i want to know how to filter what hands my opponents are opening by position. Someone said use the hands tab which would work but is there a way to find by position? this is what i'm looking for. Ex. pokerplayer opens 25% from button folds to 3 bet 75%. I want to know in my database all hands pokerplayer has opened from button? and what he has called 3 bets with from button. then i would like to continue my analysis on various flop textures what types of boards does he check back, bet etc. I would like to do this for some of the regs i play against all the time Thanks hope my ? makes sense.

Or if there is a better way people analyze opponents that someone could help me do thanks!

I'm playing 9 max but I just tried 6 max and the problems exactly the same, the stats for each person are there but they just seem to be randomly placed around the outside of the table, sometimes the stats will overlap each other and seem to be in no particular place or order except for they're usually not in the middle of the table.

I've set my alias now which has resolved the other problem (easy fix I know). I've also set my preferred seat for pacific tables in HEM and 888 so they should be synchronised for HU, 6 max, 9 max etc but it's still randomly placing the stats all around the outside of the table.

sorry if the question has been answered a dozen times, could not find it...

i requested hand histories from PS for tournaments I did not play on my pc... now what? how do i get them into hem? copy them into a txt file? how do i have to name it?

I didn't do much review when I played regularly (probably why I sucked so bad), but I think you want to do something along these lines:

You will want to use a combination of the Main Filters for the positions - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/149/Main+Filters

I am sorry for the problems. This is a known issue and it has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. While I don't have a specific date for when this issue will be resolved, this is on a short-list of HM1 bugs we hope to resolve soon.

For now you will need to right-click the table name in the Table Manager and manually pick the proper table type because all of the tables are being recognized as 10max by mistake - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...+Manager#right click

The previously assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HMONE-4.

Had a HUD problem yesterday. Was playing a new player and my HUD was not updating for him only. The HUD was showing 3 hand on vilain and he was playing two table with me, in fact I had 100 hands on this guys. Is this a know issue?

This FAQ explains how to do it for the hand histories and tourney summaries they send via the 'requests menu' - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...and+Histories+

For tournaments you should also request the summaries in addition to the hands. They recently added this feature, so please enable the option in the PokerStars client and add the folder to your Auto Import Folder Configuration - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...+Summary+Setup


It's a bit easier to import if you ask them to send you 'all' your old hands/summaries so they are sent as attachments instead of pasted into the email body.

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Histories/Summaries.

They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder. HM > Import From Folder for all of the unzipped hands.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments. HM > Import File(s) for all of those files. It will probably ask you to search/select your Pokerstars screen name. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions.

It's possible you had the HUD Options > HUD Filters or Tournament Filters configured and they were filtering out some of the hands:

I have holdem manager 1 that i can upgrade for free to HEM2, but i don't want to it for a little while, do i have to upgrade to HM2, than install HM1 again to be able to use NC or can i use HM1 PRO- license?

On Stars the HUD never shows up until after I've played 1 hand.
Pre-fetch 1 hand is selected.

It has always been this way for me, but with a rush type game coming soon it would be nice to try to fix this.

Today my HM1 stopped working because of some NET framework issue (************** Exception Text **************
System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'PresentationCore, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.
File name: 'PresentationCore, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35')

Uninstalled NET Framework, reinstalled it, reDLed its windows updates, reinstalled HM1 nothing helped. Any info on this?

Anyway, DLed HM2 and it works, just wondering what all do I hate to do to get it working the way HM1 worked? So far imported the whole HM1 settings/hud, so looks like I'm set, but after testing the HUD, sometimes players disappear for unknown reason despite sitting at the table, why is that?

I am not sure without asking the NoteCaddy Developer (Sreti) but there is no reason not to upgrade to HM2 if you can do it for free. You will be able to use HM1 for at least another 6 months after upgrading (and if you need it longer after 6 months for any reason, you only have to ask us via email).

this is HEM 1.
We have no way to know if the current pre-fetch method will work with the Blitz game, as I expect everything will have to be rre-developed from scratch for that game like it was when FTP introduced Rush. IIRC, pre-fetch for FTP regular tables did not work for Rush when it was in existence.

You can't run the HUD without .net

The error shows a location for the log file in your temp folder. Please check that file to see what the error is.

Also, please open command prompt, right click, run as an administrator. Open start - accessories.

Run sfc /scannow are there errors showing?

I was told to uninstall my .net framework and install 4.0 That worked but killed my poker software (intertops - cake) I managed to get 3.5 and 4.0 installed and resinstalled the poker client. It starts but can't "find servers" Any chance you can help? It worked perfectly before i put on 4.0

Also, the old poker software for cake Ver 1.0 works fine. I would be fine if the hud worked on that software.

HM1 and HM2 do not support Cake 1.x clients. You must install their 2.x software, which should work fine with .net also.

When I am copy pasting a plain text hand from the hand viewer to weaktigh.com or pokerhand.org I always get an error message and can't convert it. I always have to go into my report tab or active session tab to copy and paste the hand into either site to make it work. Why is the plain text from the hand viewer not working with those site and the link form the report and active session are working?

Would be very nice to make the hand viewer pasting work. I am a player who doesn't want to look at his result while playing and I have to do this if I want to convert a hand.

Hello Fozzy,

I didn't use my HEM in a few months (since I was playing only SNG's). Now when I run the import it seems to be working fine however there are no new hands when I go to either the session / hands / reports windows. Old hands appear as normal. HUD doesn't work either. Any ideas?

We have a feature request open for an 'export in original format' option but I don't have any sort of ETA for when it will be implemented.

Are you playing at pokerstars?

This is because of the recent pokerstars update. You need to manually update HM1 to fix this.

Please update to the latest version 1.12.10 (internal) - http://www.filedropper.com/hmupdater...1121017feb2011

You will also have to activate/register the software again because of a licensing bug that we fixed in 1.12.08.

If you have problems activating the software:

Please try using our site to rest your license. If your code isn't there already you can upload it manually and then reset the code whenever necessary.
