Using CREV 3.12.

Whenever I create a custom range, it doesn't persist.

For example, if I do the following:

1. Select a bunch of hands in the holecard range popup.
2. Click Store range and give it a name. Click Ok.
3. Click Done.
4. Re-open the Holecard range pop-up.
5. The previously stored range will not be there.

How can I store my ranges?

Bug report:
Ran crEV without admin rights, tried to load some conditions from multiconditions menu, didin't work, but also didn't throw any warning or explanation. Then ran crEV with admin rights and everything worked fine. It is not first time when running crEV as non admin gets into the troubles without any good warning for the user.

Also faced second bug:
Assigned variable to preflop, when starting tree at the flop (ignoring preflop raising options. There was multiple problems related to calculations, like some in one file F5 and F7 produced quite different results with completed tree. but after reopening it with another instances it was working correctly. After using some scripting (changing variable and plotting graph) caused such things.

Then started new instance, replicated everything except that now I add preflop building and everything worked fine. I got general observation, that I faced a multiple different problems over my crEV usage when I am starting tree on the flop, but those problems was not occuring when I was building tree from preflop.

It sounds like you're not running as an administrator.
Are you running through CardRunnersEV.exe (the icon on your desktop)?
If not, then please run as admin.

Yes, you're supposed to run as an administrator. Running through CardRunnersEV.exe (which is the icon that's placed on your desktop) should accomplish that. If for some reason you choose to run one of the other .exe files then you'll need to run as admin.

I would need to see a savefile. I've just tried based on this description, but F5 and F7 give the same results. Is it possible that this was for v311? There were some special cases where the new math engine was not yet working properly.

Another question, is there an easy way to keep my ranges from Flopzilla in sync with with CREV (and vice-versa)?

Didn't save the file, but that happened when:
a) I skipped preflop tree building (started on the flop)
b) I assigned one players range as #11 (variable)
c) I changed that variable using script. At that time when variable 100% I used to get one more error- program can't run enough simulations or something. Don't recall text, but it occurs when conditions is not reached to get enough simulations.

Now I can't tell what exactly version I have, because I use last version, program doesn't ask me to update it but two different versions shows me non 3.11:

You can import/export from CardRunnersEV with "File->Export/Import program settings to text block". And you can import/export from Flopzilla with "File->Export/import predefined ranges".

Without a savefile there's not that much I can do here.
This could be anything and it's not necessarily a bug.
There might be a genuine reason for that message.

How difficult would it be to add use of equilibrium tool for multiway scenarios preflop and postflop? Tools like Holdem resources already has multiway preflop equilibrium solving.

Bug report:

a) Clicking on file.stx doesn't launch application
b) launching application and draging stx to window doesn't open save file
c) Opening save file via Open dialog works.

Yes, you're supposed to open files with Ctrl+O or File->Open. Maybe at some point in the future I can look into the ability to open files by double-clicking them, but this is not something that I can give priority to at the moment given the amount of effort it would take versus what it would add to the software.

what is the formula for dEV ? In your videos you say its the $ amount that could be gained from another strategy per hand, so i can compare it to starting stack sizes?
what would you recommend the target for flop/turn/river simulations?

I just tried a bigger flop calculation, came up with dEV of 0.09 in 4000 seconds using 100 starting stacks and 15 pot otf.
Does this mean villain could exploit me for 9bb/100 ?

/ also when i pause the calculating process and resume it, does it start all over?

Two things have happened since i installed the new version over , i cannot open .stx documents double clicking in a folder (crev has stopped working) but have to open then in crev.
Stored ranges weights have misteriously disappeared : ( , does crev store those in the customranges txt ? (i have that empty)
