It's a lot more intuitive to defend against a 75% cbet than a 3x pot one OTF.
I guess that's true, learning the strategy goes both ways.
And I do agree that using a strategy that people don't know is a good idea, I just think going for a 300% sizing is a bit extreme :P
There is also the fact that a 300% sizing is going to have a lot of checking. And when you check you are then letting your opponent decide the sizing if they decide to bet on the turn. So you still need to know how to play against a lot of different sizing on the turn and river.
I think that's part of why a lot of people like strategies that can be simplified to betting all of your range. If you bet all the time, you are a lot more likely to go down a path of the game tree that you know.
