Yeah, that was just a bad stretched image. That's not how the HUD is going to look, but give it a try and you'll see. The colors should be bright and bold, and you can always adjust anything you need. It's all editable.

What is the advantage of this / what can this do that the other major trackers can't (other than supporting certain sites without a Catcher / converter)? For example, what should I be looking for when trying it out that separates it from say Bovada Catcher + PT4?

(I'm not trolling or doubting, have been very pleased with your other products and support, and am looking for more info.)

I like having the all in one solution so I don't have to run something extra. I think eventually it will be fuller featured and support more sites. Like HM2 has a lot of nice reports pre-built. I'm sure with time we will see the same caned reports available.

It's a lot newer code base the PT4/HM2 and I think it runs a lot smoother.
I can tell you the number of times it has locked up or crashed on me is Zero. HM2 on the other hand, I don't have enough fingers and toes to count that high.

And the pricing is fantastic compared to other solutions.

No, it's a fair question. I think each tracking software has it's own advantages. I'm honestly not going to try and convince you X product is better than Y product. I think some fit specific people's needs for different reasons. I always encourage people to just try and see what works the best for them. Find what will best fit their needs.

That being said, I'm a former professional player - and I still put some decent volume in at midstakes. I've wanted to create a database I felt would meet an online professional players needs from the ground up. I have a lot of tools and features that are going into DH, even in the next couple of builds that I think will make online tracking much easier and more enjoyable for online players. I'm still at the baby stages from where my vision is. I have an extremely good team of professional developers behind me, and a love for what I do.

For people who don't already have a tracker, I think DH is a much easier and more affordable solution. For those who already do, and I already have many that do, they just like the format and stability of the product. I tried to focus on what do you REALLY need, and work out from there. I used to do a lot of database reviews, and most online pros didn't even know or use 1/20th of their database (and these were highly intelligent winning players). It was confusing to a lot of them. So I wanted to make something that was straight forward, intuitive, but will have the depth it needs to have for the most sophisticated of online poker players.

Will there be an option to have raw number like you get in HM?
It's nice to be able to have a simple clean hud with only a few stats but be able
to click to get a popup to look at more stats if needed along with specific street stats.

Just popping ITT to say how happy I am to have bought DH. I downloaded the trial the first day it was out and even with its multitude of bugs I knew it was going to end up being a great investment down the road. Keep up the good work guys.

Ty for the support. I appreciate it. I think the bugs we did have were minimal at least. Not one single crash or anything of that nature from anyone. The whole framework of DriveHUD was built around ease of use, stability, and power. So we've tried to be as meticulous as we could about reliability. That needs to be the core of a good database.

Sorry I haven't been around the thread lately. That's mainly a result of playing lots of poker and the software working great! I have 20k hands now in my db and absolutely no problems.

The only small bug I'm still seeing in 499 is where the HUD moves for a player after setting a note for them. I'll let you know if that bug persists in the 512 build.

As a software developer in a former life, I've been very impressed with your frequent updates, quick bug fixes, and the fact that you are happy to incorporate user suggestions to make the software even better.

Even as a customer it's nice to see a piece of software mature through bugfixes and added features bringing it to a very solid state. Software development is tough in that few people say nice things when everything is working right, but they are quick to point out when something is bugged.

I watch a lot of twitch streams when i'm playing. I've been spreading the gospel to anyone who will listen about trying out DH.

I suspect you haven't advertised it much since it's still in development, but I would not have found DH had it not been for zeeawk pointing me to it. I had been looking for an all-in-one solution for Bovada but googling around didn't find anything. Hopefully word of mouth helps.

I wonder about the future for you. I know HM and PT became one company. Way back in the day i used PO but they simply went away. I really didn't like the state where there was only one company when it came to HUD/DB software so I hope you don't sell out to the HM/PT guys when they show up at your office with a wheelbarrow full of cash!

Downloaded the latest update, want to try it on stars. Installation went smooth, but an error saying cannot connect to license server keeps coming up I checked postgres and It connects to 9.5. I click trail and the error message keeps showing up. Any ideas?

I downloaded the free trial 2 days ago on 9/26. 1.0.3.512 is version number. I successfully used the HUD for 2 days and really liked it. Was planning on using the free trial and then buying.

Opened it today and it doesn't let me in. It offers me to start the free trial again, buy, or register. If I click start trial again it asks for email and text from picture, but there is no picture. If I click register it requests a serial number which I don't have. Can't get past this.

Can you let me know the best way to proceed? It'd be great to keep the history for the last 2 days, but it isn't a deal breaker. I just want back in. Thanks!

Looks like they are having issues with their license server. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I would try back in a bit. Re-Installing won't do anything so don't bother trying that.

Thanks. I saw that they were having an issue as of yesterday afternoon, but I was fine all of yesterday and had no issues until today so wasn't sure if it was all related. I'll be patient.

Yeah, it's very bizarre. We haven't had this kind of failure ever before, and we've been doing software awhile. We have a new server back online, but restoring backups and testing takes a while, so it won't be back online until tomorrow. Usually worse case is you can just swap a new drive in there and restore and be back up, but that's not the case this time. We had to replace the whole system.

Any ways, ETA is sometime tomorrow. Kind of glad if this was going to happen that it happened now before we really started advertising drivehud, but of course this kind of stuff is never good.

How does DriveHUD work with PLO vs PLO8 vs FLO8 ? Can it differentiate them? Offer different default HUDs for them? Properly differentiate hand ranges, hand strengths between them? At the very least, is it even compatible with FLO8 / PLO8?

No support yet really, it will be added soon I was told, with % and all. You know, Omaha is always last on everybody's list

I'm having the same issues as other with regards the licensing/free trial ordeal. Was working fine Saturday (~14 days left of trial), and then yesterday it said the trial was over. I'm most likely going to buy it so it's not that big of a deal, but it was still odd.

PLO works well; PLO8 isn't compatible for me. Don't think it can differentiate the difference at the moment.

I think they are still working on getting the server backup.
He posted in the Card Catcher thread that there was some sort of cooling issue
in the datacenter that basically melted everything. They switched providers (I believe)
and are working on restoring from backups.

Fingers crossed that it will be back up today.
I would imagine that trials will be reset.
