I noticed that on your site the other day. Can you give a little more info on it, please? They way the copy reads, I am unsure if this creates its own HUD or if it tricks the trackers into using their own after you capture the hands

Sure. The card catcher will write it's own HH files so that your database tracker can import them and use their HUD. So the big advantage here is that things like notecaddy will work, or notetracker as well. You can setup any stat you want to track in your HUD setup, like opening in early and middle position, etc... we provide a recommended one for bovada with color coded stat ranges.

An important note though: If you have table mods, the tracker will not work as well. It's just a result of the method we're using. If you turn off game play animations and winning hand animations in settings from the bovada client, then it will work swimmingly. You'll be quite happy with it.

We've tested it for over 5 months and over 10 testers that banged on it every day, including some from 2+2. There's a less than 1% error rate on hands, which of course we're still slimming down, but overall once you get it setup you should be quite happy.

When will the tournament version be released?

How well will this work with the Bovada Hand Converter? If I use this HUD and it is auto-importing hands in real time, will they be duplicated in my database if I use the hand converter later? Or will it match them up by hand # or something?

so if i buy the card catcher HUD then I wont have to download HH and convert them? It will all be done automatically to HEM?

Soon. I don't have an ETA, but it's getting close. It's proven a lot harder than the cash games, so still doing a lot of testing and tweaking.

I suggested this to someone else, but I haven't tried it yet myself. It should work in theory. Just do a different set name other than hero for the hand converter, since the catcher uses hero (we will have a setting soon that you can change this). This way you can import into the same database, and then switch between users to see the different results (ir, if you want to know known hole cards, or import zone - which the card catcher will not catch for obvious reasons).

Correct it grabs them and imports them in real time. So you can review hands and things while you are playing. It will not catch zone hands though.

Does it work the same for HEM or PT? Does your program work smoother on either one?

Both work well, but PT is a little smoother in the sense that it auto loads the HUD, where with HM you have to add the HUD manually to each table. If you watch the tutorial video it will explain both.

this seems like the real deal. only gripe is does this allow you to see mucked cards at showdown?

It will only show what is shown at the table in real time. So whatever it can grab it will, and it will display it. So in PT for example, after showdown you'll get the mucked card review overlayed on the table.

If I were to buy this will it store all the data in PT4 after my session?

I don't have the Bovada converter but would there be any point in having that when this seems to do everything that does but in real time?

It records and stores every hand as you play them, as if you were playing on poker stars or another site that automatically generates HH's. So in session you can see your stats and hands, or for post review.

I have your Bovada HH converter (import into HM2) and use Holdem Indicator. What advantages would I gain by using your HUD over Holdem Indicator?

You can create your own HUD, and you can use a notetracking app while playing. If you own the converter though, there will be a 25% discount coupon sent out to you, or you can contact support to issue you one. If you don't have HI, obviously the Bovada card catcher is much cheaper, and you can use your favorite database with it.

No mac version, but people who use HM on mac use parallels or a similar windows emulator.

does this work with holdem manager 1?

Technically, yes. It should work on any database. but our testing and support is focused on HM2 and PT4 since HM1 is end of life.

I put up an update .09 today with some auto import setup fixes. If anyone has any issues running it or setting it up, just let me know.

Download, setup, and start up seem pretty straight forward and worked for me. However, during 3 separate sessions (1 table only/each session) after 10-15 minutes into session, Hero stats disappear and stat placement of other players become out of sync. When clicking rotate stats I get the message "You need to play some hands so we can find you". Suggestions?

so instead of 3 software programs (HI, your bovada HH converter and HM2), I just need 2 (your card catcher Hud and hm2)? cool.

here's a question-> why not write your own poker tracking software so we can eliminate HM2 as well since you seem to specialize in Bovada?

I don't own any poker tracking software but am planning to get some this month since I'm playing more online (Bovada).

I tried the trial, however, when I enable the hand catcher, my tables start to flash and no hands are in the hand history folder. Thoughts?
