Hi there, I just noticed StarsCaption was in development and I cannot wait to try it out !

As a HUD feature suggestion, would it be possible to be able to display table stats such as "average% of players per flop", "average pot size in bb", "average VPIP" ?

It would help a lot to know immediatly when a table is less interesting without having to go back into the poker lobby for table selection

I think I've found another glitch with the table manager in StarsCaption and thought I'd see if you can help.

I'm trying to use a mini tile set up with active slots to make the table larger for when I have a hand in progress. Unfortunately the active tables aren't staying in their active slots as they are supposed to - they will move into the active slot for a millisecond when the action comes round to me but then revert back to their standard slots almost instantly (regardless of any action taken on the table). I have the same config setup in 888Caption where it is working perfectly and ideally I'd like to use the two together to make multi-siting easier.

I've been playing around with StarsCaption and may have also found an issue.

I tried using the HUD on a NL2 Zoom table, and the player panels don't appear in the right positions on the table. To make sure I used this format string : [pos] [[country]] [nick] - [actions]

The [pos] tags refers to the correct seat the player should be in, however the hud displays itself on another seat. This happens even if I relocate all the player huds to the right position and go to the next hand : it will be all shuffled up again.

Am I missing something ?

Edit : it seems Starscaption displays the hud correctly one out of 6 times. Probably it's out of sync with stars on 6max tables

Edit 2: a bit off topic, but is there somewhere to include the site's rake so it can be taken into account for the calculations of pot odds etc ?

On 888 I'm trying to stack sngs but whenever a new table loads it goes to the top of the stack and steals focus from the current table. Is there a setting for new tables to load behind the stack? Or maybe i have conflicting options?

I don't know how to fix it with auto activation 888 client settings (888 client does it, not 888Caption)
You can try to turn off auto activation options in 888 settings and try to use Options / Popup table whenever action is required in 888Caption.
But please test it at first on a small number of tables (some users had problems with this option).

Just to follow up, I've since tried a few other configurations and tables aren't staying in their active slots no matter where I have the table or active slots assigned, so it's not a problem unique to the configuration I posted earlier.

No the option was not enabled. I did some testing and the issue still seems to occur for me. Granted the error I was originally reporting was from my main PC running Win7, I tested out your fix on pc laptop (Win10).

Also I'm experiencing another issue, this time it seems to only happen on my laptop running win10 :
- For the table management section of the software, even the default layouts that use a single table stack and a single active table doesn't work properly. When it's my turn to act the table appears for a split second in the active table area before automatically defaulting back to the table stack section.

I was not having this issue on my main pc

SirDehi, try to enable this option. I checked StarsCaption with only enabled auto-center, so probably some HUD features doesnt work without it.
I'll try to check it too, and maybe it will be required option for StarsCaption, or I'll do a support the work properly without it.

Is the fact I'm using pokerstars' "Black" theme maybe the origin of the issue ?
No seat is centered, by default I'm offset slightly to the seat on the middling bottom right

I checked it with Black theme.
Seems it works correctly for me with any preferred seat setting. Although for Black 6-max tables necessary slightly move HUD panels, because this layout is not centered (had to turn all the panels slightly counterclockwise).
Can I see table screenshots with your problem (with two or more tables at a time)? Seems it works fine for me and I can't reproduce this issue.

About active table slots issue - I found the problem and it will be fixed in the next release. Thanks for bugs report!

hey, how do I get the betscript to not round to .5 bb? like I have it set to opening 2.14 for example and it rounds to 2.5

In what program?
In 888Caption / PartyCaption set Betscript / Round bet to / Preflop to 0.
In StarsCaption this option is Betscript / Bet's properties / Round bet to.

Also check stake / blinds level. On nl2 you can bet 2 or 2.5bb only (4 or 5 cents) and can't bet 2.14bb because it is 4.28 cents.

Hi Like,

in 888 caption I use a betting hotkey to set the bet slider to all in. Sometimes I change my mind and want to set the bet slider back to 0 so i can min raise for example, or use the increase bet by x bb hotkey for a slightly larger raise.

Is there any way i can set up a hotkey for this within caption? It seems a minor thing, but would save a few extra seconds per instance and make all the difference over a long session. Thanks
