I got your hand history via email, thanks. Unfortunately, it works perfectly for me! Imports fine, HUD displays correctly, hands appear in profit graph and replayer (although 5-card omaha doesn't work quite right in the replayer). I have no idea what is going wrong on your computer. Sorry

the error i guess it is in the reading of hands with another date? is there a way to purge the db? I sometimes use pokertracker in the same pc will this have something to do with it?

I don't believe any old releases work with the seals microstakes tables, which came out after the last fpdb update.

I finally got the HUD to work using the above fix after months of messing around with fpd for months on and off

Should I always be using install_fpdb.bat to launch the program instead of fpdb.exe, or was it only necessary to fix something that was missing?

great piece of software! i had been using it on betonline/chico and it works great however i recently started playing on lowvig which is also chico network and the hand history files look the same except for the name betonline and lowvig ... i tried to import the lowvig hands through the betonline converter and they do not work but i was wondering if there was any quick fix for this since the format seems to be almost identical... thanks for any info

Should be trivial to fix if you are running from source. Otherwise you'll need to send in a hand history or two and wait for a new release.

If you don't know, you're not doing it.

It means downloading the source code (probably using git), installing python + the library dependencies manually, and running fpdb from the command line with python.

I don't want to interrupt the discussion going on, but could someone point me to the right direction of setting this thing up? I feel like it has a lot of potential, but I can't seem to find any decent (up 2 date) tutorials on how to get the HUD running for example.

Good news, everyone! I've just posted another release here. Highlights:

• hand viewer now has a progress dialog while loading hands
• support for draw and stud games in the replayer
• replayer now supports hand lists so you can load up a whole session and go through hand by hand (will make it possible to load up tournaments later)
• windows build
• previously mentioned SWC fixes

That's right, windows users, I girded my loins and built a binary for you. Download fpdb-win-0.41.0-rc3.zip from above link, unzip it somewhere and run fpdb.exe in the folder.

It was a bit of a nightmare to put together and I fully expect it to break a lot. Let me know when it does and I'll try to fix it! I only tested on Windows 7, which is what I built it on. Known issue: I didn't build Qt with full unicode support so if you are using a non-english translation it might not work. Like really not work. So try changing back to english (ui_language="en") before you complain, please.
