Hi, hoping you can help. I'm reinstalling StarsCaption after performing a clean install, but StarsCaption won't open, I get the following:


The only thing different to my previous install is that I have moved it from C to D drive. I'll move it back to C drive if necessary, just want to check if there is any possible fix for this problem so I can leave it on D drive.

twoofthesame, try to reinstall it to D:\StarsCaption or some another folder.
In Program Files any software by default has no rights to create/write/modify files, and it seems StarsCaption can't create StrarsCaption.ini (file with settings).
You can configure these rights manually, but I think that won't be the best option.

I was just about to post to say that I have reinstalled in the default location and it's working again, but good to know the reason.

how to avoid new tables messing up the action order?

stars spins using sng registrator

new spins pop on top event with "Move tables to bottom of stack", when that happens it totally break the actions flow because tou have to move to the urgent table, and after that it takes a few actions for the queue to properly work again.

You can try to use Multi-stack activation mode in Table manager 2.
In this mode, if some other table pops up, then TM2 will bring the activated table back up again.

I have partypoker tables set up to open in a specific slot in the top left corner on my monitor where the tables are stacked. I move the tables around to different slots depending on the situation . When I am moved to a new table in a tournament the table is moved back to the slot in the top left corner . Is there a way for the table to remain in the same slot when I am moved to a new table ?

Partypoker opens a new one in this situation, so PartyCaption will work with it as with any new table.

Today I'm having an issue where StarsCaption isn't detecting Stars as running in Admin. I'm opening it in Admin, tried a few times but no joy. Is there something else I can try? Never had this before.

Same problem since stars update, and so not working properly. Am on Stars UK.

New Spins registrator mode

It is primarily intended for use in the client PokerStars.uk (because other registrator modes don't work there due to the redesigned spin lobby), but you can use it with other types of clients if you want.
This mode does not interact at all with the main lobby for opening tournaments, instead it uses the Register to similar tourney function, as well as the Play again button in the end of tournament dialog.
In the option 'Based on open tables sequence / Initial registration', you can choose one of two options for the initial opening of tournaments:
a) Manual
Use this mode if you play several different stakes or types of spins, or if you mix spins from different PokerStars clients. In this case, after enabling the Active checkbox, manually open all the necessary spins that you are going to play at the same time.
In the future, the registrator will click Play again button after the end of the tournament until one of the stop conditions is triggered.
b) Auto (on a base of the 1st table)
Use this mode if you only play for one stake. In this case, set the number of simultaneously played spins in Spins to keep playing, turn on Acitve and open one spin manually in the lobby, the registrator will open the remaining spins automatically (first set by Register to similar tourney function, and by Play again button later).

In this registrator mode, the pause options don't work. In the future, I'll try to add them at least for Auto mode.

Set note hotkeys arent working in Starscaption since update and also show/hide lobby and show replayer.

Actually quite a lot of other hotkeys have stopped working too. Is it something on my end?

Do you have StarsCaption v1.13 now?
What type of PokerStars client (com/uk/es/some else) and what build number?
Do you have both PokerStars and StarsCaption configured to run as admin and there are no red messages in License / Diagnostics?


One issue about Replayer hotkey already found in v1.13, it can click Deposit button instead of Replayer, on only one table open, it will be fixed in the next version.

I am very sorry it was my own fault, for some reason i had unchecked the enable hotkeys by mistake.

Is there an option to disable certain table from the slots/grid in table manager 2 ?

If I created a configuration with slots, and I would like to be able to take one or more tables out of the slots to move it freelly, for example move it to other space that the slots don't occur or just manually make it bigger/smaller etc - is there a hotkey or option to do so?
