I've started getting this error too now. It saves a few hundred hands. Then fails. I am running as an admin on XP Professional.

Hmmm I'm assuming you downloaded the latest version?

Can you tell me (either here or by pm) what levels and game types you are datamining so I can try to reproduce the problem?

Hi Neko,

I had two windows open. Cash $3/$6 limit poker and $5/$10 limit poker. Only two tables were open as the rest were empty.

Hi Sharimar,

Can you confirm that you downloaded the version you are using from www.evplusplus.com/poker_tools/ub_mine/ ?

I just datamined 1000 hands from six 2/4-5/10 limit holdem tables including, turbo, turbo jackpot, 6handed and 9 handed and haven't been able to reproduce the problem.

Next time you get the error can you tell me the exact table names and whether they are jackpot, turbo etc. Thanks.

Hi Neko,

I tried recreating it last night. It didn't occur until about 4 hours after I'd started. And then the virtual machine crashed when I tried to copy it! ;{

I find this puzzling - why ban the collection of information that is publicly available? This is all too reminiscent of all the silliness around DRM and music downloads...

If I were a poker room, I would:

1) Provide a public api to enable full datamining of my site

For those who worry about privacy (illusory though it is), I would...

2) Allow 'private' rooms

3) Allow for instant username obfuscation at any time.

Does anyone know of any poker sites that do username obfuscation?

I don't know of any sites that allow you to change your screen name on demand, but Party allows you to change once every two weeks, which makes things like Poker Table Ratings less useful.
