oop has various river bets showing up in the tree editor but simply ignores them because of the don't donk master switch
any way you can think of to circumvent this? ty.
Do you mean that OOP has bet/check available as options, but only chooses to check? So basically bet is 0%? This is not because of a "Don't donk" option, but only because it's apparently not GTO to donk in that spot.

So "Don't donk" was activated in default settings when the database was solved

Which in turn forced no donks on rivers

My question is can I somehow allow donk bets on the river without having to re-solve everything, seeing as the flops are all nodelocked and solving again would remove the locks. Only need river donks tho, not on flop and turn.

Editing the tree to manually add river bets doesn't seem to work for me. If I try to do it immediately after loading the database, it accepts the changes but nothing actually happens. If I first open one of the solved flops and try to edit, the program crashes every time.

Additional question, what do I want to choose in the "Followed by" drop menu after inserting the new bet?

Ty for your time mate.

I'm interested in the above question too: do we need to resolve the whole tree when editing turn or river actions?

The flop solution will be remembered if only the turn/river has been edited.
In this case, pressing the "Resolve" icon will re-solve the selected turn/river line.

The flop solution will only be copied over if the editor is used. It will not apply to the tree builder. It would be difficult to make it work differently, given that we'd need to check if the new tree is exactly the same as the current tree; in this case the solution would be copied over. However, some users may not want this, and want a new, reset tree instead. So different users may want different things.

Can you explain in a bit more detail exactly which steps lead to a crash?

Typically I would pick the top option "Geometric sizing", and only deviate if I had a specific reason.

Hello Scylla, hope you are doing well.

I'm having a little problem with a database i solved, i'm not finding the average or the total frequencies in the "display results in graph". Where it says "163 items in table" i want to see the total frequencies. I used Basic Storage, but i might have tweaked some trees and some extensive storage stuff and then removed it from the database, don't know if this information is useful or relevant. I solved all the 163 flops and i want to see the total frequencies without exporting the results to a sheet.

Thanks!

Was the database solved with one of the more recent versions?
I believe that we only added this feature in v129.

No, was solved yesterday. In this particular database, i started solving with 1 sizing on flop, a good amount on flops, and then went back and rebuild everything, played a little bit with the configurations, solved some flops, and rebuilt, then when i was happy I cleared the database, and solved from scratch. All in the same savefile. Keep it running all night, and today i wanted to check the frequencies and couldn't find them.

Is it possible for you to send a savefile to support?
I should be able to check why the averages are not displayed.

I tried to find the answer on this thread and I saw that people use the 32bit version because the 64bit doesn't work.
So I tried to install the 32bit (both 1.2.9 and 1.3.0 beta) with Windows 7, 8 or 10 and it just won't work (same issue as other people, the app pops on the dock but nothing else appears).
By the way, I'm using Crossover 19.

I'd like to know how to make it work please.

Thank you.
Up plz

Hi,

So I will change my CPU, motherboard and RAM so I can run bigger trees in GTO+. My question is: what is the procedure to use GTO+ with the new components? Do I need to request a new key when my hardware ID will change?

I actually can't recreate the crashing now lol, don't remember exactly what I did to trigger it.

Managed to get the edit to work, but only for 1 flop in the database. It then shows up as not solved and I can run solver again and it does bypass the don't donk standard toggle.

Only works on the first flop I select tho, does not change any of the other, if I try to do the same thing 1 by 1, all it does is clone the first one and add an extra copy to the database.

Same behavior on databases that don't have nodelocks. Any other ways you can think of? TY

You would need to edit one tree, clear the database and rebuild it from the edited tree.
Then all trees in the database will be identical.
This will not maintain the nodelocks though.

You can request a new key for GTO+ here: www.gtoplus.com/request-a-key
It will be sent to you within a few minutes of your request.

if I clear the database, does that not remove every flop in there?

So I just got into nodelocking. I thought my brain was playing tricks on me. After locking one node, other nodes changed.

I ended up figuring out I pretty much have to lock all nodes to figure some things I want to figure out.

Is there any easy way to lock all nodes??

Yes, when clearing a database, all flops in the database will be deleted.
Except for the flop that is active (the one that you loaded from the database).

In a check-bet-raise scenario, if you edit the "Raise" decision, then, when running the solver, both IP and OOP will probably decide to reach this decision with different ranges. So the locked decision will indeed be changed. If you want to prevent this, then all decisions that lead up to the decision should be locked as well.

ah, "leading up to", that might help me

but then if I am nodelocking riv, is there an easy way to auto node lock all nodes? bc it's super tedious to lock every previous action manually

Any ideas on why GTO+ is crashing to desktop after loading a database (2.8GB)? Was saved correctly, but can't open anymore lol

It's a very large file, so it's possible that something went wrong with it.
If you want me to take a look, then please send the savefile to support.

You could just use the "re-solve" icon to just solve the river again.
This will be much faster, and not change the decisions that lead up to the river.

Is it possible to partially solve the 163 subset, perhaps only rainbow boards and then combine it with another file (same tree and everything) from a friend where he solves the remaider non-rainbow boards? Not sure if the merge option would work.

Yes, for this just remove the unsolved trees from each file.
After that, merge them.
When merging, use the weights for the 163 subset.
