I uninstalled and reinstalled the software using your link. There's still no sign of the equilibrium files , also it's saying I'm on trial mode and I need to register.
How do I get my licence key?

Thanks

Any update on the ETA for equity distribution graphs? That would be an awesome feature. Thanks!

That was added some time ago in the form of the range composition tool.

Compute a tree (F7) and mouse over an action/condition or the EV for a decision:

Press Alt+A.
This will bring up the range composition tool.

Now click on "Show selection as graph" with all hands selected.

In the graph, place "Nr." on the X-axis and "Equity" on the Y-axis.

Oops, I need to learn to update. Sorry, heh. Looks great. Thanks!

One question: any plans on being able to plot, for instance heads-up, both player's equity distributions on the same graph?

There is One feature i am missing in HRC,
When i am looking the graph showing how much range% vilain need to be shoving for hero calling start to be EV+ to calls the shove (btw i dont know if CREV have this feature, is it possible to look this?)

In that case you cant exclude some hands (premiums)
Because in most of the spots, in this exemple , vilain will not shove premiums , so i would like to know how much range% vilain needs to shove for my call be EV+ , excluding AA KK QQ etc.

It that possible to do?

thank you very much!

And btw this new update is very very good , thanks for your work!

I'm afraid I don't really understand what graph you're talking about.
Could you be a bit more specific please?

Is it possible to set the conditions for an action based around the ranking of each hand in a players range against the villains range.

Eg. I want to have an action such that the top and bottom 25% of the hands in my range v villains range is raised and the middle 50% are checked?

thanks

This graph in HRC http://gyazo.com/419efda86e0fda5075f26bc609001534

Is plot range vs hand equity, you choose your hand, and the graph show you how much range opponent have to shove (or call ) for your hand being EV+ to call (or shove)

-Can i look this in CREV?
-Would be awesome to have the same feature, but being able to exclude hands, (premiums)

thank you, i hope i explain myself better hehe

I suppose the easiest way of getting this done is by using the range composition tool.

For this, perform the action with "all hands".
Then compute the tree (F7) and mouse over the action.
Press Alt+A for the range composition tool.

In the table, sort by equity. In the matrix on the left use the blue slider to select the top% and the red slider to select the bottom%. Accept your selection with "Accept current selection".

See pic below:

PS:
This will only work on known boards.
For future releases I might be able to add unknow boards as well, but for now that's not available.

You should be able to write a script for this. I've written the scripting system so that people could design their own custom features like this. For more on the scripting system go to "Help->Video manual" in CardRunnersEV's menu and watch the videos "Advanced: Writing scripts".

What you would need to do here is write a loop that varies villain's top % with which he shoves. And then for every % measure the EV and store it in a graph.

If this is preflop you can just use a regular graph and measure hero's EV for every top%. For this watch the video "How to make a graph" under "The basics".

See below for an example.

Here's a savefile: www.cardrunnersev.com/savefiles/shovefile.stx

And here's a script that varies the top % from 5% to 100%:

For your convenience, here's a link to the script.
You can load it into CardRunnersEV by saving it to the /scripts subdirectory:

www.cardrunnersev.com/savefiles/shove.txt

To run the script, double-click the script icon in the lower right and click on "Load script".
Then click on "Run script".

To remove a certain top% of the range, place some action on top that is taken with this top%.
In this manner it won't make it to the part of the tree where villain shoves into you.
Here's a savefile:
www.cardrunnersev.com/savefiles/shovefile2.stx

You can fill this top action with the desired top% by using the range composition tool.
For this, see the previous post.

Thanks Scylla for the response, very helpful.

I appreciate you are busy developing other bits of CREV, but would be a good addition to include for unknow boards too, and better yet if you can include this in the hand selection section so instead of selecting on the basis of whether you have a pair or not, you can use relative equity.

I had wondered whether this might be possible to achieve via your scripting tool, but couldn't see how.

thanks again

Hi Scylla,

Did Pokerstars ever get back to you about having a version of crEV that could run at the same time as the Stars software without breaking their rules?

I've had contact with them and they have told me that they have disabled the automated warnings for CardRunnersEV on PokerStars. So that's my most recent knowledge on the matter. If you want to be sure though you should probably just mail them yourself.

I'm trying to compare the ev between calling and shoving and i'm a little bit confused .
1. Ev for calling . I see there 2 ev values .The first one is calculated based on the value of "extra chips" and blinds and 2nd is based on the value of the pot after i'm calling .

2. ev of soving .I see just 1 ev calc based on extra money and blinds

Why is crev not taking into consideration the pot with the villain raise when is computing ev for preflop ?
What is the correct way to compare the ev of 2 actions ?

Hey scylla, I have 3.1.0 version, however Custom sheckdown list is not there (missing C button)

EDIT 1: Actually it is, but only for preflop, postflop there is no [C]
EDIT 2: LOL it is, but only for SB (modeling BB vs SB game).

Hi,
is there a possibility to calculate the EV of the full tree? If I am not mistaken, the SW is calculating only the EV for the particular action not taking into consideration future moves....
thanks

That option is only available for preflop play. However, given that you may still want to use it in case of checking down immediately after you hit the flop (in a preflop tree) it is available for the first decision on the flop as well. If you want to check down for BB instead of SB, then just add a checkdown for SB and select BB in the checkdown menu:

Future actions are included in the EV calculations, so it already works like this.

Hi,

If you ever need a new key for any reason you can simply request it on the website. Your new key will be sent to you within a few minutes.

CardRunnersEV: http://www.cardrunnersev.com/requestkey.html
Flopzilla: http://www.flopzilla.com/requestkey.html

In the field "Hardware ID" fill in the ID given to you by the startup message.

There’s no need to copy the ID by hand.
Once the message appears, it has already been copied to the clipboard.
Just use Ctrl+V to paste it into the form.

Return to trial mode?
In order to return Flopzilla to trial mode so you can register again, please go to its main directory (right-click its icon and then select "open file location"). There, run AlternateReg.exe and click on "Remove registration".

If you require further assistance, then please mail support.

Cheers,

Scylla
