Forget the 2 previous questions, I've now found out that I can balk import whole folders as well. The only problem is it's showing I've played a number of hands at NL100 when I'm sure I haven't. I'll look into it more.
Still if anyone knows if it supports Rush poker I'd like to know, otherwise I'll find out myself soon I guess, lol.

Hi guys, tried out program last night runs good. I have a question, i play mainly tournys and i cant get the results to show up for my tournys. It shows how many i played but wont show what place, how many ive won, and ROI. I am on the merge network, and im not sure what files to import for tourny results. I tried importing my hand historys there but it just freezes. Also i found a link to your IRC channel last night that opened in a webbrowser and can't find the link again, if someone know what that is that would be great. Look forward to useing this and thanks in advance.

Hello there, i'm having some problems with fpdb in this case all tourney that I have on the fpdb dosent show any profit, in fact I have won, and they dont show the profit from the ones I won... Any help?

Every time I open a new table, I need to reclick the start auto import button
in order for the new table to be taken into account and have the hud starting for that table too.

I love the idea of making an open source poker tracker and FPDB v0.39.1 is actually very good, I'm impressed and thrilled. I saw in the help tab you need some assistance for translating the program to another languages and I think I can help you with Portuguese. I'm a native Portuguese speaker and I think I'm not bad with english so if you wish, I may help you.

I just installed ftdb .debpackage under xubuntu and imported 2 fifty50 tournements (pokerstars). Files are imported, but fpdb seems to be unable to cope with the payout-structure and incorrectly displays a loss while i finished in the money twice.
Is it possible to configure the payoutstructure fpdb uses for these tournements?

No, not as far as I know.

I have a Zoom hud working on Linux in development code, but windows is much more difficult to support and won't be happening in the near future.
Rush hud isn't currently supported, but when it is, it will be in the same situation as Zoom.
Zoom and Rush hands can be imported normally into fpdb for offline statistics.


Tournament results need to be imported separately once the game is over. This function is supported for Stars and FTP only.
Option is Import/Tournament Results Import. Select the folder where the tournament results are stored (this is set in the poker client, I think).

Please check you have imported the tournament results. Tournaments need two imports - one import for the hands played (bulk import) and another import for the results (import/Tournament Results Import). The tournament results import needs to be pointed at the folder on your system which contains the result files. This location is specified in the poker client.

If that doesn't fix it, can you reply again and I'll take a look.

You can switch off the auto-display of the last cards played.

If you are running 0.39.1 version, edit the configuration, search for keyword "mucked".
Change any entries from
aux="Classic_HUD, mucked"
to
aux="Classic_HUD"

If you are running an earlier fpdb, edit the configuration, search for "mucked"
Change any entries from
<game aux="mucked"
to
<game aux=""

Tnks for the help gimick, it worked properly doing what you said another question, my HUD dosent appear when im playing on rings I only have the options on the top left, can you help me with that too?

hmmm not sure. Could you start the hud and then take a look in the log files to see if there are any errors or warnings?

Log files are at help/log messages - the ones of interest are HUD errors, HUD log and HUDmain_exe.log

Also could you confirm fpdb-version, computer operating system, which pokerroom and which type of game (holdem, omaha, stud or whatever).

I've tried to make this go wrong on Debian/Pokerstars/PLO cash, and haven't been successful so far.
Next time you have the problem, could you email the HUD-log.txt and HUD-error.txt over to me?

Thanks - this looks like the issue:
The stat name for called a raise is actually car0 (carzero).

To fix this, best to edit the configuration and change the stat-name.

Close down fpdb first.

Configuration can be found by:
XP...
start...
run....
enter %appdata%
select fpdb folder

Configuration file is HUD_config.xml

Edit this file, search for "car" in the stat definitions and update to "car0"

Save, start fpdb, all should now be OK.

Does this program support Enerpoker network?

1) I used 0.39 version on ubuntu 12.10 and it runs pretty well
sometimes global lock don't run and I have to restart my computer

2) The HUD runs well but I can't import hands neither tournament result, so graphics don't run.
I play with french winamax which runned with previous version

3) Why the hud stats are with 2 decimals by default and what the way to have 1 decimal ? (I know how play with 0)

Sorry my mistake, works fine under Debian.
Must be an Arch specific problem, not mentionworthy.

This is probably not related, but from memory.... for Archlinux the hashbang needs to be changed in all executable scripts - this is because Arch default python is 3x but we need 2.7 to run. If you are having any strange trouble with Arch, might be worth doublechecking the first line of the HUD_main.py, run_fpdb.py and fpdb.pyw is pointing to the correct python intepreter.

With the latest version (0.39.1) sometimes I get a very long waiting time
when I start the auto importer or when I update ring player stats.
I never had to wait to start the "auto import and HUD", of course
even with previous versions I had to wait a little to get/filter
stats with a big database, but now I have a very small one
(30k hands using sqlite).

ENV: Linux, PokerStars.it, Cash Game NLHE 6max

Anyone else noticed this problem?

Other minor issues:
- trasparency/opacity not working (not sure if that was a new feature of the
latest version, it never worked for me)
- empty seats get a hud window with weird chars
- no reduced brightness for inactive seats

Configurable Popups are very useful. Great work overall.
