As mley found out, a checksum seems to be calculated for each file. When the client is started, it probably ignores files that don't match that checksum.

I don't know anything about modern cryptography so I can't do much at this point.

that's the wrost news in 2011.. i play on 24hpoker.com from entraction and has the wrost layout ever!!! is there at least a way to use the skin from another entraction network like noiQ in 24hpoker client?? if not i have to change room...

I managed to change back this way

Room 2х2 updated itsself

I had old room folder archieved

All done with WinRAR

1.Unzip old(changed by EE) ext-resources.jar into new folder OLD
2. open with WinRAR new C:\Program Files\2x2 Poker\pokerclient\pokerclient.jar
3. del all files from subfolder ext-ui\graphics\
4. copy here files from OLD\ext-ui\graphics but not cards folders (spade club diamond heart)
for cards
5. del from ui\graphics\ folders spade club diamond heart
6. copy folders spade club diamond heart from OLD\ext-ui\graphics
7. del from ui\graphics\communityCardMode folders spade club diamond heart
8. copy folders spade club diamond heart from OLD\ext-ui\graphics

it worked, no cheksum for my room mb...

No, button was there before the update! (not if you deleted it with ee)

same here, i used my modded graphic ext-resources.jar
but when launch client it freeze on initializing lobby

I did some quick researching:
- SHA1 hash (MiME Base 64) is calculated to each file and stored in META-INF\MANIFEST.MF
- hashes can be calculated for example with AccuHash (http://accuhash.com/)
(Tools -> Hash Calc -> set Hash type to SHA1 -> set Encoding to MIME Base 64, select the file, calculate)

I tried to put a table.jpg in the archive, then calculated the hash and put it in MANIFEST.MF. When trying to start the client it pops up a "SHA digest error" dialog.

As I said earlier, I have no knowledge in these things, so the above info might be wrong. Hopefully someone will experiment this further.

(I actually managed to change table.jpg once... without changing the hash values or anything. Why that worked, I have no clue)

You should extract ext-resources.jar, but then just open new pokerclient.jar with winrar to replace files. Delete them as usual and then copy old files, go to File tab (in winrar) - Copy from clipboard. However, client don't want to start after modifying..

If anyone succeed, Please let us know
