I bought HEM2 - for no limit holdem low stakes and use it on PokerStars. But... it shows total bull****. It can count games but do not know whether I won or lost - look pretty random. According to number of loses and wins he cannot count total profit. It shows that I was 4x fourth in heads up... O_o I'm playing for two days only this year, onlu HUSNG. Dont know what to think about this.

Makes sense. Thanks!

I bought HEM2 because the trial worked fine on my laptop. But when I tried to install it on my pc with the serial that worked too! untill I clicked on it and it showed me a message 'hem2 has stopped working ..' immediate crash! And the pc is my primary station so im kinda lost here..

Note: After it didnt work on vista ultimate, I completly formatted my pc and installed windows 7. Net..4 etc is installed with the setup of hem2 and I installed hem2 right after i was done with the setup of w7.

I know there are quite a lot of bugs in there but even getting it started up will bring some relief to me. Thanks!

Any tournament with more than 1 table will require a separate Tournament Summary/History file to be imported for HM2 to properly calculate the size, places, and prizes. If your site does not write summaries, or you experience any discrepancies with the results, you will need to manually edit the results via the Reports > Tournament > Tournaments > right-click > edit.

You may need to request and import any/all of your old tournament histories and import those to HM2. Stars did not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive in the past, like FTP did. They recently added this feature, so please enable the option in the PokerStars client to be sure that it is enabled in the Pokerstars options and be sure that HM2 has added the folder to your Auto Import Folder Configuration.

http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...er+Stars+Setup

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Histories/Summaries.

They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder. HM > Import From Folder for all of the unzipped hands.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments. HM > Import File(s) for all of those files. It will probably ask you to search/select your Pokerstars screen name. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions.

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...and+Histories+

If you continue to have problems, please zip and email the problem hand histories. Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework:

1) Download and run this uninstaller - http://videos.holdemmanager.com/dotn...eanup_tool.zip
2) Install this one: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/e...5-b386f32c0992

Make sure windows is still fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and attach your log.txt file.

After last Stars client update I can't see my HUD without playing a hand first in HEM1.
I'm assuming something has messed up prefatch hands.
Now I gotta play an orbit basically to evaluate the table, if profitable or not Any fix to this ?

And that he 3bet 1 out of 10 times for 10%?

Is the first digit the % and second digit the amount of times player was in a position to do it?

About the sample size, can I see the sample size ALL the time in the popup HUD next to the %?
Sometimes when I have more hands it only shows % and it kinda sucks since I'd like to know % AND how many times out of x nr of hands he does that certain action.

Here is an HM1 internal version that fixes the stars pre-fetch bug and ipoker table scanner problems (*but does not fix the Merge Rebuy MTT or Cake Tourney problems):

If it doesn't show a sample after the stat it should mean the sample is greater than 99. Once it becomes a triple digit sample we remove it from the popup to keep it less cluttered.

Can I modify the sample higher than 99 to show on some stats? Not interested in all though! I don't mind more clutter for the smallish popups I have.

Hello again fozzy,

I'm trying to backup my database. I'll be in my hometown for one week, the computer that i play is a desktop PC. So, i need to copy the database to my laptop. I'm trying to follow steps on faq page on hm2 page.

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...store+Database

But when i try to connect server, i gives back an error:
An error occured:

"Error connecting to the server: FATAL: the pass word for "postgres" user ......"

I never changed db useror password they both default. I noted two passwords when i first setup the hm2. "svcpass83" and "dbpass". tried both of them.. What can i do? Is there anyway else to take hand histories and export them to laptop?

You can check the password in the HM database management. Its probably postgrespass

I think Fozzy will post another update later today. Our testers report that the latest internal HM1 build works on Merge rebuys.

My HM seems to have stopped importing hands for some reason and I'm unsure as to why. It's worked fine for 6 months or so however has now stopped importing hands. I've tried resetting HUD etc and have checked the import folders are all still linked up but it's still not working. I also tried manually importing the hands directly from the folder but it just says 0 files.

Can someone please be kind enough to offer a little support?

Thanks

Hi,

When you upload hands from the app via right click send to my HM they are sent to that website, for sync the hands are stored on our server if you go to a second PC or create a new database and then go to sync it will connect to the server and sync your database but you will not see them in the my HM section

Thanks

Hi, I've just gotten Holdem Manager 2 yesterday. I have a question regarding HUD. Is there a way to on/off whether I want to see a player's stats from all the hands i've played with him or not?

And also, can you please help me understand the HUD config between Normal and Session? What's the diff?

Thanks

double-click the player's HUD to change from lifetime to session stats.

normal = lifetime stats in hud
session = current session only stats

Just posting here to say it's absurd that Merge HUD positioning isn't fixed. After all these months after I still have to go to table finder and manually set each table? I know you guys have been busy, but it seems like you just get slower and slower with fixing things over time.

Why can't HEM read the table names and auto detect # of players based on game title?
At the very least table finder should be remembering my selections. If I set a Salmon Room as 9man the next one pops up should be detected as 9m not 10m.

Is it so hard to implement 1 of those 2 simple fixes after a few months? Seems like an easy fix compared to a lot of the stuff you fix :/

I've recently lost my serial code for HEM (everything wiped from my laptop, forgot to save it etc.) and i emailed support and everything and they got back to me with my serial code.

So when i reinstalled HEM trial version and when it came to the part where i enter the serial code i put it in but found that there was not enough characters in it to fill up the space. I tried to enter it anyway but it said "the serial number could not be used to unlock the software. please try again."

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

I am sorry for the delays. I found this bug in our system and it has definitely been lingering for far too long.

I increased the priority and talked to my supervisor to make sure we get it fixed asap. Unfortunately, it will not make it into the next release for 1.12.10 as that is almost ready for release but it should be fixed in the following release we plan for 1.12.11.
