Ok, we will consider adding it to FlopzillaPro as well.

hello scylla,
In the pro version, is it possible to export as text to share in forum as it was possible in v1 ? I cannot find it :/

In FlopzillaPro, your ranges are stored in /config/newdef3.txt.
Most likely the full directory will be C:\Program Files (x86)\FlopzillaPro\FlopzillaPro\config\newdef3.txt
To share (or backup) your ranges, simply offer a copy of that file.

Hello - quick question for you.

If I use the "apply group" feature to group combos in a few categories - Say "Group 1" or "Group 2". And I select very specific combinations for each. Is there a way to see how many combos or what percent of range is either group 1 or group 2. I can only seem to use the pie chart to view the various filters that have been changes to different colors.

The combos for each group are displayed in the pie chart, as well as below it.
Press TAB to view the same data, converted to percentages.

In the screenshot below, there's 92 combos in blue, 46 in green, 19 in purple, and 297 hands that are not assigned to a group.

Thank you. That part I understand. However, my question is if instead of using the filters I use the “apply” groups manual filter from the left side of the screen. How do I see the number of combos I’ve selected from the grid.

After having stored the grouped range to the predefs, mousing over it should display a popup with the distribution.
Such a popup is however currently not displayed while creating the group.
I'll make a note of this, and add it for v211.

I'm sorry, I don't think I'm explaining myself well. In your examples your selecting the preselected groupings. I'm asking about the manual groupings. See below.

Yes, that what I was referring to.
If you click on "Add range", and add the grouped range to the predefs, then a popup with the distribution will appear when you mouse over it.
See the pic below for an example of such a popup (in the right of the pic).
I have made a note to also display a similar popup while creating the grouped range, for v211.

if I were to get another computer, how do I transfer my custom ranges to the new machine? What/where are the files located?

If you're using Flopzilla v1, then your ranges are stored in C:\Program Files (x86)\Flopzilla\Flopzilla\newdefs2.txt

If you're using FlopzillaPro, then your custom settings will be stored in the files in /config.
The full directory will most likely be C:\Program Files (x86)\FlopzillaPro\FlopzillaPro\config.
You only need to copy the files; not the directories.

so I would just need to copy/paste these files into the "config" folder of the new computer?

I've built a ton of predefined ranges and have mostly been using Flopzilla on my main machine, but I want to start using it on my laptop as well ... and thus I'd love to be able to transfer these ranges over to the new system. The only options I see for exporting info of any kind is just related to files for the forums/email.

Is there another way to do this that I'm not seeing? Hope that makes sense. Thanks!

From your description, I assume that you're referring to Flopzilla v1?
For Flopzilla v1, your ranges are stored in the file newdefs2.txt, in the same directory as Flopzilla.exe.
Most likely the full directory will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Flopzilla\Flopzilla\newdefs2.txt.
To transfer your ranges to the new computer, simply copy this file.

Indeed, I'm using Flopzilla 1. Thanks for the info. I was hoping it would be a tad easier, but that'll work!

Btw, does Flopzilla 2 allow for an easier transfer or ranges and other prefs between two machines? Just curious. I haven't downloaded it yet.

In FlopzillaPro, the ranges are stored in C:\Program Files (x86)\FlopzillaPro\FlopzillaPro\config\newdefs3.txt.
You can also import your files from Flopzilla v1 with "Settings->Import predef ranges" in the menu.

I assume that this is for storing a grouped range to the predefs in FlopzillaPro?

For this:
1) Click the downwards arrow to get access to more options.
2) Select "Apply groups".
3) Drag the desired groups to the bar at the bottom of the menu.
4) Click on the bar to set the desired distribution of groups
5) Select any hands that you like in the matrix
6) When done, click on "Add range"; this will store your grouped range to the predefs

With FlopzillaPro, I'm getting a pause that lasts for numerous seconds when saving a new range. It's like it just hangs there. I can browse around the screen but have to wait for the new range to be added. I'm on a new, more powerful computer than my last one and it never hitched or slowed while running any of your software, including GTO+. Any idea what's going on here? Should I just reinstall?

Are you perhaps using an extremely large set of ranges?
And have you tried setting an exception in your virus scanner?
