I want to set OOP to not donk on the flop- so I set the lead out size to 0. However, OOP can check raise on the Flop. On the Turn, if it was checked through on the Flop, I want OOP to have the option to donk 25%. If OOP check raised on the Flop, then I want him to bet 50% or 100% on the Turn. How do I set this up?

Is there anyway to view these matrices the same sizes?
Ok, I'll see if we can do something for future releases.

OOP betting after the flop has gone "Check-Check" is called a probe bet.
OOP continuing to bet after check-raising the flop is called a cbet.

To make this distinction between the types of bets, add p or c to the bet size.
See the screenshot below.

However, cbetting will apply to any spot where OOP continues to bet.
So it will also affect the "Bet-Call", "Bet-Raise-Raise-Call" lines, etc.

Hi Scylla,
I really like GTO+.

I've spend a lot of time in the GTO+ preflop editor and I now have an extensive list with personalised preflop ranges that I use to solve and drill different situations with.

I want to export (or copy/paste) these colorcoded packages of ranges from this GTO+ (it's on my desktop pc) to the GTO+ on my laptop.
Is there a way to export my ranges from one GTO+ range editor to another GTO+ range editor on another computer?

Maybe everything saved in the preflop editor gets stored in a config file or txt file somewhere in C:\Program Files\GTO?

Suggestion regarding "go all in if push is less than x% pot" during advanced tree building: I think it could benefit from splitting flop/turn and rivers in order to make building trees faster and more precise.

Right now, if I enter a low number, I need to go through various xbets on the flop, since in reality flop raise for half a stack/fold ranges basically do not exist, but they do appear in such a tree.

If I enter a high number, then the tree loses river blockbets that actually can be implemented even with a very low spr.

I'm tired and I'm sure I did not phrase it correctly, but I think the point can be understood.
Thanks

Your ranges are stored in /config/newdefs3.txt.
To transfer your ranges, simply copy this file to the new computer.

Custom setting per flop/turn/river are available by clicking on the small blue triangle.

After a point in time, I don't know what I did, but the new databases I solved stop showing aggregate average and cannot be filtered.
I am attaching the problem and what is was before, not that the aggregate average at the bottom and flop filters at the right.

Ok, can you send a savefile to support?
Should the file have been stored with "Extensive" storage, then it can be reduced in size by storing it with "File->Save: Convert to Basic storage".

The "help" item, next to "Basic/Rebuild/Advanced/LHE" will take you to a page with more information on which special codes are available.
Here is the link to that page: https://www.gtoplus.com/treebuilder/

hey encountering strange error i've never come across before. solved a flop last night and had saved it. trying to open it again today and it won't load and GTO+ just crashes everytime. file is saved correctly as gto file obv and have even updated the program just in case. any ideas?

thanks

Was the file solved+saved with an earlier version of GTO+?
Earlier versions applied compression (using compression to reduce the size of the files seemed like a good idea at the time).
The problem turned out to be, that GTO+ savefiles can become quite large, and if even a single bit is stored incorrectly, then the entire savefile will not load anymore.
The more recent versions have had some changes, so that, even when corrupted, the savefiles will almost always still load.
If you want me to take a closer look, then please send the savefile to support.

Ive been running SBvsBB database each sim is 60GB on average. Ive solved 100 or so boards and now it is requiring 75GB to simply start up! Is this normal and if not is there a solution?

Thanks

I'm having the issue where one of the flops in a database has a different tree than others disallowing an aggregate action selection. When this happened before I knew which flop caused it and this time I do not. Do I have to go through all 163 to find which one is different or is there another way? Thank you!

It sounds like you're using "Extensive" storage for your savefile, with each tree requiring roughly 600MB to be stored in RAM.
It may be preferable to store the trees as separate savefiles, and solve the savefiles separately.

Hello, Scylla !
Is a suit selection of postflop matrix in nearby plans ?
I've no idea how many hours would it take. If it's really massive mb you can pack it like add-on w/ some other extensions for some extra $

Ok, I will consider it for future releases.

The postflop suit selector is really useful and necessary, Scylla. Even the way you suggest using the program ("understanding" made-hand patterns) it becomes really necessary to see hands that are not flushes or backdoors and, at a glance, understand what they are doing.
On the other hand, being able to filter1 card backdoors would also be very useful, and would be a great advance compared to other solvers, much less manageable than this one but that do incorporate this type of functions.
That said, as always congratulate you on this great job you do. Good work man !!

Hi scylla,

It's been several months, so I'm going to ask again for an update on the ability to customize the default turn and river solve dEV.

I've just ran once again on a spot where it would have made a big difference:
The default turn solution gave me a bit of every sizing:

And just re-running the solver for a few seconds to 0.05% dEV simplifies to one sizing:

When trying to learn, it's a lot easier to when the solution is simpler, and for just a few seconds it seems like a huge gain.

Please make the default dEV customizable. It can be a setting somewhere, even in a config file if you want to hide it so that only people who know what they're doing change it.

It's extra annoying when playing against the solution, because it's impossible to do. If you re-run the turn solve, the play against the solution window resets, and you lose the hand.

Oh, and I agree with the two previous posts, postflop suit selection would be great as well.

Thanks!
And happy new year!

Hey, I'm after creating a few exploratory databases, and I've just discovered that I cannot export the strategy info from the database results section, any idea what could be up?

Ive exported all the individual solves and reimported them fwiw, still no change.

It should be possible to click on the "Export" button.
Or are you referring to something else?
