When I start the program, it's still ok and shows about 87 MB of RAM usage. But when I (for example) put in a 44% preflop range and click on the green mascot for preflop calculations, the RAM usage shoots up to 611 MB while calculating (and not going back down afterwards). Flopzilla stores tables in memory to speed up the calculation process.
The second time around it saves ... mmmh ... about 15% calculation time.
That's probably not enough to justify the memory use.
I'll have to give that part of the code another look and figure out how/why I did that.
I seem to remember that on my previous system this trick saved a lot more time.
Anyhow, I'll take a look.
