yeah, it's likely a .net version issue. We're putting in more checks to make sure you have the latest installed because on a lot of win 7 systems people haven't gone to the latest.
You can check by doing the following:
# Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then press ENTER.
# Locate, and then click one of the following registry subkeys, as appropriate for your operating system and architecture:
* For all supported x86-based versions of Windows, examine one of the following subkeys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates\Micr osoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile\KB2468871\
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates\Micr osoft .NET Framework 4 Extended\KB2468871\
But I would just grab the latest and install. There are a ton of fixes and changes to the framework in performance. You can grab the latest here as long as you already have 4.x
