAQs and try all the steps there to see if they help:
- This FAQ resolves issues where security software continually try to scan files and processes which can slow down your PC
- This FAQ has general tips and solutions for performance issues

A few other things you could try to see if it helps when playing:
- Does it help you disable the Options > Settings > General Settings > Miscellaneous > [ ] 'Automatically Refresh' option and restart HM2?
- Try leaving HM2 on the 'Home' tab when playing.
- Try picking a villain in the reports that only has a few hands in your database instead of your hero and restart HM2.
- Try creating a new smaller database with just hands from the past 1 or 2 months to use when playing.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing. Email this file to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread and your forum name.

The only problem I am aware of are issues when the tables are short-handed where the HUD doesn't update properly during those hands.

Please check all of the steps on this FAQ - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Forward+Tables

If you continue to have problems please send the requested files/screenshots as instructed at the end of the FAQ in the link above.

Please update to the latest/final version 1.14.02 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...se_1.14.02.exe

We stopped selling HM1 licenses when HM2 was released in November of 2011. We stopped updating for critical bugs and providing support for HM1 at the end of April 2014 - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...mmon+Questions

If you continue to have problems there is nothing else we can do since we no longer support this software so you should consider trying HM2. If you have not tried it recently you should be able to install the latest update and activate a new 30 day trial. If you have any problems with the trial let us know and we can extend the trial for you manually.

Which site or sites are you experiencing this issue with?

Any tournament with more than 1 table (and some single table games) will require a separate Tournament Summary/History file to be imported for HM2 to properly calculate the size, places, and prizes. Without this information it is impossible for HM2 to work out the correct results. The only sites that currently write these summary files that we support right now is Pokerstars, Full Tilt, and Pacific. If your site does not write summaries, or you experience any discrepancies with the results, you will need to manually edit the results via the Reports > Tournament > Tournaments > right-click > edit - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rnament+Editor

If you continue to have problems even after importing the summary files, please zip and email the problem hand histories and tournament summaries. All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have changed the default. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth e.g C:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with v7283+ it would be in C:\HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\DD\MM.

I am not a hardware expert like some of the other guys on our team but that CPU seems rather slow. We generally recommend an i5 or i7 CPU.

What type/speed of a hard drive do you have? HDD (5400 or 7200 rpm?) or a SSD? I am guessing it is a HDD since that CPU is for NoteBooks, and most laptops have the slower 5400rpm HDDs (my $800 laptop I bought 2 years ago only has a 5400rpm drive).

The HDD/SSD is generally the biggest bottleneck in a system. If you do in fact have a 5400rpm HDD in combination with that i3 CPU and are considering a hardware upgrade you would get the most improvement from replacing the HDD with a SSD (I would suggest at least 256gb if you are considering it).

Are you referring to the BetCoin skin? Are the tables/chips in bitcoin or dollars? Or do they use their own method of changing the bitcoins to a certain number of chips like SWC?

Or are you referring to just adding report stats like we have for USD/EUR/GBP and linking it with the Currency Exchange Rates? I am not sure how likely this is to happen but if you can explain in detail what you are after exactly I can discuss it with management and see if we want to write it up for future consideration.

The BetCoin skin, yes. They use BTC as their currency.

The HM2 table tracking for tournaments (which are in USD) works, but is flaky as hell compared to on ACR. It doesn't pick up on table changes at all, and I always have to use the table chooser to link sessions to tables, but at least it works once I do that.

In cash games, however, there is no way for me to see my history. Player tracking happens, but the data never gets parsed properly. Reports/Active Session for cash games reports no data. I do see other player stats on the HUD but that's the only time I can see anything about Cash games - no history access at all.

This is the first I think someone has mentioned this skin and these issues in this thread but I have seen a few issues reported for the skin in the PT4 thread. I will take a look at creating an account and depositing there next time I buy some BTC to get a better feel for how it works but it would be helpful if you could do the following for both a tourney and cash game:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ging#startmenu

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Use the tool in the following link to send a HUD Report - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Reporting+Tool
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and zip/attach your \HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

Please zip and email the requested files to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.
