The problem there is that we would be overwriting someone's savefile without their consent. There's cases where someone might not want to save, but the software does it anyhow, losing their savefile. For example load a database that has value to you, then create a new database but forget to create a new savefile for it, run the solver and ... your previous database has just been deleted. Or perhaps load a savefile from an external disk, start the solver and remove the disk. One solution here is to save to an internal temporary savefile, but this only works if people know that it's there. So, although it's technically not too difficult, there's a lot of potential conflicts here that do not occur when using the "process folder" feature.
