I'm really liking GTO+. I do have 2 quality of life suggestions/requests. 1) Change Range 1 and Range 2 to OOP and IP Range. It's just more intuitive when modeling. 2) Add an option with "Process all files in a directory" to shutdown the computer on completion.

You can make change #1 yourself by editing the text file for your language of choice in "C:\Program Files\GTO\config\languages" Just open "english.txt", for example, and then find and replace every instance of "Range 1" and "Range 2" with OOP and IP. The only caveat is that you will need to do this again every time the software is updated (or save a modified english.txt file somewhere that you copy/paste post-update).

I know the software can convert Pio ranges for copy/paste input. However, I have a bunch of Pio ranges in txt files that I'd like to import into GTO+. I could import them all by copy/pasting but it would take forever.

Any plans to make direct importing Pio ranges from text files possible in GTO+? I'd really appreciate this and I know it would be useful for anyone who has purchased one of the pre-flop solutions out there. Thanks.

1) I think I'll just change it to "Range 1 (OOP)" and "Range 2 (IP)".
2) I'm not sure if that's technically possible. It might also mean the computer shutting down while some other program is performing some irreversible process.

Ok, can you send the files to support so that I can take a look at them?

Hi Scylla,

I had a few questions/suggestions after playing about with GTO+:

1. Is there a way to change the colours of the matrix? They look quite vibrant on my screen when multiple sizings are used and sometimes it's hard to digest the information.

2. Is there a way to display the matrix by equity? I think this is an important feature GTO+ is missing. Right now it shows the colours of certain actions taking place, call, fold. I think it would be very helpful to be able to view the matrix by equity too. Right now the only place we can do that is via the distribution bars, which is neat but nowhere near as visually helpful when trying to get a complete overview.

3. How do we save profiles for different scenarios? i.e. BTNvBB, BvB. I am guessing the only way to do it is to fill out both ranges and create a save file? There doesn't seem to be a way to quickly view and load presets for this like we can do with the bet-sizing profiles if I'm not mistaken.

4. Is there a way to instantly toggle between IP and OOP's range on any given node without having to click back to a previous node?

5. How do we view equity realisation % information for each range at any given node?

1. Those are stored in /config/settings.txt under [ACTION COLORS]. They can also be edited by going to the editor and clicking on "Edit action colors" (you may need to click on "IMPORT TREE" before the "Edit action colors" button is visible).

2. We offer many different output methods, but right at this moment not this particular one. Something along these lines will be available shortly though.

3. You can store your settings in the advanced tree builder with a profile. For this, click on "Edit profiles" to store your settings as a default configuration.

If you mean that you want to duplicate a certain tree, but with a different board/ranges/rake, then just create/load that tree, change the board/ranges/etc as you see fit, go to "Build tree", go to the "Rebuild" tab and click on "Rebuild with current settings".

4. Only the information for the player who is making decisions is displayed. However, the next update is expected to offer an option to view information on the other player's range as well.

5. To see EV performance vs expected performance based on EV, click on the graph icon below the table. There, plot Equity vs EV. The blue line in the graph indicates the expected profit based on EV. Some hands will perform below this line, and other above it. For example, if stacks are deep, draws tend to perform better than their EV, and paired hands with no draws will perform worse.

Is it possible to force a betting frequency across all flops when using database mode? I want to compare the ev of a range bet strategy vs one that mixes betting and checking.

Ty scylla, that helped a lot. Looking forward to the upcoming changes!

No, it's not possible for us to do this, given that a frequency still doesn't tell us which hands to bet with.

If it's a range bet we are betting all hands at 100%.

Oh, that's possible.
For that, just use the editor and remove the "Check" action from your tree.
After that, build a database from that edited tree.

Not at the moment no.
I can consider it for later releases, but right at this moment we do not offer such a feature.

Hi Scylla, apologies if this has already been asked, but are there any plans to add subtree solving like pio has in the future? By this I mean given a flop solution, after choosing a turn(river) card I would like to be able to add additional turn(river) bet sizes for the players and solve this new tree rooted at the turn(river). I'm aware that adding turn sizings after the flop has already been solved then re-solving the turn will produce turn ranges that differ from equilibrium turn ranges had the extra turn sizings initially existed in the full flop tree.
Thanks

This should be available for edited turns in flop trees in v119. Edited rivers in flop trees (with constant flop+turn) haven't been added yet, but I expect that we should be able to make this work out as well.

A suggestion for the UI - when viewing a node, maybe have a button to expand/zoom in on each of the hand matrix, strategy table, and strength bucket UI elements. They are all a bit small even on my 24in monitor, so being able to zoom in on them would be nice. Also after zooming in on the hand matrix there would be some room where more info (like exact frequencies) could be displayed. Lastly can the columns in the strategy table be sortable?

Have you considered just making the window larger? The interface is scalable, so as long as it fits on your monitor, you can stretch it to any size.

Can you specify in more detail which columns you're referring to?

+1

I'm assuming he means this:

When right clicking a statistic to filter, it would be really great if we could sort this column out by the header titles (hand, equity, percentages/combos etc).

Ok, I can consider it for later releases.
It won't be possible to add it to v119 though, given that this would be a bit too close to release.

Hello! Sorry for bad English.
Can you please tell me how to remove the donk bet turn and river.
I put "dont donk" in "build tree".
In "edit tree: remove bets OOP", the choice "on turn", "on river" is not removed.

Is it planned to translate the program into Russian? thank

There's two approaches for this.

The first is to select "Use custom settings for turn/river".
There click on the little triangle for more options.
And now select "Don't donk".

It's also possible to let the tree builder distinguish between probe bets, continuation bets and donk bets. For this enter a 'p' 'c' or 'd' after the value that you have entered. If you don't want to donk, but do want to probe or continuation bet, then only enter values for those bets.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Hey Scylla. I am wondering why gto+ window becomes unresponsive so often while just browsing a solution. I have this problem on 2 diffferent computers, computers which both have plenty of disk, ram, and cpu available. When this happens there is always some disk usage happening from gto+ almost like when saving a file. it is a little bit frustrating to have to wait for 30s to a minute every 2min when viewing a solution :/
