This is on Lock with HEM1.12.10a. Sorry for not stating that in previous post.

He was having problems importing which is why I offered to PM him the new build. The latest build is still undergoing internal alpha testing and I won't be able to remember to PM you directly when it is ready to share more widely. It is looking pretty good so I am hopeful we might be able to post it soon but I really can't be sure when exactly yet.

Solutions:
1. Reboot your computer
2. If that doesn't help look for the hidden system file postmaster.pid in the postgresql data folder, delete it and reboot your computer again.
3. Check the postgresql service in the windows services (control panel->administration). Sometimes it helps to change the Logon As.. to "local system account"
4. Check our FAQ:

any idea when you'll have HEM2 for Merge that doesn't require manually assigning tables thru the table finder?

Please update to this version

http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem, describe exactly what you were doing, and attach your log.txt file -

http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

This works except for certain tables - BBJ ones aren't working.

Can someone please give me some teamviewer help setting up HEM and PostgreSQL on a new laptop. I've run into some PostgreSQL issues I can't seem to get past.

PostgreSQL installs with a bunch of errors. I just reinstalled W7 on this brand new laptop and used Black Viper's 'Safe' list: http://www.blackviper.com/service-co...onfigurations/. I have changed Secondary Logon to Auto though.

I deleted that user account completely and made a new one with no spaces in the name, then reinstalled everything and it worked fine.

All my hm2 problems have been fixed thanks to the great support ITT.

Speed and depth of response are 2nd to none imo.

Felt I had to return and say thank you.

It sounds like the zoom HUD is not working and it is only updating the HUD based on your imported hands.

Check this FAQ and make sure everything is running as admin - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rs+Zoom+Tables

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and attach:
- a screen shot of the table/desktop
- a hand history for the table
- a screenshot of the Active Sessions tab
- and a screenshot of the table created by running winspy - http://www.catch22.net/software/winspy-17
- how to use winspy - http://www.screencast.com/t/wLo1BcV7hc8v

Please zip and email the requested files to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread and your forum name.

  • The remaining Zoom issues on HM1 should be resolved

I am not sure off the top of my head. Can you send us a few HHs?

Please zip and email the hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31).

Thanks fozzy. I X-posted our exchange in all of the Merge software threads, so hopefully the dev team will see it if they are not in touch with you already.

Merge 6.0 Upgrade

HM2**:
Please update to this version to make HM2 compatible with the new upgrade - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe

* Seating Preferences numbers/positions in HM2 do not match the Preferred Seating positions in the new Merge client for 6max yet so you will have to adjust the settings in HM2 to correct the alignment issues. We are working on a fix for this and will update this link when it is resolved.

HM1:
Please update to this version to make HM2 compatible with the new upgrade - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...08Jun2012b.exe

**I just found out that the HUD is not working yet in SNG/MTT. I will post a new build as soon as it is ready.

I read in another thread late last night that they hoped to have this fixed today but I am only just getting over to 2+2 now as I have been busy all morning with emails and testing Cake Preferred Seating fixes. I established communication with one of the Merge Reps via gmail but they have not been making an effort to stay in contact with us regarding the issues since their 6.0 launch so we have to rely on feedback in the forums and do our debugging accordingly.

Yes, unfortunately I got a little eager to upload this build before our testers had a chance to fully test all the different table types. We are working on a proper solution and will try to get it posted here ASAP.

The assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HMONE-93: No HUDs for Merge Mtt and SNG in HM1 - Table Finder Does Not Work

If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email to support@holdemmanager.com and include "Notify Me When HMONE-93 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

*I just found out the developer has already fixed this issue so we should be able to upload a build shortly.
