Hi, for some reason HEM2 stopped working properly in the middle of the session. It was still showing correct stats for some people I think (but not sure) but not for others. Could have also been the case that it stopped updating. Did restart it but the problem persisted.

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' option

Please reproduce the problem and attach:
- a screen shot of the table/desktop
- a hand history for the table
- a screenshot of the Active Sessions tab
- and your log.txt file with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F
- If you can't see it, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory. http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...es+in+Windows+

Please zip and email the requested files to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread and your forum name.

I play on a few sites, including blaze hu on micro gaming, I know hm doesn't support that so I filter them results out. But I sometimes unfilter them just to see how many hands I have played for the day. Would the number of hands be correct or does the non showdown hh(or whatever the problem is) mean the number in my hm will actually be less hands than the real number?

thanks

They do not write all of the hands so the number of hands will be less than it should. I have actually suggested to our developers that since they don't write all the hands, and we can't properly track them as a result of this limitation in the poker client software, that we should not allow any of the hands to be imported. Inaccurate results are of no use to the customers and this causes a lot of questions from customers and wasted time our end answering the same questions all the time.

If Full Tilt won't update properly you will need to discuss that with their tech support. The only thing I can suggest would be that you try to uninstall full tilt and download/install it again.

Pokerstars Zoom Games: HUD Not Working - We are aware there is an issue with the Zoom HUD not working on the .EU sites after an update by Pokerstars. This was out of our control and we did not have any advance notice of this update but we are working to fix the issue as soon as possible and well have a beta version out with a fix as soon as we can. Apologies for the inconvenience.

See this post for workaround instructions if it affects you.

Copy all your files from C:/Program Files(x86)/PokerStars.EU/backup/
to C:/Program Files(x86)/PokerStars.EU
and run Pokerstars client directly from PokerStars.exe file as admin (when you use the link from the desktop it launches Pokerstarsupdate.exe before).
p.s. I will be offline Wednesday and Thursday for a family emergency so response times may be slower than usual as udbrky and the others will have their hands full as a result and might not be able to check in on this thread as often as I normally do when I am online. If you have an urgent issue please try using our new Priority Support Tool for an email response.

netsrak is the black sheep (or panda?) of the HM family.

Most of us on the team use Microsoft Security Essentials. I have been using it on multiple computers since it came out 3 or 4 years ago without any issues and my desktop is on pretty much 24/7.

When filtering by actions the "or" option doesn't work between different types of actions. For example I am allowed to filter for check call or check raise, but I can't filter for check call or call. I've found I can edit the filter files in notepad to workaround the problem but it would be much nicer to do it in the program.

Is there a way to do it that I'm missing? And if there isn't I'd like to submit a suggestion that this feature should be added.

This is a known issue and it has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. Unfortunately this a fairly large project due to the nature of the current filter UI so I don't have an ETA for when/if this might get improved. For now you will need to edit the .filter files manually.

The previously assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HM-6686: AND/OR Filter Functions Groups Everything As AND/OR

If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email to support@holdemmanager.com and include "Notify Me When HM-6686 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

If you do send an email could you send an example of an original .filter file and an edited file so we can attach them to the ticket for reference?

I just updated HM2 to the latest Beta and now my recent pots hud stat has gone?

Edit: Ok it turns out hands are not auto importing from Boyle iPoker.
I manually imported the subfolder and it imported them fine, but not doing it automatically during game?

Was fine until I updated today.

Fozzy

I sometimes save a load of hand histories to a word document using the 'copy with stats' option. The resultant hand histories just list the players by their seat, I.e. seat 1: player 1

Would it be possible to change this so that it gives the actual player names? It would make reviewing hands much easier when I don't have access to hem ( when I'm at work )

Thanks

This is either a bad database, postgresql installation, or windows user account.

1) Please create a new database.

1) Click the database name in the bottom right corner (2nd in)

2) Click the green + sign

3) Name it, click ok.

4) Import the hands from c:\hm2archive

2) Please download the same version of postgresql that you have now from http://www.enterprisedb.com/products...wnload#windows. Uninstall yours, and install this update.

3) - If your windows user name has any unique 'cyrillic characters' you may need to create a new windows user with a single EN-US name without any special characters.
- Uninstall HM2 (and HM1 if it is installed)
- Create a new windows user in the Control Panel > User Accounts. Make sure it is an Administrator account and has no unique characters in the name (only characters from EN Alphabet)
- Reboot the PC
- Log in to the new windows user account

- Now Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\ Holdem Manager 2.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\ Holdem Manager 2.lic)*
- Reinstall HM2 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...er_2_Setup.exe
- and try to register again.
- If that works, you can reboot, log in to your normal user, and test to make sure everything works before you delete the temporary user.

*You will need to show system and hidden files. See this tutorial for showing system and hidden files:

What method are you using to export/save the hand histories? Is this 1 or 2? I do not recall which you use, so please let us know every time.

Thanks will do it now, but curious, is it a bug due to the new beta update or what?

So I just did everything you said and it's still not auto importing hands from Boyle Ipoker. Importing manually working fine...
Only happened since I installed the new beta update from the prompt I got loading up HM2.

It shouldn't be. What security software are you using? I have a theory that a recent Microsoft update has been messing with windows user accounts. In the last 45 days, I've seen a lot of issues with user accounts. Also, Windows 8 is horrible for permissions and windows user accounts. If you do an update install, it's guaranteed Postgres won't work, and you have to jump through hoops.

Please zip and email the original hand history and tournament summaries (for Stars, FTP, and Pacific) files from c:/hmarchive and/or c:\hm2archive

files are zipped by right clicking - send to - compressed folder

For multiple files, copy to a folder, then zip them.

to support@holdemmanager.com with a link to your post.

Done.

Just to let you know that I rolled back to the previous beta (7822) and the hands are auto importing fine now, so it's definitely an issue with the new beta.

Hi!
A while back I checked some box that I didnīt want to be alerted when there was a beta-update.
Now Iīm really hungry for the upcoming beta (zoom-fix).
But I canīt find the box to un-check it.
Feel like a bit of an idiot...
