Is it possible to display a window showing the bb/100 when we go see our graph in hm2 ? i think it was by default in hm1...

Hi Fozzy,

Appreciate the fast response. My database was apparently corrupt which is why they weren't loading. The issue seems to be fixed now.

Will I be able to use the old database again, or do I have to start on a new one for good?

Im using PT4 and want to run HEM2 on the same computer.

Is this possible?
HEM setup wizard "start service" button is not available, I cant reset the password either.

Thank you. I completely understand about partnership rules. I don't even use a HUD when I play which is probably why I lose but, that's another story. But You're definitely not helping me violate any rules. Also, I only play at Bovada so I think we're safe on the partnerships. But I'll see what I can do with my very average computer. Thanks again. Are you looking for a second/separate line to be shown on the same graph or do you just want to see the line by big blinds instead of currency? Try clicking the Options window in the lower left corner and for Y-Axis choose [x] Big blinds instead of Winnings.

You will have to use the new database. You can import all the originally auto-imported hands from your \HM2Archive folder. If there were any hands in the other database that were not archived for some reason (manually imported hands don't get archive) you should still be able to export the hands from the corrupt database.

If you had player/hand notes in the corrupted database you might still be able to Backup just the [x] Player Notes and [x] Hand Notes and [x] Skip Database so that you can then Restore them to the new database the same way making sure to [x] Skip Database instead of the default of Overwrite.


This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary.

PT's default name/password is - postgres/dbpass
You might also want to try svcPASS83

If that doesnt help:

1. Go to C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.x\data, move the the pg_hba file to your Desktop and open it with notepad.
2. Scroll to the bottom and change all md5 to trust. Save and close the file
3. Move the file back to the data folder
4. Restart the PostgreSQL service: Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services

HM will accept any password now.

If you are going to run both at the same time and auto import with both we recommend you disable the archiving in one of the programs so they are not fighting over which program gets to archive the original hands.

It sounds like you should be fine since you are just using this database for research. As long as you have 4+ (ideally 8+) GB of RAM you should be able to do it but things may get a bit slow when trying to load 4 million hands to one alias and filter that data. If things do get a bit slow you can try editing/disabling the dynamic ram cap so that HM2 will use less RAM when loading the hands to memory - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/gene...hands-cap.html

It is not possible in HM2. You will need to get that information from the other Reports.

The Cash Results Graph does have a small information window that shows when hovering over the graph lines that shows your current hand number, the all-in ev number and the net won at that point (but it is a bit buggy and the hand number isn't updating properly right now).

The only thing similar to that PT3 pic you showed for the Tournament side of things will be in the other miscellaneous Tournament reports if you click the Trophy icon:

I have a new laptop where I want to install HEM 2. I was previously using HEM 1 and have an import of my database (*.hembk file). Is there anything special I need to do to import this to HEM 2, or does it read the same type of files?

Im not so worried about hud/general settings, just that the hands (and slightly less important trny summaries) will be imported. Can I just install HEM 2 and import this db?

You can not import/restore that file directly to HM2. You will need to install HM1 and restore that database backup to HM1. Then you can go to the Database > Import tab and import your HM1 database to HM2. Some customers occasionally have issues with the accuracy of these direct database imports but it is the best way to try and get your HM1 database to HM2 if you had player notes and/or manually edited tournament results in your HM1 database.

You can also just manually import the original hand history and tournament summary files to HM2 but this will not account for any HM1 tournament results that you manually edited like it will if you import the database directly to HM2.

This is usually because the HUD Settings > Site Options tab is improperly configured for one or more of your HUD layouts and/or you are not selecting the proper HUD from the Choose Configuration: drop-down menu. The Default HUD should be set to a site you never play, and make sure none of the other layouts have conflicting rules. Any time HM isn't sure which HUD to use, it will revert to the Default HUD (even if it is set to a site you never play).

The easiest way to do this is to open 1 table and wait for the default HUD to appear. Click the Settings menu that appears at the top of the table, choose the preferred HUD from the drop-down menu and then click the Use for all similar tables button.

Can you send us a sample of PLO MTT and SNGs for testing so we can duplicate and document this? I just tested this with my mediocre sample of PLO8 games from Cake and it works as expected for me. having an issue with my license code after a re install, it says there is no valid product code even after resetting the profile on the website. (HEM 1). I have PM'd you my product code and the e-mail address I used to also send my query to the regular support guys.

If you could take a look at it I would be very appreciative, because my free trial is nearly up and I need it to play. Thanks!

I replied to your email:

I have reset your serial code so please try entering it again.

If you continue to have registration issues, please send your updated Reg.log file from the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs folder. If your Windows is hiding known file extensions the file will simply be called 'reg'.


We need the log file to understand what is causing the problems.

If you recently updated to windows 8.1 you can use the following steps to solve the problem:

1. Shutdown Hold'em Manager and Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa..._10Oct2013.exe
2. Navigate to your RVG Software/Holdem Manager/Config folder
3. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug
4. Restart Hold'em Manager

You should hopefully be able to enter your code now. Once you have done this close Hold'em Manager, delete the LicDebug file and restart Hold'em Manager.

If you continue to have registration issues, please send your Reg.log file from the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs folder. If your Windows is hiding known file extensions the file will simply be called 'reg'.
