I just checked my NC. I have it unchecked. It is what I had meant to say.
I am only using 2 active color definitions. One is to color code fishes, another to color code regs. Why would one of my previously already color coded reg to lose all my notes and revert his color code to nothing?

1) There is no message at the end of the process that informs users that some (maybe a very small sample) of their notes were erased. If people do not know that their notes are erased, how can they know to go restore their back up? Back ups become pointless in this sense.
2) I can assure you that at least 1 of my notes was erased. This leads me to believe there must be others. And if notecaddy is deleting user entered notes, then THERE SHOULD BE A WARNING WRITTEN IN CAPS ALL OVER NOTECADDY.COM HOMEPAGE UNTIL A FIX IS RELEASED.
THANK YOU !
Edit: OH if you think the above might be hard to replicate. How is this for a bug? Everytime I run note caddy auto color code. The "modified date" field on each note is erased! When I view it in stars after, every note I have taken since past 3+ years has its "modified date' changed to some random date!
