I think for most of us the point of using a subset is that it's a good place to start from to solve for common spots, but if one is unable to add additional flops, it makes compiling a database rather redundant IMO.
The subsets are weighted in order to represent the possible 1755 flops as closely as possible. Adding more flops to them would make them much less accurate. Also, it would introduce a problem of which weight would need to be assigned to the new flops.
If you want to convert your database to a regular one, then I suppose you could use the "Export" function to export the database into its separate flops.
After that, use the "Merge" feature to gather all the files in the same directory back into a single database. Use the option "Use default weights" so that regular weights are used. The database will now no longer be a subset.
