Having a bunch of problems with the tourney and session filters. I play almost all hyperturbo 6max sngs, but I cannot seem to filter for just those. The default filter in HM2 for those exact tournaments does not filter my results at all, neither does a custom tag i made, or a custom filter for 6max with at 28.83+1.17 buyin I had no problems with HEM 1 and I'm wondering why I just spent 130$ on this upgrade. Is there a really good video somewhere explaining how to filter results for SNG players, b.c I've messed with this for several hours, I'm not ******ed, and I cannot make it work at all. It still shows under tourney results all the different stakes I've played, and I just want to look at results for $30 6max hypers. The filters take FOREVER to apply, and then they don't actually do anything. Also, am I really to believe that with 500 odd stats there is not a stat for EV ROI (luck adjusted winnings) If not there should be. I can't even see a way to calculate it in HEM 2. There is a option to add it to a graph but that's it, and even that does not seem to be working. Still using HM1 for now, but I bought this so I'd like to get it working.

EDIT by filtering just by buyin 28.83+1.17 under basic filters it thought for a good 10 minutes (it is almost 13k tournaments in my db) and then displayed only 30 buyin tournaments. Curiously enough it shows that 95 were regular speed (they weren't) and the rest were hypers (hey were all hypers) Not sure why, and of the regular speeds I didn't cash any. Could this be something to do with disconnects or something? The stat selection for tournaments seems very poor. At least as a SNG player, no one wants to see winnings in terms of chips (assuming it's chips) but this seems to be the default for not only winning, but many other useful stats. I changes winnings to net winnings, but I would like to see real cash values that were accurate for net-winnings/hour, luck-adjusted netwinning/hour. Also need an EV ROI stat, a VPPS earned stat for SNG/MMT players. There si every filter in the world for cash games, but from a SNG player's standpoint it is clear no one thought how this would look to a SNG player b4 it was released. The tournament default stats make no sense. I don't mind taking the time to edit them with relevant stats, but they don't seem to exist or populate properly.

CLIFFS:
- Default Tourney stats make no sense/are not useful
- Useful Tourney Stars are hard to find/ don't exist/ don't populate properly/ populate in terms on a non-relevant metric
- Having both Tags and filters is confusing and neither seem to work properly
- Times to test different filters are extremely high
- Default Tags for game times do not work (search using default tags 6 person hyper turbo found no games)
- Seems like the whole tournament portion of the program was a massive afterthought compared to cash section. For someone who only bought this program to use with only MTTs/SNGs that's very off-putting.

Examples:
Why on earth would the default show you how many chips you won in a day of tournaments? Or your total Winnings in SNGs without subtracting buyins? Why is winnings per hour for tournaments not profits per hour? Who would ever want to know how much they cashed for/hour in STTs without factoring in buyins? A lot of the EV and winnings stats just display a number, but you don't know if it's winnings, profits (net winnings), cash, chips or what. It's very confusing.

In HM2 go to Setings -> General -> enable "Allow to run simultaneously with HM1".
You need to start HM1 before starting HM2 and don't let the auto-import run in both programs at the same time.

Postgresql is a 3rd party software which is used by nearly all pokersoftware so your problems have nothing to do with HM2. I think the best is if you send us a detailled problem description and screenshots of the errors with link to this thread to support@holdemmanager.com. If we can't help you figuring it out via mail we will arrange a remote session.

Smeh. Fixed it by exporting my HEM database in HEM and then importing it into HM2. Slightly more tedious, but it worked. Might still email about that faster build though.

How can I add notes to a player when the HUD isn't running aside from in the hand replayer?

There isnt really another place to take notes other than replayer/live hud and hand viewer. You can preview notes and notecaddy notes in Opponents > Player Analysis but you can only preview those

We generally do not suggest you roll back unless it is absolutely necessary because you will likely encounter other bugs in those old versions that were long since fixed. I would expect some significant problems with 1.10.06a depending on the site you play.

I never updated since 1.10.06a and only had to because of some stupid "ERROR: 42P01" problem, so I ended up installing the latest HM1.

I play at Ongame and the only problem was no HUD on speed tables but that is nothing compared to what 1.10.06a Did have, which newer version don't

Another suggestion guys:

When I am playing and I click the box for the last hand to come up on the right hand side of my table to quickly review it I get the option of exporting the hand to "2+2 format", "plain text" "generic forum" etc......

When I am reviewing the hands after my session in the hand replayer it would be really good to have that option there also. At the moment it only exports the hand to the hard disk and I need to convert it myself.

Really disappointed that the replayer still doesn't work well. It doesn't pop-up, however it makes a blank window, so it now takes an extra step to open HM2.

The best way to do analysis of an opponent is to set them as your active player. Then you look at them overall, then analyze for different situations. Watch how they play different board types and hand types.

Any way to import hands that were sent by email? So not as a .txt file? Tried copy&pasting it into notepad and saving it myself but hm2 didn't recognize it..

This is often caused by having a currency stat added to the Tourney > Reports stat selection (Tourney Reports deal with chips, not currency.

The other most common cause is often a corrupt database.

The latest HM1 version wouldnt show the HUD on Speed tables? Cash tables, or SNG?

If yes, this is something we would like to address and resolve if possible.

I think what you are wanting is the [x] Use Vs Player: drop-down option that was found in the HM1 > Main Filters. This option/filter is missing in HM2 and is scheduled to be added to HM2 later this month.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

I'm having a HUD problem with HEM2. I've checked that my HHs are importing correctly and that HEM2 is identifying the folder that they're being imported to, but while my HUD does appear in the top left of each table, it just stays on "waiting for hands..." and nothing happens.

I did manage to get the HUD to display on one table for a little while, using stats from HEM1, and I did find two hands from my HEM2 session in the reports section, but Table Finder is very erratic. Sometimes it detects all my tables (very rare), just one table, or it detects four or five of the tables I've played at during one particular tournament.

I'm really not sure what to do here, it seems like there should be a quick fix and I want to get it sorted ASAP.

when i try to sinch my database the uploading speed is just 3 hands per second which means i should wait months for uploading 1gb database. is it a problem with your server this days?

I meant while playing, I click on the hand replayer in the HUD, and a lot of the time it doesn't work.
