when I enter, it tells me a new beta software is ready to install, perhaps this means i do not have the right one?
There's a new update that was recently released, so you might want to try updating to it.

The last time I checked on virustotal, 55 out of 55 virus scanners considered it safe, so with any luck Avira and Panda Gold will agree.

will this work with one opponent?
will this work with more than one?
Multiway trees tend to get pretty large very fast, so from a practical point of view you should be able to do this, but only if you keep the postflop play somewhat simplified. Building some huge tree that takes play on an unknown flop+turn+river into account is probably not going to work. Regarding implied odds, all future actions are always taken into account into the calculations, so there's no problems there.

Thank you.
The current setup does not allow for full trials, however, the trial system will be changed shortly to a variant where the only limitation is the flop that you can select. So maybe that will work better for you.
