is it speedier with postgres? default install with 50k hands is very slow on session stats and graphs

Right now I don't think we support non-default ports unfortunately.

Postgres and MySQL are recommended for anything over around 100k. If you are seeing serious slowdowns at 50k it's probably worth switching over.

The values come from 2 different tables. The HUD Cache and the HandsPlayers table. I'm not sure why the discrepancy. I'll take a look.

1. I changed the language game to English in Pokerstar.
2. I changed the FPDB program to English
3. The hand history is also in English.

With these changes started a tournament and immediately gave me the stats and HUD, but my PC got a little slower. However, still in the "Tournament statistics" do not appear profits, ROI and $/Tournament.

I think the problem is the translation.

The .exe and .deb versions should be available in the next couple of days.

I was offline for a little while with elective surgery that prevented me from being able to type, so the number of changes in this release are a lot higher than i'd like. This is both good and bad. Bad because the final 0.30 release is at least a week away and there are quite a few major changes backing up in developer repositories, good because it means FPDB development is active and healthy

Release Notes for 0.29.906:
- Zoom parsing for PokerStars. Expect lots of log errors if you play Zoom ; when you auto-import the hand histories, the HUD will attempt to work and fail.
- Pacific/888 update for both cash games and tournament. Hud should now work for both.
- Startup and logging fixes for non-ascii folders (see below)
- HM and PT3 exported files should import much more cleanly
- Bug 129 - Green line is now always on top
- Bug 138 - EUR symbol not displayed in Replayer
- FTP Tourney fixes for files containing 10K or 5M in blind levels
- Everest USD should now work
- Tournament results import no longer rebuilds the hudcache(!) after every import. Massive speed improvement for anyone with 10k+ hhs that plays tourneys.
- Party should now parse split pot games
- iPoker.it should now parse
- Reduce iterations for EV calculations (100k to 50k)
- OnGame antes should now work
- Winamax summary files can now be imported.
- Stars home games should work again
- Italian translation update.

I'm looking to fix any remaining HUD issues for Merge and OnGame before the next release, if you are having issues i'm looking for:
a) Lines from the log surrounding "Merge.getTableTitleRe: returns: "
b) The text from the poker tables title bar.

Notes:

Pokerstars players:
- The HUD will only work if Pokerstars play-in language must be English (This is set in Pokerstars/Language/Play in...)
- The history files must be activated and saved in English. We recommend saving history files for 9999 days, rather than the default 30 days. All these options are set in Pokerstars/Options/Instant HandHistory Options.... and in Pokerstars/Options/Tournament Summary Options....
- Zoom HUD with not work.

Windows users:
- The fpdb package must be run from a folder path which contains US-english chars only.
- Vista/Windows7 users - The windows login username must be an admininstrator (this is set in the control panel)
- Previous issues with accented characters in usernames should be fixed for this release.

Only the Italian translation was updated since the last release, if you'd like to see FPDB translated now is the time.

i've installed fpdb and use it for ongame,
a few questions:

- the cbet / fold to cbet stats for 5 card draw are not working,
any idea to fix this?

- how can i change the colour of single stats?
so far i've only mamaged to change the size.

Its unlikely you've installed something wrong. Much more likely that the cbet/fcbet stats are broken for limit games.

Firstly, hope you're feeling better after the surgery and many thanks for making this program available for free: I've been running this for the last few weeks on XP PRO SP3 and playing on pokerstars (2NLHE 6 max), and had no problems with the basic setup for up to three tables at once.

I have been having problems customising the HUD, though, with the last version and the latest one (0.29.906) although I assume the fault lies with me somewhere

To keep it simple, I've just been trying to replace cb_1 with a_freq_123

I have found the file HUD_config.xml (which was originally called HUD_config.xml.example which I opened up with notepad and then saved again) and just literally replaced cb_1 with a_freq_123 so my new code looks like this:

However, all it does is just continue displaying continuation bet on the flop (cb_1) in the same position on the HUD when I'm playing a game.

Have I been editing the wrong file or is there some other bit in this particular file I also need to edit, perhaps?
