I will bump this again with the development team. I cannot give an ETA for a fix at this time as recently there have been higher priority HM1 bugs caused by Poker Site software updates/Operating System updates as well as ongoing HM2 development.

If you bought Holdem Manager after May 1st 2011 you will receive Holdem Manager 2 for free. As of yet final pricing for upgrading Holdem Manager 2 with Omaha Manager has not yet been determined however if you also upgrade HM1 now you will also receive the HM2 upgrade for free.

For users who purchased HM1 before May 1st 2011 but upgraded it after May 1st 2011 the price of that upgrade will be giving as a discount towards HM2. So if you upgraded from small stakes to pro for $39.99 then you will receive $39.99 off HM2.

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer (start > computer) and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right-click + Properties the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator. Do the same for the main Poker Sites executable files.
Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files, even if the firewall is turned off.
Make sure the hand histories and poker client are in English. Also set your Windows Regional and Language Settings to English (US). Go to the Control Panel and open the Regional and Language Options and select English (US) as the "Current Format".
This just tells Windows to use the . as a decimal separator when it parses numbers.
Restart your PC.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it
If you don't see a table name listed, please drag the red X to the table and click OK. Open the Table Finder again and the list should be populated with the table name now, so you can select it.
Left-click and drag the red X to that table window
Click OK

There is no list for this. Redline for Ongame 5man SNG's worked for me on the hand histories I tested them with.

In that case there may be a bigger problem with your database. Power outages and windows crashes during database use is the most common cause of corrupt, damaged, or disconnected databases. Also an old hard drive with bad sectors on it can cause issues.
So to protect against this keep your hands histories in case you do need to reimport, use a power bar and avoid hard shutdowns (when you flick the power switch on the pc) and if your hard drive is old consider replacing it with a new one. They are cheap and much faster now than even a few years ago.
You can try to do a full vacuum and reindex manually using PGAdmin to fix

The table data on the HUD is updated after every hand however it is not possible to just to use the last 20 hands. Table data is VPIP/PFR for the players currently at table and the pot average for the hands imported. The average pot calculation for HM and Poker Stars should be the same but the sample of hands it is based on will differ between HM and Poker Stars so results will not match. I do not know the sample size Poker Stars uses for its average pot calculation.

I have "Click for popup" disabled but I still get a large yellowish popup when I click on a player's HUD data. There are no plans to change this. The sessions section in Holdem Manager is now an additional part of the reports section in Holdem Manager 2 where it can be customised.

There is no way to disable it completely. When you have "click for popup" disabled you have to hover over a stat for its popup but if you click the HUD you will still see the main popup. The main popup can be changed in HUD Options ---> Player Preferences ---> Appearance Tab.

If you are referring to Poker Stars as in your earlier post you can enable prefetch to display the HUD before you sit/play a hand.

He was just saying that the bug you referenced was lower priority than the other bugs we had to solve recently. There were some minor stars bugs recently fixed, such as the Fast tables updates, and some scanner updates, and hyper sng issues.

This stat is in the continuation bet section and is called "Turn CB".

How do I filter for when I shove AI and am uncalled?

Have tried using the "other filters" pre-flop AI=TRUE and saw flop = FALSE which gives no result, but when I do, raise -> saw flop = FALSE I can find lots of times I shoved but was uncalled.

IIRC this is because All-in only gets noted in the hand history if you get called and the hand goes to showdown.
Otherwise it just shows as an uncalled bet, which could be anything from a minraise through to the shove.

The only way is to use the "BBs Bet Preflop is bigger Than", to filter the smaller raises out afaik.

I'm having an issue with running HEM as a 'standard user' and not as administrator. When I run as admin it runs flawlessly, recognizes my screennames, displays all of my hands, etc. When I try to run as standard user I get the following message upon start up

"error creating stat ranges xml file: access to the path C:\program files(x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config\Statranges.xml' is denied.

When I press ok HEM pops up but looks weird (missing buttons n stuff). When I click on reports tab I get "You have not selected a player to run this report against. Please click on change"

When I click change I get "unhandled exception has occurred in you application. If you click continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue...."

No info is displayed after clicking continue and then HEM will not close with out task manager force quit.

to grant admin access and reboot, but no go.

Are you also right clicking the program icon and selecting "Run as administrator"?
This works fine for me in a non-admin log-on, W7 64bit.
(HM1 and HM2)

It means typing admin password every time - but I'm happy to do this given the benefits reduced access gives for general usage.

Just reread the linked thread and see that was meant to avoid the need for my method - sry my bad. Still I'm happy typing the password now and again.

These steps (from that thread) should solve this error:

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Right-click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMImport.exe, HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

Restart your PC.

My HEM is not recording my merge (currently the only site I'm playing on, so not sure if it's just a merge thing) tourney reports or results data. Can someone help please. I have the latest update, and the hands are there, just not results or data.

Why is this **** so ****ing hard to install? Password to the right and left and some thing not installing until the 1000th try? What the **** is the problem? Can't you just make a program that can be installed by any ******?

I am using v1.12.04, with Visio.

My HUD is crashing after about ten to fifteen minutes of use. I am able to relaunch HUD and it'll work fine for an additional ten to fifteen minutes. My computer eventually gets bogged down enough that it freezes up.

If someone could direct me to an area of help it would be appreciated.

As Merge doesn't write those infos to the handhistory files you have to edit the data manually under tourney -> results -> dataview.
We are just investigating improvements for this.

I'm sorry but HM needs to use a performant database like postgresql and it needs a lot of ressources and access system files and other programs so its not as easy as installing a textprocessing program for example.
Where exactly do you have problems? Do you get any errors which you can post via screenshot? If you can't figure it out please contact support@holdemmanager.com with a description of your system and your problems and we will guide you through.

What is Visio? Which site and gametype are you playing? Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files(X86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder (or something similar depending on your installation). It may be just called holdemmanager if you've extentions turned off.
