Well here's a little high school math.
We have two players, player A and player B.
Both their ranges have hit X% of the time.
The situations you're looking for are:
- Player A has hit but Player B has not
- Player B has hit but Player A has not
- Player A and B have both hit
However, there's only one situation left, which is that neither player has hit.
This will occur (100%-X)*(100%-X).
So one of the other situations will occur 100%-(100%-X)*(100%-X).
For example, if one player has hit 74% of the time, then two players will hit 1-(1-.74)*(1-.74)=.9324 or in other words 93% of the time.
