An i5 CPU with 8GB RAM should be sufficient for basic use.
For more complex trees and reasonably sized databases a stronger processor and 16GB would be recommended.
All-in-all, you can use the trial version to see if the software performs to your expectations.

Want to run simple sims for flop with different stack sizes to know on different flops whether to check, bet little or big. Can I then use cash game or should I use the sit & go option?
My example in the picture is 40bb effective stack with 2.3bb opening from UTG and BB call. Then I want if OOP leads out 33% or 66% donk and if OOP checks and IP bets then OOP check raises 3x. And if OOP check flop, IP bets 33% or 66% and if OOP bets IP raises 3x. Hope you understand what I mean and with the example that this is how I should do. Not sure if i should use cash game if it is mtt or if you should use sit & go instead, how should you then have the settings for my example. Greetings / Ubbe

Hi scylla, is there a way to preview the entire built tree to see if I have built it correctly before solving it?

If you're either far away from the money in an MTT, or if the prize structure is winner-takes-all, or if there's only two players left, then use cash game.
Otherwise you can apply ICM conversions in Sit&Go mode.

The most straigthforward approach would be to go to the editor, click on "IMPORT TREE" and look at the tree in the 2D viewer.
You can also use the same editor to add/remove actions as you see fit.

To see the turn tree at each node I would have import it each time then?

Hi scylla,
Is there a way to filter solutions in gto plus for suits?
Say I want to filter for missed flush draws on the river (either front ddor or backddor). Or want to see all the combos with one spade on a 3 spade board. Or suited cards of the suit that missed the flop.
Much like the groups you have on the right handside.
Thank you.

is there any demonstration of someone using gto+ in sit and go mode? i am interested in how it differs in an icm setting, is it as simple as just inputting the ranges and the payouts? i assume because its hu there are only two places paid (am i correct in thinking that?) why would it matter in a sit and go mode or cash (can you give me an example where it matters) thanks

You could click the small triangle to sort the trees.
Other than that, the trees are displayed in the order in which they are added.

At the moment we display suit filters that are directly relevant for the board.
We can consider adding additional customization for future releases though.

If I understood your original request correctly, you were looking for a way of previewing your tree prior to solving it?
The most straightforward method of navigating through the decisions in the tree is by using the editor.
The tree would need to be imported into the editor only once.

I can only see the tree for the flop? How can I preview the tree for the turn and river?

Thanks

You can use the arrow buttons to navigate from/to the flop/turn/river.

Hello, Scylla. I don't know if you've seen this video, but after watching it, you might be able to get some ideas for improving the GTO+ tools (i think "Strategy + React" is a really useful tool).

Ok, I will consider it for future releases.

Hello scylla

is it possible to have all the data (frequency for each action, EV for each action, and the general EV) for each combo, for all subsets

For example, if I go to my database and switch to aggregation, I will have the overall EV and equity of each combo, but not the frequency and EV of each action for each combo.

To have the frequencies of each combo, you can go to a specific hand, but it is not practical to export the data to analysis software.

thanks

Hello all,

I have a computer with this specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1005G1 CPU @ 1.20GHz 1.19 GHz, and 8GB of RAM.

I play NL10 and want to study GTO. I wonder will my specs be good enough to use GTO+ (and what level of use can I get with this specs).
Im familiar with GTO concepts but I have never used a solver, will it be hard to figure out how to use it, will it take me long time to solve a spot while reviewing my session?
I wonder is it maybe better for me to use something like GTO Wizard (Ive been playing with the free version) I know that GTO Wizard is not a solver but I wonder is it better for someone like me who has not the high end specs with 32gigs of RAM.
And one more point to keep in mind, the standard version of GTO Wizard is 50$/month which is a lot for a NL10 player, compared to GTO+ which is 75$ one time purchase.

I hope there is/was someone who was in a similar situation who figured it out, and ideal used both software's.
I hope GTO+ is good enough for me but I dont want to make a purchase and figure out that
I cant do enough with it, or figure out that it is a very slow proces (im not thinking about the learning curve- but the time after I learn how to use it) and thats the reason im considering something like GTO Wizard, but the downside is thats not a solver, I can just see results for the pre defined ranges and the biggest downside for me is it costs a lot of money compared to the stake I play.

Thank you in advance!

You should be able to test the solving speed with the trial version.
Go here for download: https://www.gtoplus.com/download/
The trial version is fully functional; its only restriction is that it will only work for a Td9d6h board (this should not affect the ability to test solving speed).

The frequencies are already available when switching to "Branch" output.
I suppose that we could consider displaying the EVs somewhere as well.
