Have always used the indicator series when playing at cake.
Just downloaded the new cake beta and indicator doesn't recognize
and attach itself to table as it always had in original cake version.
So, I exchanged these emails w/ support:
Hi,
Just downloaded new beta version
and my holdem indicator doesn't recognize
a table being present.
Just want to make sure this is beta related and not a problem on
my end
Thanks,
John

Hello John,
Thank you for your email. Please be informed that we neither support nor endorse any HUD for the simple reason that we believe it gives players an unfair advantage over others. All players should be entitled to have a level playing field as similar as possible to an actual table when they sit at the tables and to play against a person using Holdem Manager or other HUD software that has detailed statistical information on players playing style and past play is in our opinion is unfair.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Ove

Me:
Thanks for the quick reply, but I wasn't referring to HEM PT3 or any tracking software. Holdem indicator is merely a simple odds calculator that has always worked on
cake. If Iam now mistaken, just let me know please
Thanks,
John
and finally:
Hello John,
Thanks for the explanation. You may not use any tool which evaluates hands or even other players while our software is running at the same time. You may calculate hands yourself but we would not like to see a tool used to evaluate your hand for you.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Ove

Gave up at this point. I have always used holdem and tourn indicator (including at cake) I think they're great little tools. I know cakes hud policy but this other thing is new to me. cake's even listed on the indicator website.
Am I way off base here or does it look like it must be related to the beta.
Thought this belonged in the software forum but if the official cake poker thread is more app. feel free to let me know. If it does, instructions on moving and changing a thread to a post would be appreciated
