I'll put it in as a suggestion, thanks. Usually people just click on the sessions tab for filtering by the hour. Then select the most recent session.

I keep having an issue where if I'm playing a long session with a lot of tables, drivehud seems to hog more and more resources and I eventually have to restart it

This isn't that big of a deal, except on bovada where the hud fails to show back up on tables that are already opened. Is there away around this?

Drivehud has always had an auto updater. It will only check auto updates on opening DH. There was an auto update last week.

As far as auto backup, we do have plans for that already.

DH will take available resources in Win 10, but it should also releases as needed. I'd need to see a log to know better what's going on w/ your system. We haven't had any reported issues like this, so I'd have to see what your system is failing to release and why. There might be certain options you have on we can turn off.

If you click on the support icon, send a message to support and click send advanced log option as well.

I've been having a similar issue as malice on occasion. It ends up freezing the bodog tables or slowing them considerably and then makes them flicker black sometimes too. At this point I usually close drivehud and bodog works fine after that.

I've noticed the same thing. I just assumed it was an issue because my poker stuff is on an older pc using Windows 10.

Can you please send your log? Maybe something recent is happening w/ the newer build. I'm having them run some more tests.

I think it's Ignition and how it's handling java memory. We've been running memory profiles w/ drivehud and ignition. We have some pretty high end software to analyze potential memory leaks or cpu leaks. DH is running very clean, no leaks or issues. So any task manager screenshots and logs of what you have on these older systems would be appreciated.

While I occasionally play on Bovada I never have more than 4 tables open over there. I also haven't played enough on Bovada to notice any obvious DriveHUD related issues.

My Disk resource spikes, causing lag, seen in Task Manager come when multitabling at BetOnline with 8 or more tables open, but I also notice Memory usage by DriveHUD increases the longer I play. I just figured this was an issue related to using an older pc with less resources.

Both BOL/Bovada are cut from the same mold. Very high resource intensive sites. Yes, you'll see some memory increase if your system has it available, DH will use it. But it will dump and swap as needed as well.

We're looking more at the catcher process phase to see if there's something new there that is causing any delay before either of those sites write their data to window. We have one log of a 12 hour session so far.

Got some screenshots right around the time my PC (which should be plenty powerful for everything) started lagging/freezing and the tables become either impossible to click on, or there is a long delay (anywhere from 1-10 seconds) until my clicks are registered.







When the issue arises, I've tried troubleshooting this myself, by closing 1 program at a time (table tamer, all of the poker sites, etc.) and the lag/freeze issue is only resolved by closing drivehud, so there seems to be some issue there.

I didn't have advanced logging enabled until yesterday, so I'll try sending a new log once it happens again to support.

Im having a real issue.I run Windows 7. DriveHud will not load for me. It just keeps the loading screen and never loads. Then I close it to restart and it wont even start up then. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software.. and have restarted my windows multiple times.

Any idea on how to fix this problem?

Thanks. Yeah, looks like w/ all you have running, table tamer in particular injecting in the same space, after 10+ hours I think the catcher process is not releasing data quick enough. The size and resources for DH and your system profile are fine. We're looking into it, but pretty sure it's related to that catching process.

No idea, but probably a missing resource, maybe caused by virus scanner deleting it. I'd need to see this file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Ace Poker Solutions\DriveHUD\Logs\drivehud.log

You can send it to support and they can look for you.

As an aside, when I do have to close down and restart DH it fails to open the HUD back on Ignition tables I've had open. Is there any way to relaunch it on tables that are already up? Seems odd it only works if DH is running before the table is opened so I may be doing something wrong.

Yw. We already have a build we've been running for about 10 hours that should resolve your issue. Developers changed up the threading so each window will act more independently. I'll post up a beta build if you'd like to try it.

As far DH, on sites like BOL and ignition there's no hand histories. DH is generating these dynamically, but in order to do this it needs an initial seed key both these sites create on load, to grab this data. If you close DH, this is gone, and the data can't be decrypted. Sites that provide hand histories, like poker stars for example, this is a non issue, and also a reason other poker databases don't like adding compatibility for sites that don't manually provide this data.

You can click the stop button in drivehud, and then click start again and it can generally re-load even if tables are already up. But that's the only way.

5. Improved HUD performance
6. Fixed the issue when DH switched to the first line in the report when new hand was imported

I'm not sure if the issues are related. Someone in the Chico Thread mentioned having a similar issue with the free BOL HUD.

Just an observation, I have used the new build today on BOL and no issue with Drive HUD crashing, I am having connection issues with the game client, seems to be disconnecting and reconnecting ?? Sometimes the lobby disconnects but my tables are still playing?? I was thinking it was on Their end??

A question about Intertops, is there a way to import the hand history into DriveHUD. I guess HUD's are not permitted but I do know where my hand histories are stored on my hard drive can they be imported???

Can you send your log into support? Maybe a layout is missing for you also, and that might be causing the issue. We'd be able to see quickly in the log.

Yeah, BOL is being a little funky the past day, according to 2+2 threads. Usually they clear it up pretty quick.

I haven't played today, but last night I experienced zero software issues with DriveHUD or BOL's client. I assume the issues I had after downloading the latest version of DriveHUD were caused by whatever issues BOL has been having the last couple of days.

In fact last night was the smoothest I've ever seen DriveHUD run when multitabling BetOnline. Whatever was done to improve performance is definitely noticeable. This may be the best update I've seen and it's greatly appreciated!
