Hi Scylla, I created a database and solved a subset of 25 flops with ranges for BTN call vs SB 3b. I saved all the solutions into a file and closed the program. I am wondering if there is some way to now open the same solved database?

I have been trying some time but the only way I can get it to work is by loading the files one by one, which is obviously not ideal.

If at all possible though, please consider sticking to just single bet sizes on the turn/river. Your trees will be much smaller and solve faster, while not significantly affecting the quality of the solution.

Try turning ON "Run indefinitely if solver has trouble converging". If ranges are somewhat wide, then this will almost certainly work. That being said, first and foremost I would ask myself if building a 26GB tree really has enough added value to your analysis to justify all the additional solving time.

Thanks for the reply

I’m also wondering if there’s a chance to have a tab for just continuance ranges facing an action?

It’d be great to export the whole combined range that doesn’t fold to flopzilla pro.

It should be in the list of "Remove program". You can also just download+run the installer for v128. It has an option "Remove": https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/c...v128_64bit.msi

Ok, I will see what I can do for future releases.

If you have created a database, shouldn't it all be in a single file?

You can just run the database again. When it's solved, and only files with memory issues remain, the next solve will let GTO+ go over the unsolved trees again.

Hey I have a question about GTO+, BuildTree should you enter Cap BigBlinds or Dollars ..?

You can use any unit that you like, but please make sure to enter everything (stacks, pot, bet sizes and cap) in the same unit.

I think that an .msi installer should work.
However, we also offer a .zip version, which is available on the website: www.gtoplus.com/download
It wasn't until I installed WineHQ that I got both GTO+ and FlopzillaPro to launch and accept my ID#. And to my delight they can communicate with each other and Flopzlla will update. There are a few bugs though, to be sure, mainly with screen optimization issues, but perhaps something to look past, and there's always a Windows drive I can boot from if need be. I'm actually curious how a benchmark between the two would compare. My guess is that GTO+ running on Linux through Wine would be faster than GTO+ running straight from Windows because of the more system overhead I don't have on Linux compare to Windows which just generally allows everything to run with such seemingly low latency. Makes for a pleasant experience for my low-end PC. Low end by modern day standards is nothing to cry about though. At least it shouldn't have to be.

Hi Scylla,

I think I encountered a bug. Please see the video below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaAT...ature=youtu.be

I wanted to nodelock the V raising only the K3cc, as he did in game, but it would not let me change the action on that hand without changing the K3hh hand.

I know most people have moved on from CREV but I'm trying to learn it because I hear people say it's good for a lot of things, especially for beginners.

Anyway...

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this means:

I setup my first tournament tree and was trying to calculate ICM in a hand at a final table. I noticed that all the hands i folded showed a -EV.

So I was wondering what that means? Did I setup something wrong? Or is it telling me I should be shoving all these hands in this spot?

Please forgive me if this is really dumb but I'm still learning all this stuff. Thanks.

The EV in that popup is your EV prior to posting the blinds. So given the fact that you're posting a blind and then folding, when measuring from that point in time it's a loss. This should not affect your decision making though, given that prior to posting your blinds you don't know which hand you will be dealt.

The board is 7c4c2s8s. So h and d are essentially the same. This allows us to perform a trick where we treat all h and d hands the same, which can speed up calculations up to 3x. A requirement for this though is that K3hh and K3dd are treated as being the same hand, including when editing. If we were not to do this, then the speedup would no longer be possible, and the solver would run slower.

Thank you it worked! Great program btw, love it.
Can you, please help me with another question:
How can I reuse the tree I edited manually? Let say I create the tree using Advanced section then I proceed to edit it in Edit Tree section and then I want to change ranges and stacks. How do I do that? It seems like Save Profile option saves only setting from Advanced tab and not the changes added manually in Edit Tree.

Go to the "Rebuild" tab in the tree builder.
Click on "Rebuild with current settings".

Hi Scylla,

Thank you for the great software!

Is there a way to have a table with the check/raise frequency for each board in a Database ? (or more generally frequency of a specific action in the game tree)
That would be nice !

This is already available in v128.
It will work with databases that were calculated with v128 (or later).

So can you tell me please what am I doing wrong? Why after rebuilding the tree pot size is still the same? It changes back the moment I press 'Rebuild'? And I tried changing it back after rebuilding with same results.
Here 25 sec video What am I missing? Thank you in advance.

It's not possible to build the exact same tree with a different starting pot. It's only possible to change the board and ranges; changing the pot or stacks would affect the stack-to-pot ratios.

scylla!
In play against the solution mode, how do I delete the history?

Also, I wanted to ask you if it is possible to incorporate some method to "train" the frequencies when the strategy is mixed. Other solvers in the market understand that they have as a bar from 1 to 100 in the action we choose to choose the most exact approximation
I explain?

We currently only offer the ability to ignore a history, but not to delete it.
I can look into deleting histories for the next release though.

I can consider it. However, currently we offer the ability to press CTRL to view a solution while playing. For this, simply ask yourself what the frequencies will be, and then press CTRL to check your assumptions. To me this approach felt easier to use as opposed to a slider system. We did consider a slider, but this seemed more user-friendly.

Hi Scylla,

Is there an something to put for an all in sizing. Say on turn or river I want hero to either bet 66% pot or go all in. Can you put AI or something or should I just put a % of the pot (say 500 or 400%) that is all in.

Hi Scylla! Cheers from Ecuador

I am using currently working with GTO+ and have a question.

I do my solves with the subset of 163 flops. Everything was working fine with 3-bet and 4-bet pots. However, once I started working with single raised pots I noticed for the first time that my PC did not have enough memory to solve some flops.

In this image for example, you can see that on Q65r GTO+ told me that there was not enough memory to solve the flop. I opened GTO+ again and solved just this flop with the same tree, same stack to pot ratio and made everything exactly equal to the settings that I had on my file of 163 flops. This time GTO+ solved it without any problem.

I have 16gb of ram on my PC. I noticed that as soon as I open my file with the 163 flops, my ram goes down to 3.7 GB without putting the solver to work or having any other program opened. However, this was not the case when I solved just one flop (in this case GTO+ showed me that 13.8 GB of ram where available).

My question is: Can I add this single flop that is already solved to my GTO+ file that has all other flops solved? I tried but it doesnt seem that there is an option for doing this. If possible I would really appreciate it if you help me with this. If not, it could be a good feature for future releases of the program.

This particular spot was BTN vs BB single raise pot. However, once I started solving blind vs blind single raised pots I noticed that is almost impossible for my computer to solve the database of 163 flops (on most flops there is not enough memory to solve them). But once I start to solve them separately GTO+ works perfectly so it would be cool if I could solve them on different files but then be able to group them on just one database.

Thank you for making GTO+ Scylla. Its an incredible program for a good price. Big fan of Flopzilla Pro here too!
