Under settings in flopzilla I don't have this option. I have flopzilla v1.8.4 and holdeq v1.1.5

Ok, are you running Flopzilla through Flopzilla.exe, or possibly one of the different .exe files? Some people seem to run Flopzilla_C.exe directly, which means that they are not running as admin. So, can you please run both Flopzilla_C.exe and HoldEq.exe as admin and try again?
One more approach that often resolves issues is to uninstall and reinstall to a different directory. This should ensure a fresh reinstall, just in case somehow a file was corrupted.
Other than that, this is an issue that can occur if you never reboot your computer. The problem is that never rebooting will interfere with HoldEq's timer. So, should you never reboot your system, then I expect that rebooting will resolve your issue.
Finally, please set an exception in your virus scanner, given that it may be interfering with the software.
