I am trying to add an "All In" option on my tree (specifically on the river). Whenever I type in the code "A" it disappears as soon as I exit that text box. It will not allow me to type in A in any of the bet boxes. Is there another way to do this? Will a large number, like 1000% work just the same?

EDIT: I also have a question about the Memory Customization. My computer is equipped with 16gb RAM (something like 13gb available) however GTO+ is only detecting between 6-8 (it fluctuates).

Is this common? Will it be safe to Disable Auto Detect, knowing that my PC has 16gb and my tree only requires 7gb? Or is it possible that if I disable auto detect, theres a change that the solver can only "recognize" the 6-8gb, and therefore not utilize the other RAM, thus putting my PC at risk of crashing?

This feature will not work in earlier versions.


It's possible for auto-detect not to function properly.
If you're certain that you have 13GB available, then it should be possible to disable it.

1.
I suppose that you could load it, and then add it with "Add current tree", with the desired name.
After that, delete the tree from the database.

2.
Use Ctrl+right-click to delete a tree from the database.

so now i have some weird bug, i did first point as you recommended and i saved it, its saved as extensive so have all turns and i can browse them, but when i want to use turn report it write to run solver, can you check if you can reproduce same bug and fix it please?

Question about play the solver feature.

I understand it only runs flops and trees you have solved. But I’m wondering how the bet sizes are determined?

For example: If I ran K72r with 2 bet sizes, and then also ran K72r with several more/different bet sizes and saved them in the same database.….When this board comes up in Play the Solver, what bet options do I have?

If you're playing versus the database, then the tree will be drawn randomly from it.
So whether you're looking at the tree with 2 or multiple bet sizes will depend on which tree is drawn.

Are you perhaps looking at a report on the river?
Those are calculated live.

For this use "File->Save: Convert to Basic storage".

Can GTO+ use virtual memory if system RAM is not enough to load a .gto file? I am thinking of setting a USB stick to be used as virtual memory (paging file).

Virtual memory would be far too slow; system RAM is really required for this.

Hello just a small suggestion. When clicking the arrow to open new subtree on the turn or river, is it possible to set the Build Decision Tree to the Advanced Tab as a default? I rarely find myself using Basic, im pretty sure most people here also use the Advanced Tab more often than not when opening a new subtree config.

I will make some changes, so that the setting from the master tree is copied into the subtree.

I am running a database and want to use the code export_xxx to save all the individual files in the subdirectory. Where do I find this save file? Is there a file path? I don't seem to see any subdirectories or other files?

One other question. I ran a sim here and gave the IP player 4 bet size options on the turn when x'd to. (33,66,75,100).

Looking at the tree, it appears that the IP player is only given 2 size options on the turn (132% and 45%). Neither of which I selected, but more importantly, it doesn't have the options for what I selected.

I'm new, and probably missing something here.

It's in the installation directory of GTO+ (something like C:\Program Files\GTO\flops\XXX)

@scylla, could you add a way to change that? A popup like when using the merge feature would be better, where you can select exactly where you want the files to go. Thanks


You need to uncheck "With only 2 bets, get the money in smoothly". It simplifies the tree automatically when the SPR gets low.

savefile got over 4gb i think, also i deleted it already but here is how to reproduce bug:
solve database of 2 boards with extensive storage, then click on board in database to open it, and change name to Test at add current tree and put it in database, then delete old board, if you open that board with new name, it should be missing turn reports even turns are calculated already
