I think periodic autosaving during the run of a single database would be helpful.
It apears that I misread your question. If you use the "Folder" icon to process all files in a single directory, then your file will be auto-saved after every solved tree. So it doesn't just save after solving the entire database; it will save after every tree.

Scylla,

Is that the only feature (ty for pointing out) of the folder? Simply I press it and it now saves after each flop in a database?

Ah, I see, so if I just have one database in a folder, but use that option to solve it, it'll save after every tree. That makes sense, thanks.

The main purpose of that feature is to solve multiple trees and/or databases that are in a folder.

Hi Scylla,

I'm running this big BUvsBB DB and for some reason there is something wrong with this one flop. No idea why it won't solve it?

It just appeared today that X.

Ah I figured it out. I didn't know about that ignore this file was something manually done by the user. My bad.

Hi scylla, do we get a licence key w/ gto+ for CREV?

Hi, is it possible to change the suits for a solved flop without changing the compositions? purely for aesthetic purposes. e.g. change Kd6d8c for Ks8s6h

Is anyone in this thread willing to share their newdef3 text files with some preflpo ranges in the program? Any decent 6 max preflop ranges from reputable sources is fine.

I have solved ranges in images but it is tedious to enter them one hand at a time into the program. I'd be willing to swap.

I think the dark mode can use a bit of work

Hi Scylla

How much ram does it take to be able to do all SB vs BB flops with 5 bet sizing and 2 X / R sizing Flop Turn and River?

Currently with 4 bet sizing and 2 sizing of X / R I have flops which lack of ram with 120 GB available.

Thank you for your help

Hi Scylla,

I have a question regarding GTO+ provided subsets for DB runs. Before when I used Pio's subset from an import I could add more flops later, allowing me to build a DB of solved flops for the same spot.

However I found with GTO+ subsets, the flops have the text "(subset)" next to them and I can't seem to add specific flops anymore. Is this by design?

I think for most of us the point of using a subset is that it's a good place to start from to solve for common spots, but if one is unable to add additional flops, it makes compiling a database rather redundant IMO.

Hi everyone,

My apologies for my late response. Usually I receive a notification when a post is made here, but apparently this was not the case in the recent days. It had only just occured to me today to check manually.

This flop has been marked as "Ignore".
Right-click it to remove the mark.

You can simply request your key for GTO+ here: www.gtoplus.com/request-a-key
It will be sent to you within a few minutes of your request.

Should you not have received your key within 5 minutes, then please contact support with your hardware ID and we will generate your key for you manually.

Hardware ID?
To get your hardware ID, start GTO+ and go to "register" in its menu.

Not at the moment no, but we can consider it for future releases.

Personally I like it, but I suppose that is subjective.
The main purpose is to offer a dark version of the interface.

The subsets are weighted in order to represent the possible 1755 flops as closely as possible. Adding more flops to them would make them much less accurate. Also, it would introduce a problem of which weight would need to be assigned to the new flops.

If you want to convert your database to a regular one, then I suppose you could use the "Export" function to export the database into its separate flops.

After that, use the "Merge" feature to gather all the files in the same directory back into a single database. Use the option "Use default weights" so that regular weights are used. The database will now no longer be a subset.

Apparently it will take over 100GB of RAM. I would recommend sticking to single bet sizes on the turn and river though. Your trees will become smaller and solve much faster, while not significantly affecting the quality of the solution. The lines on the turn/river are really only needed to estimate the EVs of hands in these lines. There's not overly much detail required for this.

This feature will process all files that are present in the folder.
So it will allow you to process multiple files.

HI Scylla, is it possible to make play against the solution target specific spots such as

Only facing flop x raises IP in my BTN vs BB multi flop report?

Or only doing x call when I am SB and x'ed to BB and BB stabs?

Currently this is possible versus a single tree, but not an entire database (versus a single tree you would be drilling the same spot, but versus an entire database the spot would be different for every tree).

Disc space is much slower than RAM, so this approach would unfortunately not work.
