Any new mid-range computer should be sufficient to run HM2. I would recommend you get as much computer as you can afford so that it will last as long as possible. I am no expert in regards to hardware so I would recommend you ask your questions in this thread on our forums where our hardware specialist Patvs can reply in detail when he has time -

I personally have a 3 year old desktop with a Ci7-920 and 9gb RAM that I paid $1,000 for that runs the software fine. A year after I bought the computer I put a 160gb Intel SSD in it and installed W7 to replace Vista so I could have faster reboots, faster application launch, and faster HM1/2 importing speeds since I do a lot of database testing and I couldn't be happier with that upgrade even though it cost me another $650+. I have no doubts the computer will last me another 2-3 years or more.
I also bought a new laptop this spring with an i7-2670QM, 8gb RAM, and 5400rpm HDD for ~$800 and it also runs the software fine. It obviously imports hands slower than the SSD but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a laptop since I spend most of my time on the desktop. I have no problems using the software or playing poker on the laptop although to be honest I rarely play more than 4 tables on the laptop because of the 17" screen and trackpad limit me.
