GTO Wiz vs PIO Vs GTOPLUS GTO Wiz vs PIO Vs GTOPLUS

Hello,

I am a micro-stakes player keen to improve my game and study. I play cash $1/2 live and occasionally Live tournaments aswell so would love to be able to work through all types of spots regarding game type / stack depth etc.

I am looking for a solver and have been playing about with GTO Wizards free version. It is interesting but the price seems pretty steep as it is subscription ($50 / month for the "starter" which is only for cash and 100bb deep) and even more for still limited game types.

PIO Solver has a 1 off fee of $249 for a "basic" version but I haven't used it but have heard it is used by a big usergroup.

I have also heard of GTOPLUS which seems the best value for money and is made by Flopzilla which is my most used software, and have found a "software + training" bundle on redchip for $100... so wondering if this software has limitations compared to the others? Apparently it is not soo complex as it runs on your PC - so wondering if I lose alot by not having a bunch of servers crunch my poker problems?

Wondering what you guys think, or if you have other suggestions?

Thanks
Ace

GTO+ and GTO Wizard user here. They're both great products, I think one of the main disadvantages of GTOw is that you can't nodelock, but you don't need a super PC because it's almost all already solved, and the interface is really nice. Really happy with it.

GTO+ is quite good too, a good choice for beginners and easy to use.

If you're interested in GTO Wizard DM me

Cheers.

Yeah the interface is cool for GTO Wiz and I like the feature of uploading a hand to have it analyzed.

I did a bit more digging and found a pretty cool comparison with GTO+ and PIOSolver - which is worth sharing here i think.

For a beginner with Solvers I am leaning more toward GTOWiz / GTO+ now.. price will prob decide it though.

I use both too. Worth every penny!

I was chatting to a 2+2 reg the other day and he said that gtowiz are planning to implenent node locking too..

A free alternative to gtowiz for 6max cash at least is gtobase..

Yeah I went with GTO+ in the end just because it was a flat fee of $100 iirc and then I bought a reduced Redchip course with it so i had the Pro / Core etc stuff for 3 months. I think it was good value for money.

Then there is an excellent youtube channel called solver school, which has content for both PIO or GTO+ but has some great in-depth introductory stuff for GTO+. Redchip course with coach Weazel is v good too.

It was a steep learning curve but once you've spent say 10-15 hours working with it and the videos it is well worth it.

GTO+ is only HU postflop analysis whereas others have preflop. Still with some work you can put all your GTO pre-flop ranges in Flopzilla. Thats another point - the flopzilla compatibility is really handy. You can pick from your Flopzilla ranges, if you have flopzilla pro you can put up 2 ranges and then just import into GTO+ and once you do analysis you can import back into Flopzilla to do other studies.
