I've tried reinstallation in different location, downloaded from that specific link you provided, the problem still remained.

Ok, I think I've tracked down the issue.
Please try again.

For that, go to "Commands" in the menu.
It sounds like you're looking for either:
- Commands->Text output
- Commands->Range string output

Purchased a license a while ago and I must say I'm very satisfied with flopzilla. I was using Equilab and I can say that flopzilla is faster and better overall.

Just a little suggestion:

Can you add preflop charts like Equilab? I know I can do it manually but it will be nice if you add it by default (or maybe a downloadable file to install?)

Speaking of that, where are the files for the pf hands stored? I just spend a ton of time customizing mine and want to backup the file, but not necessarily the whole folder. Thanks.

EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm not sure which folder these get saved to. There's C:\Program Files (x86)\Flopzilla\Flopzilla\standardfiles but there's also C:\Users\[MyName]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Flopzilla\Flopzilla\ranges. I'm a bit confused about what the difference is between these two locations.

This is how confusing windows7 compared winXP. The 1st it the correct path IMO

It will be nice if scylla add more choice than the default sk-ch and sk-mal (sorry maybe I'm just too lazy to do it myself -- )

One other minor GUI question. Is there a way to have Flopzilla remember the window size when it restarts? I have to resize it every time I launch the program it to fit the options on the bottom (a couple of the "Random" buttons) on the right (the "Hotness" section). Not major, but kind of annoying. Thanks.

If you want to see how a range hits a random flop, just enter the range and click on the Flopzilla logo.

They are saved to newdefs.txt.

I'll deal with this issue for the next update.

I suppose I could add an option to store the window size.

Or just make the default size large enough to see all the features on the screen. Even launching it on my smallish monitor, there's plenty of room to expand.

I would like to do accomplish the following: the flop is Xs Xd Xd. On the blank turn I need to filter for hands that have exactly one diamond. Is that possible at all?

Flopzilla only works for known flops/turns/rivers.
For more complex analysis I can offer you CardRunnersEV.

The cards are known, for instance Kd 5s 5d, turn 9h. On the turn, can I filter for the A high hands with Ad?

I can only assume that at the flop you filtered for flushdraws?
And wish to do so again at the turn?
In that case, any suited A high at that point should be a diamond anyhow.

See this savefile:

[Flopzilla v1.5.9]
[Use Ctrl+I to import into Flopzilla]

To import it into Flopzilla, go to "Save/load->Import forum/e-mail text block" and copy paste the code above into the dialog.

As you can see in the screenshot below, all suited A high hands already have a diamond:

Other than that, for more on Flopzilla's filter operations, please watch the instructional video "Video 2: The filter system". Also, if you want to filter specifically for suits, Flopzilla doés offer a system to filter for those as well. For that watch "Bonus video 1: Suit selection". Go here for those videos: http://www.flopzilla.com/video.html

I filtered for Ace highs on the flop and I want only A highs with Ad to continue on the turn.

If you're talking about suited aces, then just filter for flushdraws.
If you're talking about offsuit aces, then the only way to do that would be to use the suit select menu. For that, please watch the video "Bonus video 1: Suit selection" here: http://www.flopzilla.com/video.html

I just downloaded the installer yesterday. Since then, I've tried to install a few times. Each time I install and run the program, I get

"The following files appear to have been corrupted:
limit.txt, nolimit.txt, skl_max.txt, skl_chub.txt, HUai.txt, predefs.txt, README.txt

The software has attempted to fix the problem, however failed to restore them.
To fix this problem, please uninstall Flopzilla and go to www.cardrunners-ev-calculator.com for the latest version"

It sounds like Flopzilla does not have writing priviliges in the directory it's currently installed in.

Please try:

Running as admin
For that, right-click Flopzilla's icon and select "run as administrator"

Try running from another location
Copy the entire directory to a location where you definitely dó have priviliges. For example, copy the /Flopzilla directory to your /Downloads directory.

Running it as administrator (once) seems to have done it. Subsequent runs have not required me to run it as administrator.

Ok, I think I'll change that error message then for future versions.
Thanks for the feedback!

Hey I have a small feature request. I have a couple hundred ranges saved now. When I am going through doing general analysis I sometimes forget which range i have selected. Since the last selected range does not stay blue in the selection menu I sort of need to scroll through to see which one it is. Could we have the title of the selected range appear in the menu bar or have the last selected range remain highlighted in blue until the next range is selected? Either would be fine.

Kudos again on a truly remarkable piece of analysis software.
